Florida was a lost cause. Between des Santis and trump, Dems were wise not to invest too much there. It's sad to see such a swing state disappear, but nature always balances. Enter Az and Ga.

Even NC may be more promising than FL, though the Democrats have come up tantalizingly short in federal statewide contests of late (2008 is the most recent year, with wins by both Obama and the now-deceased Kay Hagan) ☐
Geoffrey's "Coke'd up" laugh was perfect! lol

You lost the house.
GOP will still win the House and no amount of whining from the press can change that

Probably. Overall it's still decent news for Democrats and bad for Republicans.

It won't be a governing majority. They don't have a mandate.

it will be such a narrow win that it won't matter in the grand scheme of things.

Likely yes, but it’ll be a narrow win

Yes, they will very likely win the House thanks to gerrymandering. Still with high inflation and the president with low approval ratings they should have been able to pick up a lot more seats. The red wave never materialize and Republicans have simply underperform.
