Looks good, cleans up the field, and gives you a little more room to operate. Really great job! I agree…crushing the old brick and concrete will definitely save you some money, and I like that you are reusing the material elsewhere. Congratulations on getting the grant to put a roof on the silage area next year!

Tom you’re a farmer if you didn’t like the smell of dirt we would all be concerned. Great job on recycling and it is amazing how much recycling you guys are done on the farm and it’s true farmers of the Kings recycling I just hope other farmers and other areas do this as well because I think in some places they’re not as good at doing it as you are. Everyone have a great week. be well be you

Tom, I love your channel. You teach/show us so many sides to farming. When you think of dairy farming you think of cows in a field until its time to milk.....repeat. Now we know its the type of grass along with all of the other feed and supplements. Its cow comfort that is involved also. The amount of time ,money, and the entire thought process involved to update and maintain the buildings and properties to make your farm more efficient for time and profit. I never new grants were involved but it does make sense and it increases modernization. The crusher was impressive also and you told us again about the cost side of things. Thanks Tom from an old great grandmother that lives in a busy city in the states.

Nice bit of kit that crusher, like you say it will save you money as well which is never a bad thing. It's also environmentally friendly in a number of ways, yes you are recycling, but your also not digging something out of the ground or dredging from the sea bed. Saw briefly the new drain being installed, going to be another game changer. Do the contractors doing the work have there own U-tube channel, would be interesting to see the process from there side. 👍🤗

Hi Tom, you are a great recyclable farmer. Many people just throw things out and by new. That crushed rock will serve many purposes around the farm and save you so much money. Great idea. We got a quick glimpse of some progress works, so you are moving ahead to have the new parlour up and running soon. I think you will need a break soon too cause your next child is on the way and when here will keep you both on your toes. Great video. Chris from Australia 🇦🇺.

Great video as usual Tom. You are amazing on what you 're achieving on the farm. See the channelling going in and using the crushed stone already. With putting a roof on the silage will make alot better for water run off, as able to run the excess water to a collection pit instead of in the slurry. Nice to see Jo looking healthy and well, what date have you been given for baby as my wife keeps nagging me to ask ?Wonderful idea to crush all that rubble but now you have the task of spreading it out when needed, definitely be a big saving on cash.

I don't know how you control the drone and drive the Manitou at the same time. I'd end up in the field with the drone crashing into the slurry tank! Good job.

Your lucky, I start at 4am, we are now getting done at 11am. Then milking at 2 till 7pm. Hopefully in the next week or so, we'll be back to milking 3 times a day. They're giving way to much milk at the moment. 18,000 litres from 400

If you don't put the wooden blocks directly above each other it increases the stress on the concrete
