Just got the game today, although the movement feels a little more restricted to what I’m used to; the game feels extremely smooth and very satisfying. The weapon design and feel is fantastic, I have to wonder if the devs have any plans for the future of this game since I really want to see what other stuff they come up with, still awesome regardless

10/10 game. Gameplay, art style , music , challenge .... honestly amazin.

Im big new to this game... how do you mark an enemy ? how do you "use an ability" ? how do you do the grapling thing? how do you use grenades?

I ABSOLUTELY agree! Bought the game searching for new rougelikes games to 100% and I don't regret it, it has me hooked. I've been enjoying it so far, it's awesome, it's super cool, the devs are ultra chill they care about the game updating it constantly, it's polished, looks very good and it even has lore. What else can you ask? 10/10

@@purplefire3190 it gives you a fair lot of entertainment. 4 characters and three difficulties. Several upgrades, many general and many for specific for the characters. It is fun to play though, it gets you hooked pretty easily and it has a lot of achievements (I'm an achivement-hunter btw) So personally I say you should give it a shot (pun intended), it won't let you down

@BBKDRAGOON it's a great game overall dude and has the old school kinda feel to it. It's just a complete game with no annoying add-ons. The boss battles are a highlight too.

Ever since i played The Ascent, I've been desperate for more cyberpunk. An fps that has fast paced gameplay? Sounds like the ideal game for me rn lol.

@@cottoncandylol7175 it's my favourite game in a while. Though my experience is on PC, it was pretty bug free, (no crashing or save lose). If you're on a console though, I've heard it has some performance issues. Gameplay was really fun, especially for a twin stick shooter type. Visuals were gorgeous, my favourite looking game in years. Story was good, nothing groundbreaking, just enjoyable.

Q2 Remaster

This game has so much style, i saw skill up talk about this game and I'm glad to see more people pick it up! On a side note, have you tried Remnant II? It's another rogue like I think you'll have lots of fun with!

I'm happy that Skill Up is showing it some love, it deserves SO much support, it's is REALLY good. I haven't tried Remnant II just yet, I like the Souls elements and will have to give it a shot sometime. Thank you for the recommendation!

Played it has I got it from a humble bundle. I liked what the game does but really didn't get into it. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

deadlink is what we haven't had enough of in a long time: a videogame that plays like a videogame. all nonsense removed, every minute is fun. no clue what your other content is like, i just looked for a way to advertise this to a streamer.

I played it in beta. Definitely worth the price. Its missing something though. Unsure what lol For the price and the awesomeness you can't ask for much more though. Ill probbaly grab this on PS5 Im not a good PC gamer thoigh im not coordinated enough I guess lol

The game is really good I just wish there was more variation in levels, enemies, bosses, etc... I started to get very bored towards the end of completing the upgrade tree. I also expected the harder difficulty to be more engaging, and the bosses got stale. Don't get me wrong, if it had more randomized elements/better replayability this would be an amazing game but it needs more content to be truly great. Just my honest take after 30-40 hours of playing.

the game is fun but it's not well designed. the more you progress the more enemies become bullet sponges and your damage is not enough, it's like feeling underpowered in an rpg the more you progress in the game. enemies with shields are a bad design, there is no fast way to kill them from behind, so you need at least 2 combo during early stages and like 4 in late game, it gets tedious. last zone is just mini boss after mini boss with cheese designs, that are more a chore to fight against than being fun. In doom ethernal enemy's attacks were well designed to be seen in every area, here you won't tell what you hit, from where and how. Too many enemies teleporting around, being just boring to fight against. Last boss is even worse than the third shitty one. This game is a solid 7/10 nothing more. pretty bad rogue like overall, good fps.

Doom did it first, roboquest second 🤷

Feels kinda boring t ome so far. Can only carry 2 weapons; one tied to class. Have to constantly spam powers to mark things or you just plain don't get armor for killing at all (its like an incredibly bad take on space marine/doom kill system). Very little enemy variety. Very slow metaprogression becausey you pay the same resources to unlock the ability to see what's available to unlock as you do unlocking those things. So we got a game that boils down to insanely repetitive rote actions with an at least 50% static inventory of weaponry that expects you to play it a million times to make it less bad.

You are still way better of playing Doom Eternal if you have not played it yet especially considering it is now cheaper than Deadlink. Deadlink is good but not that great, it's not like Deadlink has something new to offer, the movement, the roguelite structure... Doom's "shooting dance" is a lot smoother imo and Deadlink is not really pretty and the music is ok but not nearly as good as in Doom Eternal. Don't get me wrong it makes me really happy and I am the first to jubilate when indie devs get so good that I end up playing only indie games, I dropped AAA a long time ago already I think we are living like the second golden age of gaming low key because of the indies making a killing in the industry especially since 2022 was absolutely wild.

A bit late of a complaint 7 months after the fact and the game is pretty universally liked by everyone who plays it for the most part lol. Having a positive review on the game doesnt equate to being a shill especially when the game deserves the praise

Nah man I'm sorry. No matter how good the game is, a game that can physically be finished in under 15 minutes (without glitches or w/e) can never be game of the year.
