I'll never forget that, thus i'm gutted for blues fans. You will come back and the city is better have 2 top flights teams. UTV and dont be too down, you need this to rebuild....

Great Vlogs mate, I go to the games but it’s also good to reflect watching yours and Davos videos throughout the season. League 1 here we come … but we will still carryon supporting the team and hopefully this time next year we are talking about our return to the championship. KRO

From a Blackburn fan, pretty much exact same situation as you in 2017. Went down on 51 points and lost out on goal difference to forest. I remember promotion from league 1 and that whole season, with so much more fondness and happy memories than the mid table champ finishes all these seasons later. You'll have players to remember for decades to come and new legends of the club, winning most games along the way. Should you bounce back straight away I'm sure you wont mind it at all, despite the bigger aims you want to achieve.

Agree with this - coming from a saints fan when we were in L1 2009-2011. Cherish the team and players from L1 more than a lot of the ones from in the prem.

To sack eustace when the team were reasonably stable was a joke and to put Rooney in charge was a bad idea from day one and I feel for the fans but have no sympathy for the owners who are the architects of their own downfall

Another brilliantly made and put together video. Professionally done and shows your passion for the club. I still can't quite believe what's happened. I think we all know the mistakes that were made that have contributed to us getting relegated. It's a massive summer ahead now. There is so much work that needs to be done. Made all the more difficult now we're a League One club. Of course, some decisions were and are still easy to make regardless of our league status. The scenes at the end of the game were embarrassing and sadly a small minority let the fans down. The stewards didn't cover themselves in glory either, so that's an area that needs attention, although I don't want to see that sort of thing happen again. It's hard to think about all the optimism at the start of the season and look at where we've ended up. You couldn't have made this season up. Well.... 2024/25 is going to be one hell of an interesting ride. I just hope we can bounce back at the first time of asking. Have a great summer. KRO 💙

As a Villa fan I came here expecting to laugh at Birmingham's misfortune. Left feeling the urge to leave a comment as the realisation sank in that such a massive club has ended up somewhere it shouldn't be through sheer ownership incompetence. I read up on what happened regarding being 6th, then the terrible management changes that caused all of this. Reminds me a little of when we had the crazy Chinese owner who hadn't a clue how to run a club. The midlands is a hub of footballing talent, we proudly have some excellent teams within our wider catchment area, Birmingham going down is a sad day for the region. I hope you rebuild and bounce back quickly.

(Villa fan ).....of all the scenarios possible today this is the one I thought most unlikely. Very cruel to win and go down. Although i remember well how you guys celebrated our relegation I'm not going to take a cheap shot. You seem like a very loyal fan who puts his money where his mouth is, for you I'm sorry you have to go through this, its an emotional roller-coaster. When the Villa are doing so well too. A rebuild is a must. We got very lucky with our new owners and although stevie g was a mistake Unai is tremendous. You guy's need some of this luck. The right people in the right positions. Theres little point discussing bad decisions made. Next season the club will need your support more ever. After decades if under achieving i really feel your club owes you, for your loyally. Fair play mate. It's bloody difficult, it really is. You've got a right in recent years where we haven't. Next season's going to be challenging. Hoping we come straight back up else the club is going nowhere again. A sad day but I and everyone else is used to it by now. We're all numb to it all. Pretty much since that last Blues - Villa game, we've all been a shadow of ourselves. We're lost so I really hope we can stop feeling sorry for ourselves and get back into a position where we could play each other again. Playing you lot means something and today was one of the first games in a long time that meant something. The club owe it to us and we as a family spend an awful lot travelling home and away without any of the reward. For Villa it's probably a bit more expensive but finishing 4th and making a European semi-final... Not even competition. Usually I'd say all the best for the season but I just can't 😂 But cheers for the comment though. Always appreciate a well constructed point 👍

It happened to Saints around 15 years ago. We started our first League One season with minus 10 points so it could be worse for you! We just missed out on the play offs in the first season, but then were promoted through League One in our second season and then The Championship the following season before spending over 10 years back in The Prem. Some of those League One away days were the best especially Plymouth away when we pretty much secured promotion. It’s not all doom and gloom. Chin up.

It’ll sting for about five minutes, then the clear out starts, & the recruitment begins, then the season ticket prices come out, followed by the fixtures & before you know it the quest for the top six begins. Thanks for the vlogs this season & roll on August & as ever KRO ✊🏼

Rotherham fan, amazing vlog as always guys! I'm absolutely gutted for Blues. I've seen Rotherham get relegated numerous times, it's a horrible feeling. But in the long run, I think Birmingham will be absolutely fine, at least you're going into League One with competent ownership that is willing to invest. 29 months ago I was supporting a poor, mid-table, League One team with no hope of ever achieving anything. Today we were promoted to the Premier League with largely the same players. So you can do it and you'll win a lot more games next season. It's fun beating teams 6-0. You had a big crowd today too.

Its a nightmare that league. You could be down there a while

I've witnessed four relegations for my team Argyle over the years. It hurts, but I've usually forgotten about it by the first game of the following season. We bounced back up in one season from L2 a few years ago. It wasnt easy as we were seen as a scalp at the time due to our size, the smaller teams raised their game against us. You should promote at the first time, but it will not be simple as you will be seen as a cup final for most teams down there. E.t.a, please smash Exeter for us next season 👌

Yes, the different managers did not help but 100% it's down to the players. Some couldn't even pass the ball straight. Far too long blues have put up with seriously poor players and performances. We were given the chance to play the two bottom teams to stay up and our players did not perform !! We need to re-build with forward passing, attacking footballers.

Owls fan here. Awful day for your team...as a footie fan, you go through desperate lows and fantastic highs. No doubt you'll be full of optimism at the beginning of next season..that blind faith we all cling to!

As a Wednesdayite who spent over a decade in the West Mids its sad to see Blues go down. Seen more games at St Andrews than any other ground bar Hillsborough. Hope you're soon back up, but getting out of League One is hard and gets financially more punishing every year.

I'd say it's getting worse to be honest. Standard of football this season has been very poor and I think it's tight because of that. League One will still be tricky despite us being one of the bigger clubs down there. Teams are on the rise though like Wrexham and Stockport. They'll certainly be no push overs. Really hope we can bounce back straight away. Club's going nowhere if we can't...

Today has been tough to take,really tough. We came down again from Wigan today to watch the Blues….. I typing and I’m still a bit emotional. I thought we were done after Cardiff and I expected us to go down today. I’ve been here before and it’s shit …….just shit. Fans were brilliant today but these players (apart from Jay Stansfiekd ) can all fuck off. 30 years ago I watched us go down at tranmere and I lived it again today. I had a tear in my eye when I left but I’ll be back next season……. I’m just sad at the moment and the train journey back was shit. Up the BLUES

I’m not just saying this but Sheffield Wednesday definitely deserves to stay up they are a massive club with very loyal fans they have at Hillsborough stadium & to Say haven’t been in Premier League for almost 24 Long seasons they deserve lots more as for me They have the Best most loyalty fanbase in England There ticket prices are also the most expensive in the league They are sky high & our chairman Chansiri doesn’t help sometimes even Simon Jodan said if he was going to Buy a football club in England it would definitely be Sheffield Wednesday He doesn’t understand why they have been so very poor for so long Well I do & it’s very simple they have been mismanaged for a very long time at SWFC but They have a great very loyal fanbase I can remember Sheffield Wednesday being one of the best & biggest clubs in England in the early 1990s we got to the league cup final beating man united in 91 then they came 3rd in 92 qualify for Europe we got Eric Cantor that season but T/F our Manager wanted to see him play on Grass Nightmare then he went to Leeds United then they Won the league we came in 3rd then season after we got to BOTH Major Cup Finals in the same season against Arsenal We was in the TOP TIER from 1984-2000 apart from 91 but we came straight back up and Won the league cup Sheffield is Englands 4th largest city by way of population & the 3rd Largest city by way of Size Sheffield is the birthplace of football & it’s a huge BOXING 🥊 City SWFC Keep your chin up Birmingham City 💙👍👊
