I've worn this watch working hospital security for the last six years. I can't tell you how many battles with psychiatric patients, meth heads, and drunks I've fought while wearing it. This watch is tough as nails and the digits are more beefy than the standard DW-5600 model. Mine's still going strong in 2020. No cheesy solar or multi-band 5 bullshit….just the basics. A great ass kicking watch that never gets in your way. Just buy it now, then come back and thank me later!

I’m also a hospital security officer and was look for a watch that can with stand the type off battles I go threw day in and day out at the hospital I think it’s a great looking watch and would be perfect thank you for your comment it’s helped me a lot with my decision on buying this watch

I just got mine today. It's my 8th G-SHOCK, and the smallest, should I say the youngest one in the "family". I still have to explain this purchase to my wife though. No regrets! 😂

just bought it last 2 week for my engagement day. this is my first g shock and easily one of the best watch I've own so far.

The display comparison is just a great idea.

One of the best if not the best G-Shock I've own. Very minimalistic, timeless and can be worn with casual or sporty outfits. I love looking at it just because of the display looks so nice. I sold my G-Steel, Rangeman and GDX for this one and I've no regrets. Some might say I'm crazy but this one it's just so versatile compared to other models.

I have mine two years and the battery is still going strong. It tells you everything you need to know in one glance. Not to mention it is indestructible.

@@chimingw yeah all those functions noone uses even when you're an extreme active life. Time, date, timer and alarms are most used anyways. And this watch is extremely comfortable to wear, and has a beautiful screen. So i understand him completely. 👍🏼

Yup, very light, and simply great display for everyday use. Didn’t even know it was a g shock. A lot of my g shocks only go with what I’m wearing that day. A lot of their functions aren’t being used as they sometimes aren’t so simple or very different in many ways. So this one is my choice for work etc

The DW-5600 series is truly the peak of the G-Shock line. It is the perfect intersection of affordability, functionality, durability and design. The DW-5600BB in particular is an exponent of the latter: not only is its negative display super sleek and stylish, it is also highly legible due to its excellent contrast and chunky timer digits. It's probably the best negative display G-Shock under 100 USD/€.

I just bought the 5600 on last week with the regular display and i’m very happy with it. I have another one (G-100) analog/digital with inverse backlight screen and i find it difficult to read in certain angles especially on the sun so I don’t prefer it. You can get easily new straps and bezel from the internet anytime.

The display kinda reminds me of the always on display feature of some Samsung smartphone. The watch itself is perfect for me as a skinny person. Really comfortable to wear and it looks really slim!

Bought it last months. Looks cool and very minimalistic. It is like a pumped up version of the F91-W.

I'm feeling lucky, punk I Just ordered the GA-2100! Not going to lie I wasn’t into G-Shocks but when I saw the GW-5600bb I fell in love with the minimalist sleek design

I got this same watch for a few months now. One of the best out of the square line ups

I bought it 5 years ago, a 5600 BBN (because of the canvas strap) I really like it, since then I haven't had any problems with it. I also use it every day for work. I have another Casio watch that cost twice as much, but .... this remains my favorite

I love G-Shock, have 4 at home (GW 9400, GW-A1000FC etc...) but for 100$ I would buy different model... For example GD 350 with Vibrating Alarm!

Now I want one lol forsure you can’t deny how cool it looks and being some compact helps tremendously. Especially if your into lifting or your work can be very physical. I have the dw5600e-1 so I think the bb would be a nice upgrade indeed :)

This is my most used G Shock. Ended up buying the white version also.

This is my second one of these watches I also have a white one, I think the all black looks slick though.

Subtle presence yet strong enough to last a long time and most importantly, it doesn't "break" your budget to own one.🙂

Always wanted G-Shock but I was put off by overly cluttered displays. This however is excellent. Great display, minimalist design. My only minor issue? I’d prefer a black metal buckle for full stealth mode. Buy one, it’s great.

Hey , could you please tell me the whether i can go for this watch or can i buy the solar powered watch same series i just confused and want to know it also shows the World time or not

I have this watch and it's a really good buy. I like the look of it and it's really light on the wrist. Only 2 negative point for me are that's it's borderline too small. I have a bigger wrist and the cloth band is on the smaller side for me. But of course you can change it to a bigger band if you want. Second point is: my display got scratched a bit. So be carefull. It's not as indestructible as they say. Other than this it's a very goood watch for the price. The display is outstanding as said. Very easy to read.

Can you remember how many battery replacement during those 12 years?

Is the display blue? Im looking at buying one online but the pictures look like the display is the typical greenish or white display but this one looks blue which i like. Unless its the lighting or something thats making them look different

The Adjust button is deeper than other buttons. Is it difficult to use the Adjust button?

I used to have 5600ms-1 but the numbering is not very clear. When this video compared both watches, i will definitely get this BB later because the numbering celarer than ms-1

Can anyone explain why the screen is so small when the face is so big? They could have had huge digits on the screen making it twice as readable but IMO it looks a bit silly with such small digits.

If there was just a bit more to the "bezel" area, it would have been perfect. But I think I get the murdered out look too

I made a very good deal in about that 100$ range with my m5610 which i think it is the best g shock out there Casio lost themselves on gadgets for a while And with smartwatches outdoing them in that departement it came back to the core having a badass watch not a toy to tinker with and thats proper casio territory where they leave the competition far behind

Crystal scratches easier than any other in my experience. At least with the Chinese made version. Keep replacing but continues to scratch easily.
