One of the funniest stories I've ever heard was about him. Supposedly, he was drunk, and lying in the middle of the road (in Ireland). A cop stopped and asked him what he was doing, then Harris said, "The world is spinning, I'm waiting for my house to go by." I laugh every time I remember this. 🤣

I thought Harris was at least 10 years older when he passed. Same as Richard Burton or Peter O'Toole. I enjoyed their legendary work, and still do. Rest in Peace, hellraisers. There's nobody like you today.

The best quote I heard from Richard Harris, he was asked why did he drink so much, his reply was I am trying to find a drink I dont like.

It would be nice if you even once credited your sources. About eight of your stories come from interviews I did or my book, Richard Harris: Raising Hell and Reaching for Heaven, which will give people an infinitely more substantial insight into the man than this, sadly, superficial tabloid skim over his life. It might help to get a less tedious narrator, also.

Richard Harris+ booze. = trouble. Mel Gibson + booze = trouble. The resulting shouting etc is remarkably similiar

Not having the perfect childhood doesn't give a person the right to treat others badly. Great actor but...

He's the best kept secret. He likes it when folks say that.
