Why Christian Church Failed in India to Convert Hindus?

One of the basic concepts in Christianity is the Original Sin. Christians claim that Jesus died for the sins of others. But the entire Crucifixion story of Jesus Christ makes no sense at all. How can we inherit original sin from Adam? Why blame us for something we didn't do? That's not justice, and the Bible agrees: ''Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin'' (Deut. 24:16). So the story of Jesus Christ contradicts the Christian God itself!!!

A conversion must be voluntary. Unfortunately, there are reports that people are being forced to convert back to Hinduism through threats. Obviously there are people who do not respect the freedom to believe what you want

But the HIndu culture adopts and there is space for questioning unlike other faiths where you might get killed for questioning. There are probable good moral in all religion. I am a atheist but i come from a Hindu/ Tibetan buddhist culture and tradition. So culturally I am a Hindu.
Some Christian missionaries tried to convert me and my family in exchange for monthly rice bags, but we refused to convert into Christianity.

I will tell you why, Hinduism can only be sustainable in one place, India! No matter how much you try India will be able to sustain Hinduism and its Vedas/sacred writings. Right now, there are millions of sacred books, yet when the Mughals had arrived they destroyed 98% of Hinduism's infer stratus yet Hinduism has been able to sustain itself in India, this is why the Church couldn't convert Hindus. It is because Hinduism has a strong unity and strong faith.

Hinduism does not have "Idol worship." An idol is a "craven" (false) image that is manufactured from one's imagination. Hindus have a system of icon worship known as kriya-yoga in which the Lord is asked to be present within the icon to be receive the articles of worship. It's a very personal form of worship which can be undertaken even in the home. Now, I realize that the distinction between the discipline of kriya-yoga may be indistinguishable from "idol worship" to people whose 5-second attention spans make them more attracted to religions like Christianity and Islam. Half of the people don't even know what Hinduism is. Do some research first. Hinduism have only one supreme and all living beings are small parts of it. Hinduism doesn't put strict rules on people, thus people created various gods as they liked. And it doesn't matter as in Hinduism the only thing that matters is Karma. You can worship any God or anyone, all that matters is what good you are doing. That's why some people see their parents as gods. Please read more and see how amazing this religion is.

I suspect you do not remember the Bible as well as you might think and your interpretation will be biased because of a lack of understanding. Don't mean to be derogatory. Many people, including Christians don't either. I know God and I know Jesus and I know the Bible a little better than average. (I'm of senior age :)) But I know the Author better :). Without the Spirit of God, the Bible can be a dead book only bringing fear to the reader. When read as a continued story from beginning to end one would read of God dealing with earthly creation and humankind in a fatherly manner. He is the perfect Father. One who loves but also one who disciplines to correct unacceptable behavior eg hating or killing your neighbor or child sacrifice. I also know the condition of the human heart and our need for redemption. God provides that redemption through becoming a man himself and dying for the sins of the world, so that humans don't need to be condemned, but can inherited everlasting life which begins the moment we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior - and are Born Again - and become a New Creation in Christ. vedic holy scripture has lasted before the bible and is scientifically agreeable with the laws of nature and psychology of human mind which was way ahead of its era. Hinduism is a way of life and as a Catholic I understand the deities in Hinduism as each represents God himself so it isnt idol worship. God is seen in all of nature and each of his qualities is worshipped, just how Catholics have many saints and pray for intercession from God. why convert anyone why just let people live and be free. there is wisdom in many beliefs and many doors to the same God.

Worship can be any idol, yourself, others, things, god's, goddesses, avatars. Vedic holy scriptures was not before the creation of this world. God's eternal word or the Word of God existed before all religions began or remaining presently. Scientific discoveries for some time are made just after or later God's creation. God created nature, and psychology of human mind is still limited. Hinduism philosophy is just the ways or thoughts of mankind. In Hinduism you are dictated to what to think or do. You have a free will, you willing convert yourself in error or truth. People live or free to believe in whatever. It is everyone's choice for darkness or light. It is your own soul, you sow and reap your consquences. All in all, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.

I live from faith to faith, and change from glory to glory. I am supposed to judge rightly. You do not know this from the bible. Everyone can start the process to get their spirit saved first, then they can start on their soul being saved. And later their body will be saved in the future. I read your comments in the past, and it is evident you do not have a working knowldege of the basic scripture verses within the new testament books. I have peace already, your peace is base on your idea or circumstances. Only God can sentance anyone to hell. I am not God to do so. God's word is written. God deals with all people according to their revelation from God, the truth they already have from God or their conscience of right or wrong. People have free will like you with your mixture of beliefs or opinions. Working on yourself is just being self righteousness. Heaven is expected for believers in Christ. Jesus said, he is preparing places for Christian brethren to live in the new heaven or new earth. Before I did not believe in a heaven or hell. I used to be atheist. You know you have a free will. You can reject God or being a real Christian. If you know verse John 6:66; many disciple's got offended at Jesus word's and walked (or disagree) no more with Jesus. note the word many, could this be you also? You have not study all the words relative to judging in the bible, and the context for each wording. Don't you judge yourself every day, in deciding, discerning or making a decisions on important matters with your mind, sight,etc? There is no refuge in yourself. It is Jesus Christ God's Son that forgave my sins, through his sinless body, and precious blood. Jesus Christ is the ultimate sacrifice or atonement for mankind's sins. Real Christianity is unique. Being a Catholic did not make you sound in the faith. You did not trust and obey, for there is no other way, Hinduism is fatalism, not the God faith or living faith. Having a mixture, or opinions or philosophy is keeping you in darkness still. You might meditate, but it is a false peace. You are not safe being a Catholic. What is the opposite of truth. It is the word false. You do not have a foundation yet. You do not know the context or can right divide the word of truth in the old testament books or the new testament books. You have the cart before the horse. God is eternal, invisable, in heaven and earth, through his Son, and the Holy Spirit. A rock,etc. is just material things. I know already how you could think or believe. Wear only white dress and no colours 3.Dont wear any ornaments but have all in the safe. 4.Stand in all roads, public gathering, visit door step of unknown person and give pamplets and brouchers to market Cristianity to others. 5. Should the target allocated to them in so called "Churches" to convert other people to cristianity (Literally like sales marketing and MLM) 6. Get the small reward for it from their churches. So called "Churches" in India - Get the huge Hawala money from Western powers in the name of NGO and have a wealthy life and give very small money to there religious sales workers.

Well the reason for that I will say is hindus In general have their own believes already and more than that their religion teaches to accept and respect all the other religions unlike Christianity or islam. so for them there is no need to convert to another they just simply follow theirs they hardly to debate that which is the right religion etc.
Well that is a relief. I was afraid they had had numbers converted over time. My answer is that Hinduism is the Mother of all religions on this Earth so no Hindu needs to make any changes at all. The Vedas, Hindu holy books, are holy by virtue of the knowledge they retain & for no other reason. And that knowledge includes a very long history as well as science & engineering. There is no reason to "convert" to Hinduism. What is needed is to broaden thought & understanding.

Your claim is false. The Vedas offer man a path of forgiveness and the Divine. Christianity is completely man-made. This is all made-up later.

Is forgiveness base on fabrication made by ancient religious men, and ancient phiolosophers? Are all the gods, goddesses, and avatars all sinless? You know very well Jesus Christ is not reported in the Vedas or RV book. Christianity founder is Jesus Christ the author and finisher of Christian's faith. Jesus completed God's will. There are no three gods. You should know what the word manifestation means also. I do not go by the past teachings of the church fathers and their debate what the word trinity means or not. The word trinity is not in the bible, like other words in the English language or other languages. You might not use the word trinity also. But I can explain to you and others. You are in a body, within a spirit, and soul. You are three in one body shell with a spirit, and a soul within. God is manifestated in Holy Spirit, for God is Spirit, invisable, The Word that became flesh, the Lamb of God, when Jesus Christ return to Heaven at God's right hand side, the Holy Spirit was sent to the earth. Who dwells in the real Christians within the earth and even presently. There are no three God's, only one true and living God. Hebrews call God by the name Yahweh. English speaking people call God or Jehovah. Other people call God by name in their native language. Really religions, and philosophy were fabricated by mankind for mankind. You can not be saved by being in defiance, standing up against God's authority or power, refusing to recognise or obey God, you are writing in open resistance. You keep challenging, in vain to contest or to prove your point of view or position. Even if you are a god to yourself you are just a creature, not the Creator. Your pride is one of your sins and you have not humble yourself yet? You will never win in the end. On this world, we can be like a vapor and be no more in this physical world. Virochana Asura, your claims are false. The Holy Spirit is indweling in the true Christians. You are only born physical by your birth mom. you are not born again of the Spirit of Christ. Jesus words are spirit and life. Note 2 Corinthians 13:14; The grace of the (Lord Jesus Christ,) and the love of( God,) and the communion of the (Holy Ghost,) be with you all. Amen. Three manifestations of the only one, true, and living, One God called Yahweh or Jehovah or in what language spoken in name. You have no discernment yet. So you make up your opinion like others. Become born again, get your sins forgiven, and sin no more. The Holy Spirit will commune with you to reveal to you, teach you, and guide you. The RV book was fabricated in ancient times, it is another voice or philosophy. You just blindly assume a false path of forgiveness on self realization within one's self to liberty or oneness. There are no sound doctrines, but diverse doctrines that do not saved your soul in Hinduism. You need to seek the truth with all your heart, and not be lazy, expecting people to answer your questions. Debating just gives you a big head. Out of my love for a christian girl I myself once agreed to take official baptism in the respective church where she attends but backed off when argued that I should not have my regards and respects for Hindu festivals and rituals which I have attended since childhood days i.e. have my respect for Jesus name but if it means to hate and abuse Hinduism to convince others to convert then I am sorry.
