Why Chris "Lethal Shooter” Matthews Didn’t Make The NBA. Stunted Growth

Today’s feature is a guy I’m sure most of you have seen come across your social media feeds, with his shooting videos of him making traditional and non traditional shots in different out the box situations, and when not doing that, you see his name a bunch under athletes post likely spreading a positive word. He’s managed to build his basketball brand in some ways because of it. The other way is because he is actually the shooter he proclaims to be and has years of experience at this point under his belt helping players improve their shooting results to prove it. What I find most interesting about the prospects of doing a Lethal Shooter story is how relatable his story is, as well as how he was able to transition to life after basketball. Not everyone that plays the game at a young age can make the NBA as we all know. In fact most that aspire to be basketball players won’t make the league and that’s how it was, is and probably will be for a long time. With that said, most will have that point in their life when they realize the dream is over and now what. You’ve worked on your basketball craft how ever hard and to whatever extent all your life, now entering a full grown adult you have to find a different way? That’s not an easy thing to do for a player, especially one that realizes the exact reasons they never made it. When he finally put it all together, his future shaped more like an assistant, a teacher and motivator more than an NBA run, so rather than be down about it, Lethal Shooter decided to embrace it, count it as a blessing and focus on the future. He’s considered one of the best shot doctors in the game right now, so why didn’t he receive an NBA opportunity? Why Chris "Lethal Shooter” Matthews Didn’t Make The NBA. Stunted Growth

You can add Tony Stanley in there as well who played for Dayton Flyers. Val left too early and was not ready. His head got big and was not humble enough. I believe he would of made the league if he worked on his defense, shot selection as well. He also never really learned to play point guard. I also think if he played today he would of made the league without needing to make the adjustments to his game.

Jordan classic all American, McDonald all American and 2x Gatorade player of the year all of this standing only 5’9…broke his wrist in the nba combine after his freshman year and had many knee surgeries starting in high school ..had a healthy career over seas tho ..gave John wall 30 ball in Vegas junior year with a win in front of Michael Jordan who’s son also said Tommy was the best high school players he’s ever played with ..need more info lmk but I think this will be good player to talk about on your platform. We are real blood first cousins and played on his team my whole life ..this will raise his spirit to do a video . Him leaving college early is still a mistake he regret and he don’t even like talking about basketball anymore ..so many nba players who love try to reach out and he don’t respond ..I’ll really appreciate if u can do a video on him ..maybe it will motivate him to pick the ball back up or at least coach ..

I do not have anything against basketball or any professional sport, however...it is a avocation, not a career choice. Truthfully, if Chris Matthews had put in the same time to a career as he did basketball, he would be a very successful person today. I was All Big-Ten running back my junior and senior year in college, but I quickly saw that that was NOT my future. I wanted to be a medical doctor. I passed up the NFL draft so I could go to medical school. I graduated near the top of my class and have since enjoyed a wonderful career as a specialist in Internal Medicine. My only regret is that I wish I had never played football, but it did pay for my college education. Forty years later I am still enjoying my life as a doctor. To hell with sports!

Thanks for the video, i totally disliked his "Guillotine" "Moving basket" videos. Thought this circus shit is edited.......... But now i saw he had drive and handles too.... Incredible he didnt made it to the NBA in nowadays Steph times. I see the resemblance now to KD's shot. Big respect....
