I met Burt and Tracy Ward at their dog rescue in 1997 when I was having behavior problems with my Great Dane puppy. It was a memorable experience. They were both so nice, gracious and down to earth. It only hit me on the drive home who he was. I kept saying to my kids, “I know his name from somewhere.” Granted I was 5 or 6 when I watched Batman. Lovely genuine people who honestly wanted to help dogs and their owners.

Censors probably had problems with Ward's physique below his belt as probably did some very conservative viewers who were concentrating on things most of us never paid attention to...I watched the show back when it aired & never once saw a reason to crotch-watch anybody. Censors back in the 1950s & 1960s were very odd, even making several actors shave their chests before doing shirtless scenes or because their chest hair could be noticed through their shirt collars...William Shatner on Star Trek was told to shave his chest so he would appear more civilized & less barbaric & wild...Leonard Nimoy was told to keep his chest hair because they said it made him look more devilish & alien. ...Also, no man would volunteer to shrink his package unless he desperately needed money...there are types of jockstraps any man can wear that makes his private shape nicely contoured instead of being obvious.

That's the difference between kids and adults. THEY are the ones who are obsessed with sex. Kids just see a cool superhero they want to be. They just want to watch and be part of the story. Get caught up in it. When you lose your ability to imagine, lose your ability to believe in the magic of the story, you become one of "those" adults.

I know I wouldn't have taken those pills no matter WHAT the role! I also read the same thing about Ricky Nelson. Once the dude hit puberty he became hung as a Shetland pony and they made HIM tape it down for his parents TV show as well! 30,000 wpm and 90% comp?!?! And I felt pretty good about my measley 700-900 wpm and 81% comp. That's insanely cool and impressive AF.

I didn't know Burt Ward was so cool and accomplished. Your bio is absent the addictions, abuses, and infidelities typical of most actors' lives (so it seems).

Adam and Burt scored hundreds if not thousands of female groupies during the three seasons of the Batman series., both at the studio property and location shoots during episode production.

I feel like other people on KZread have covered this topic in a way less salacious way. Important thing to remember here is that a studio shouldn’t be able to force you to take hormones that could destroy your fertility because of censorship laws.
