M.Scotty. P I'm saying that windwaker wasn't a wiiU game it was a gamecube game. Toad, hyrule warriors, Mario kart etc were not ports on wiiU they were wiiU exclusive games.

My girlfriend asked if I wanted to play this game (asking if I would buy it for her) and we ended up buying it. She 100%'d the game over the weekend and had a great time, shes not a very tuned gamer but she loved all the challenges. A great buy for $40.

Honestly I love this game, I love puzzle games and I think toad is adorable. I didn't own a wii u so I'm glad they ported it to the switch. I'm only halfway through and loving it, however I do think its over priced considering I'm speeding through it. Not to say it isn't fun or anything but I'm thinking it should be no more than 30 dollars and even that's pushing it. Oh well.

One of the best parts of having a second player who can throw red turnips is helping people who are not good at games. I play a lot of games with my young daughter and my wife who is just getting into video games and being able to stun enemies and point to where they need to go is a very helpful tool.

start watching your video since I bought my switch in June 2017, apperciated your effort and it's enjoyable to watch it !

We picked this game up in 2019 and this by far has been our family's most favorite game on the planet right now. Not to mention another episode has been created and can be downloaded making three episodes so far. This game has a lot of replayability and definitely take longer than 7 hrs to play I hope Nintendo makes at least one more episode to the game.

Also I think toko mirage sessions is on the switch I have no idea if it's a spin of or what but it has final fantasy in it

5:14 Same with me! I got the 3DS version for Christmas and beat the first chapter in a few hours and was surprised that the game was $40. Then I was glad that there was more levels.

Just recently started watching your channel and I love it

The thing about having two toads on the screen is the camera is a super pivotal part of the game. If one person wants to turn right while the other wants to left well that wouldn't work. I guess they could have done split screen but split screen can be pretty tedious in my opinion.

The level design of Captain Toad is insane. It is masterpiece for platformers. The fact that he cannot jump narrows the possibilities, and the level design needs to be smart to take these constraints and play with them. On top of that, it is Nintendo, very polished, very cute, hours of game. I love that game, I am so happy that Switch users can enjoy this Wii U exclusive.

If you didn’t play it on the Wii U, I think it is worth it

Its a great game one of the best o the U. I have it on my U. I wont be buying the switch version but I will get the 3ds version. I am not putting any U ports, retro, or games not made in the current year on my switch. The reason is there are so many great new games. I will put all old and retro stuff just on my 3ds. Nintendo if you see this take all Gamecube, N64, Wii, and Wii U games you can and put them on 2ds/3ds if you plan to keep the DS line alive for a longer period.

Looking back at this now, it's cool that they've now added in the co-op with 2 people but i'm surprised they didn't add it in from the beginning, i do enjoy the added special episode though. :)

Well Smash 5 is coming out, so Smash 4 would never come to the switch. Also a new Mario tennis game came out too, so yeah Mario Tennis Ultra Smash would not come out on switch either.

The amount of ports coming from the wii u really remind me of the released on the dreamcast coming to the ps2 and original xbox back when, so many games were just released onto those later systems it was staggering.

You should have played Captain Toad on Wii U. It's much more comfortable on TV with the Gamepad, touchscreen&gyro. Cleaner version. And you don't have to support that persistent awful blue point everywhere.

Cause it’s pretty good.

Octopath is so neat, i want it so bad. I want to either have it now or buy in the autumn. it just feels like one of those games to play while the autumn leaves are falling off the trees and turning orange.

I have a 99% completed file of this game on Wii U. Do you know why it's not 100%? That fucking final level! It's this game's Crown World. Anyway, I don't think I'll be picking this up, but for $20 after a few years then maybe I'll get it. By that point the experience should feel fresh.

Anyone who complains about these ports really need to look in the mirror and contemplate why they were dumb enough to buy a Wii U.

Erase I'm looking at the 2DS/3DS version, and that seems about right for a used copy, or a Nintendo Selects version, but it's current price is too high in my book, and the 2DS/3DS version should have been priced at $30 at most for a new copy with the Switch version at $35 at most, and both of those prices are pushing it.

This was an awesome game. Fun to play in between other games. Great production value.

Preordered this and I actually really like it. Definitely reminds me of Monument Valley and other similar puzzle games I’ve played on mobile devices. Octopath looks like a super interesting game though. Not like the other 16-Bit games I’ve seen. Can’t wait to try it out
