Keep your head up Birmingham City fans I’ve been to 3 Major Cup finals with Sheffield Wednesday beating Man United in 1991 to win the league cup Then we came 3rd in 1992 qualifying for Europe then 1993 SWFC got to both Major Cup finals in the same season against Arsenal From 1984-2000 we was always in the Top tier apart from 91 but came straight back up & won the league cup Then Relegation in the year 2000 from the premier league since then we haven’t been back & we’ve been relegated to League One 3 times since last one was because of our chairman breaking FFP Rules Then seeing Sheffield United over take us in the league table when SWFC was always the best team in Sheffield Very bad miss management Have cost us our ticket prices are the most expensive in the league but we still go no matter what It took us 2 seasons to get out of league one but if you don’t get out of it within 3 years you could be stuck down there for a while It’s not a easy league to get out of But you have good owners so it’s not the end of the world for you as having good owners is half the battle All the Best going forward we are so lucky to have Danny Rohl & if our chairman backs him he could be the man to get us back to the Premier League Sheffield is Englands 3rd largest city by way of size & 4th largest by way of Population Good luck from Sheffield-Sheffield Wednesday Fan 🔥💯👏👏😂💙👍👊 Keep your chin up BCFC👍

You’re right fellas, I’m 56 and baring a few successes and being lucky enough to see TF play when I was a kid, it’s been grim! KRO should be ‘There’ll be Sorrows and more sorrows to’ ! Hopefully the future is brighter with Mr Wagner bless him. I really do believe in him and his vision. Lessons will be learned I’ve got no doubt about that.

I am still livid about the sacking of JE,I know he had come off a poor run prior to the wins over Huddersfield & WBA but he was without both full backs and Dembele during that run ,they returned and so did the results .Also I thought the new owners had looked at the history of the team and they not notice exactly the same thing happened when they sacked Rowett and brought in Zola

Good podcast Guys 👍 For me reasons we went down are in no particular order Sacking Eustace Bringing in Rooney trying to play a style of football under Rooney players respectfully can't do, if something isn't broken don't try to fix it. Players being too inconsistent we played well against the big teams and the bottom teams we should beat we just fell to pieces. No leaders not enough fight. Mowbray getting ill think he would have kept us up. Things going on behind the scenes players falling out each other with the manager and Sanderson getting drunk. We need to come back up straight away and feel we will with ffp being relaxed Wagner will spend big go after championship players and players that are good in USA Asia I've heard we looking and bring in prem players on loan we looking I've heard Imagine Stansfield in again he'd love it depends on Fulham but never say never mate. I'm effing furious, who at the club thought it a good idea to let so many contracts run down at the same time. This is why the players had no fight, cos they knew they were all going. But even then we might have got away with it but Rooney decided to tell the players they weren't good enough and talk about strengthening in the transfer window every week. Unlike Eustace Rooney didn't have the common sense to get the players onside until he could bring in come quality. Yes Rooney was shite, he's not a coach, tactician or a motivator, but he didn't have the brain cells to keep his mouth shut. Mowbray had better come back or else the temporary sick leave was just a smoke screen to get Venus the job full time. I like Rowlett but we should of gone all out for 3 points at Rotherham, you can't ask for a better opportunity than playing the side at the bottom of the league.

Eustace mentioned a No Excuse mentally it worked. Rooney mentioned with the owners No Fear football so the players lost respect for the owners for getting on board with Eustace in return for not getting it on with Rooney and respect had gone i felt we would struggle from ocober we was up against it ,the dressing room was lost and heads gone for which we never recovered,bring the kids through more with experience and fresh battlers leaders etc ,it will be tougher than we think ,we need a good start and maintain it KRO 💙🔵

We tried changing the style of football from a counter attacking formation to a high press pass out from the back style that has been made the norm since pep. The idea being, you can pass a ball quicker than you can run with the ball. Its old style vs new style and i completely understand why they went down that route. They will do it again too as its proven if done right. TM's style is a bit of both so a mean even between what the board want and what fans want.

Relegation impact is a slow burner. Relegation to League 1 is a sickener. The fixtures release are depressing. The fact you are in the Papa John's trophy or whatever it's now called is awful. Having to be in the 1st Round of the FA Cup is sobering. Being the major scalp in the division is a pain. You're everybody's cup final. And at a time when the Championship is getting major tv investment you are on the fringe looking forward to Wrexham or Mansfield. Step 1 is to realise it is not going to be easy getting out of League 1. Step 2 is sticking with your team. Step 3 is ignore your rival's taunts. You will be back....sometime.😢

Jay and Tom we were crying out for a striker but they bought burke in waste of space. Eustace was a players manager he new how to get the best out of the team. You need players to be leaders to set the example . Some of the players were not doing it not acceptable.

We have to try and look at this as positive as possible, we’ve got to clear the decks of possibly 15 players so there’s going to be a hell of a rebuilding job this summer. There’s going to be less constraints on us in L1 as there would be in the championship, it could work out something like 1 step back for 10 forward?

Gary Cook is doing a great job. It wasn’t just down to him to bring in Rooney. It was a collective decision. So you can’t blame him for that. so so many different Managers with so many different styles different training programs the players didn’t know whether they was coming or going. Unfortunately a lot of them are far too lightweight for the league one so we will need to get some big strung no nonsense style players into the squad to create some balance.

We went down because this team were useless ! Different type of players needed now , tough midfielders that won’t be bullied , no nonsense defenders and quick tall strikers that no where the net is . Oh and apparantly players that are prepared to work hard in training as well as games !

Talking about reasons for going down ,we were 2 up in 3 games this season and did not win any of them

Our biggest problem is that we may only be getting 200 away tickets to several grounds as they are so small

Blues fans we’ve got to realise, as much as I love eustace we were never cruising in 6th place, the likes of Leeds and such were just warming up, we’d got a few lucky results against Leeds, last minute winner against Plymouth, even the Penalty against the baggies, had we not got that penalty awarded I feel it would have been a different game, the long and short of it is these players were never good enough, lacked in effort, composure, decision making and most of all courage, bar a couple I never want to see any of them in a blues shirt again, kro 👍🏻

You go back and look at barry Frys teams not the best team in the land but did they fight and give there all daish Johnson johnathan hunt shearer domingues characters look at some of those videos and taking 40.000to Wembley and a manager running up and the line and he had 3 heartaches never a dull moment

I disagree that the blame lies with Rooney. It firmly lies with Gary Cook for me. He got the commercial side of things confused with the playing side. I’m annoyed with him because he took an unnecessary gamble and he should have know better. That said it’s done now and if it wasn’t for Cook we wouldn’t have the fantastic owners we’ve got, so we just have to look forward now.

Tommy is correct there is a plethora of factors contributing to relegation. But, ultimately there is one common denominator and that is Garry Cook. He should resign

The only evidence (so far) Blues fans have re Wagner’s actual ability is that on his watch Blues got relegated.

as of right now Birmingham are 28th most successful club in England and no League One team is above us on that table we are not League 1 level at all its going to be an easy season 24/25

It was a culmination of things that got us relegated, it started with the sacking of Eustace and employing Rooney, he had no personal skills whatsoever, brilliant player awful manager, Mowbray came in and steadied the ship a bit but then circumstances meant he had to step away, everything went against this season but with Wagner there we will bounce back, trust the process KRO 💙🤍💙
