@Long Nguyen Booster and the JLI were the first people to fight it and when all of them were getting their asses beat, he referred to it as a Doomsday. It's nothing that crazy to be shocked about.

I love his appearances in Batman the brave and the bold which is a really underrated show. It was a way to show off smaller lesser known DC heroes in a fun 60s batman type way and it was hilarious!

Yeah, that show was really weird. It also had the best depiction of Blue Beetle. You wouldn't think Batman would be the least interesting part of a Batman show

Batman understands Booster and that's all he needs.

Booster Gold in the JLU animated series was great. I think that's the first time I was introduced to the character. I would love to see an animated series or mini series with just Booster and Beetle.

That's why I love Guy Gardner. I don't condone his actions, but he makes any team or situation he's in far more interesting.

Drake if you think about it.. He is the Super Hero that hides amongst Super Heroes. He saves the universe, but no one knows as he hides that indenity as the scumbag hero. The character development of Booster Gold is kinda like Johnny Cage. Had a great brand, high fame but wanted to show fame and glory to their own needs -> Becoming mature and grown up along with some increased already-badassery.

first comic book I ever read was a Blue Beetle comic featuring Booster Gold. They're still my favorite DC characters to this day.

I actually first heard of booster gold through batman the brave and the bold as a kid. That show introduced a lot of characters I never heard of. People say it's too campy or stupid but it was a great way of introducing old under rated characters to younger viewers or readers.

With the announcement of DC's new lineup, I'd love to see Booster Gold as a founding member of the Justice League in place of Green Lantern.

I read the Geoff johns booster gold graphic novels. I stoped after reading vol.2 since Geoff was no longer writing it and I loved how he ended vol. 2. It was the first time a comic made me almost cry. When ever I am feeling down or feel like I don't matter I reread the ending and think about the theme of booster gold and then feel better. Things we do to help others that feel insignificant can change the whole world even if it doesn't feel like it.

Justice League International--which began with Giffen and DeMatteis--was my favorite Justice League story.

I wish Booster would get a new mini but focus on old Booster, Time Master Booster. I want too see the creation of the Vanishing Point and so ..much ..more. xD

Booster needs a movie.

Booster Gold IMO is like the DC answer to deadpool

Booster Gold deserves more respect. He fought valiantly against Doomsday for as long as he could while Wonder Woman was nowhere to be found.

I came to know of this character through animated TV shows and comics but wouldn't have known of Skeets if not for his appearances in Lego Batman 3 and Lego DC Super-Villains.

I could also geek out about Booster all day long, all of my friends have gotten an at least 10 minute Booster rant (with a lot of JLI stuff and Ted thrown in because dang I love Ted too,, and then I start talking about Jaime...etc)

he's one of my favorite dc (maybe in general even in marvel) heroes. I feel he is more relateable. He needed money to help his mom, made a bad choice and paid the price. plus come on....if we had super powers....we would try and be famous while saving the world. I have his debut issue that I found in a 50 cent bargain bin years ago. now its worth anywhere from $50-$100 depending on if its graded or if it has barcode or not

Showed this to my BG friend and he loved it. But the real question is when are you going to talk about Blue Bettle?

Hi Drake. I love all of your videos and Booster Gold is one of my favorite characters as well. I would like to recommend the anime Tiger & Bunny. It's a good superhero show. It's a lot like your American comic book hero. I suggest watching the first 3 episodes of the show and then the 1st movie before continuing with the rest of the series. The reason I suggest it is because most of the characters are in the superhero business for the money and fame the way Booster Gold is.
