In this video we look at the HobbyPlus CR-18P EVO. Why did FURITEK choose to make the NEW FX118 out of this rig? Let's find out! FURITEK is now in collaboration with HOBBY PLUS. Why? Because this rig has class leading features that you can't find in any other 1/18 scale crawler. What are they? Let's take a look.
The CR18P EVO is the newest iteration of the popular CR18 platform. The new CR18P Evos remote control crawler can offer an unmatched crawling and trailing experience with new features.
Building on from the original CR18P chassis, which featured metal portal axles, a 45-degree steering angle, and a buttery smooth ESC, the EVO adds 2-speeds, full metal gears in the transmission.
A larger 130 100T brushed motor, and a much-improved weight bias, leading to an all-round superior crawlers. LCG weight bias with front-mounted motor.
Rock Van EVO is brimming with retro style in yellow/metal gun. It stands out on the rock course with its Lexan van body, but takes everyone by surprise with its ultra-capable crawling performance.
New body style and paint scheme. Featuring some nice plastic-molded scale features, such as side view mirrors, a cool bumper, tons of light functions, and windscreen wipers!
The EVO also comes with inner fenders pre-installed, completing the look and protecting it from debris. If you don’t have a van in your crawler collection, now is the time!

Just feel like 200 bucks is a bit much. I get. That is all metal and 2 speed gearing but the fcx24 k5 is marketed as 1/24 but it is really more 1/18. 2 speed, portal and very capable out of the box for 145 bucks on Amazon. All that being said, congratulations on the sponsorship and keep up the good videos.

Thanks. The CR-18P EVO is only $140. Unless you are talking about the FX118. It will be $200. I do like my FMS K5. Wheel base is short for a 1/18 but the body definitely is closer to 1/18. The FX118 comes with major upgrades. Brushless motor, oil filled shocks, and Furitek aluminum chassis. Well worth the extra $60. I will have more videos coming soon. Thanks for watching.

Thanks. So, no. The FX118 is beefer to try and handle the brushless power. Same length, they are just heavier duty.

@hyperc5249 I love mine. Oil shocks makes a huge difference. Waiting on wheels and tires. I have a furitek 118 on the way too.
Because fms was charging them too much for axles.
