Except for Casey Anthony and mothers like her to which there are many so stop giving all credits to all moms. Have some standards and stop generalizing. Only give credits to the good moms where credit is due not just anybody with the title of mom. If it is so obvious and true then why need to even state the obvious? Cause it isn't obvious by the mere fact you even have the need to make that statement. Moms are everything that's why so many people never visit and let them rot in a senior home. what people say and what they really do are two totally different things.

I dont know about others culture or tradition but in asia, we usually live with our parents even when we get scolded, beaten by our dear parents we still prefer to live with them since we love our parents, elders and have a untouchable bond. Even when we are angry and move out, we still misses our parents and remembers our mother cooking when we previously say bad words saying how many times the same food we will eat, but after we move out, we remember our parents, the food, so its not bad to live with our parents. We r not like others nation like america where they usually move out early and live alone which is hard for me....since, i remember when i left for higher studies, i remembered i recalled my mother, father, the home cook everything. So, treasure those days. Since, u will know only ur parents will stay with stay in ur dark times when everyone left u or( some good friend or prtner, which is usually hard to find now, in these days)

When they were there for you when you couldn't even understand the world around you...why can't you be with them at the age when they need the support and care of their loved ones even more. True, my Indian colleague told me this too. It was interesting to hear about his culture. My only qualms with it was that family would know all your business and the pressure of being perfect for in-laws as a wife. But besides that, I could immediately see the benefits of helping raise each others kids so parents can follow their career, or have each others backs or ensure the elders don't get lonely as they get older.
