Sorry to comment twice but any complaints about bugs, the game engine etc are pointless. NetEase code the game & WG license it from them. NetEase have zero compulsion to fix things if they are still making money through licensing outside of China & by direct sales in China. WG will continue to license the game from NetEase, bugs & all, as long as players keep spending money on the game. It's a well worn point by now but still pertinent:The ONLY way to affect change is by stopping buying things ingame. Do that & investors want to know why & how the gravy train can be restarted. Keeping on spending & ergo giving a pseudo sense of contentment, means that nothing will ever change. The future of the game is in the players hands.

Tokyo drifting bots is THE worst thing about the game. Even at close range, bots move like UAPs, unnatural. We don’t have insane maneuverability, take it away from the bots. WGing, get control of ur creation.

You are right about war thunder mobile naval battles. I have been playing the living shit out of it and was so suprised at how good it is. I also find it funny that the mobile naval battles on WT are better than the pc version by FAR. Cant wait to see it grow.

The Lag torps probably are a combination of a few things. Hit boxes, player connections, server lag. I shrug off the lag torp since I know not everyone is playing with great Wi-Fi and their mobile network isn’t great. Since I’ve been playing mobile games for 10 years plus, I know I will have to deal with certain lag issues.

I just think players are allowed to progress too quickly. At tier 10 there shouldn't be any battleships exploring the edge of the map in shima infested waters.

Honestly, what's crazy about playing CV is the massive skill gulf between players. Probably 80% of the CV players I run into have no idea what they're doing. They run their fighters straight across the map and get the wing annihilated and then my own fighters are free to shoot down their other squadrons. Even if I play a Russian CV, they barely manage their fighters and I'm given free reign to nuke ships at will. It's crazy.

That's the worst thing, they should make it required to be lvl 50 to play a cv......

The lag torps seem to be an issue of three things: 1. Latency 2. Hitboxes 3. Sync issues Latency is a common cause for this, I think it causes issue with the timing (sync) and therefore dispositions the torps, we did some training room testing and we noticed that the torps appear to be at a different location depending on which team you are on. Hit-boxes are pretty self explanatory, and I dont think it is a main cause of the issues. If they hit me up I’d be glad to fix their code, I could get it done in less than a week. Side note: the gold amount total is inaccurate, I’ve bought millions and it doesn’t show I’ve bought more than 150k

Totally agree with you. Bots, ridiculous…. The movements of bots (seen bot bb’s do 3 360 in a row, going trough islands, while shooting accurately at you) the beyond stupid difference of power between them ( Baltimores that avoid every shells while hitting all of theirs!). CV’s… you’re right, they are part of the game, people choose to play em, its not a cheat… but imo, cv’s are just another game in the game. The good cv players can dominate like no other ships can and that in itself is broken. Match making makes 75% of games a waste of my time. I don’t mind losing but when you know from start that there is zero chances of winning… makes for a very boring 7 mins. War Gaming will never fix this thing. The priority is definitely on gimmicks (frames anyone? Beach toys? ). Sad stuff, but i moved on.

Bots are a necessary evil, but the way they are implemented is bizarre - sometimes they’re dumb as fk, sometimes they’re ninja bots that do 90+k damage while dodging torps and shells like a breakdancer and win MVP. Then there’s mixed tier games with majority bots when on one’s side the bots are all higher tier and on the other lower tier. And like you say, CV bots don’t make sense at all. So yeah… though for me it’s not just about bots but the matchmaking in general I find frustrating. I play mainly randoms, and all too often when I look at a roster at the start of the match you can already tell whether you’ll win or loose. So many times I’ve had mixed tier matchmaking where one side has all tier 10s (or all but one) and the other side has 6 tier 9s and a t10. Or one side has all legendary tier players in major fleets, while the other has mainly ppl with no fleet and have mid tier rankings - and that’s without anyone in teams. And the list goes on. Whether you’re on the side that the matchmaking skewed to win or not, I don’t actually enjoy either side. I’d much rather have a close game where I loose than win by a landslide against complete potatoes. And frankly it seems almost as if the matchmaking is skewed to give these unbalanced teams because it happens more often than not. And while I appreciate that designing a matchmaking algo is not easy, there should be some pretty simple backstops. Like don’t stick all t10s on one side and mostly t9 on the other - make the split relatively equal. Don’t stick all legendary tier players with good win rates on one side. And stop mixed tier teams - there is no excuse for CV anchoring, and any other mixed tier teams are usually mistakes by noobs who don’t get they might end up facing t8’s in a t6 if they mix with a t7… just restrict ships in a team to be all of the same tier. And on gambling crates, I agree - I avoid then with only a few exceptions. When they used to do the 1+1 crate offers I used to get those (been lucky enough to get a few very good ships that way, including Black Rep and Incomparable), but since they stopped doing those I have only got one ship using crates and refuse to do any more.

You really nailed this video. I joined blitz after leaving PC during all the shit that was going down. Like you I fell in love with this game, I loved it's arcade feel and it was something you could get out quickly at anytime to play (instead of having to spend 10 minutes to just get into like PC). Since then I have found myself playing this game less and less for all the reasons mentioned in this video. The most prevalent for me was monetisation. I was free to play until 2 years ago, but I eventually bought my first premium because I wanted to have a much strong ship like everyone else. This ship is now my 4th highest damage ship. Other than vampire II I have only bought ships in bundles and if there was more variety in bundles I would spend much more money on this game. However, the ships I want are older and they don't rerun them. The other annoying thing is the bugs in this game, especially ghost shelling and magnetic torps. This is due to the bad server connection down under, that increases the frequency of these bugs, even on Asia. I'm definitely excited for the variety of content, especially the war thunder (plz play PC). It might also be good if you come back and make some content on Minecraft (I've asked Hiromi in the past and he's cool with it). The realm is a bit dead, and making content for it could bring some more people, and also you bring so much life to it! These long videos don't normally keep me engaged, but this one did because it's an overall great video that really connects with me. Good job! 👍♥

Actually, I had a look at War Thunder’s naval game to check it out - graphically it’s by far better, but there’s a lot of gameplay things that are harder to get used to. For example, being used to leading shots on moving targets in blitz, it was a bit surprised to discover that war thunder automatically adjusts for the current course and speed, and makes it a bit difficult to hit targets that are manoeuvring. Maybe it’s just a setting issue, but there are some gameplay things that they have implemented that feel a lot less natural…

It's very different, but the gameplay loop is the same. I am at tier 18 now and the game feels more and more like a polished wowsb, but it's not as fun as wowsb

@@BobLyn I’ve played it a bit more as well, though not quite as far as you - I’ve gotten more used to it, and it can certainly be fun. Subs are a cancer though, I played with the German type VII and in my first game I was left alone against three enemies and managed to sink all three pretty easily. Way OP a ship class, as bad as CVs in WoWs Blitz imho, or even worse.

Even though I have a cv, I still hate them. Wargaming should just make the cv mechanics similar to how it is on pc, or just let us control aa. Also, I would love to see enlisted.

The issue with Blitz is that we can't compare it to PC because COD mobile still does crate & sweep gambling Overwatch before the 2nd came out & and took over the 1st. The original had gambling boxes. 2nd is all Bundles So the thing I find is that Mobile games are purposely getting people into gambling instead of doing it like PC & paying a little more, but Guranteed because it is a bundle In Wows Legends, they have all Bundles expensive ofc but with a time limit and the slight odd gambling crates

Bro I get your points. Honestly I do. However as pointed out blitz is licensed. There is no way for the game managers to do stuff that you're pointing out. I call them game managers cos that's what they are. They are not developers. They license the game and manage it. However 90% of mobile games have issues. And i have been playing mobile games for a long time. I wish you luck and maybe there's a god out there that has heard your points and fix them But I don't hold out any hope

About bots - match making time will be MUCH longer without bots - i am playing on EU server mostly in late evening hours. And in queue are 20 - 30 players - all tiers. To arrange a battle 7vs7 need 14 ppl out of 30 - probability to arrange a fair game from this pool is near zero. And with your suggest of "no-bot allowed" button option. Its an option - from these 25 ppl will half of these will not use this option. Will you accept matchmaking time about 5 - 10 min for 7 min battle time? Seriously doubt. In my humble opinion - better crazy yolo bots then driving away bots. Better bots battle then looking at matchmaking timer on screen only and waiting if some other players accidentally logs in to improve my queue time

As someone who knows a bit about game development I can pretty comfortally say that this in certain points is held together with ductape and things wg can do would have been a death sentence for other games. These bugs I think are mostly desync bugs. To explain it in the simplest way I can put it is that all players are constantly sending data to the server and the server controls everything but through pour coding or a server overload (wg wants to use as few servers as possible bc servers cost a lot of money) you as a player can see and do stuff like shooting but the server doesnt reconize your actions and simply doesn‘t allow you to deal dmg. On the other side if you dodged for example torps but on the server side you took a hit and because everything is determent by the server you take dmg.

As an American we have over 20 CV’s… the “11” number that’s frequently touted is what we call a CV, or super carrier. The rest of them we call something else.,. But for every other navy in the world it would be a fleet CV.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I with your comments and concerns about WG. The matchmaking definitely is broken and uneven. The bots hydroglide, pass through islands and even through ships. Its just plain nuts that the developers are lazy and refused to listen to suggestions to improve the gaming experience.

The game could be a lot better with all the money everyone spent on it... I'll try to list the things that hurt me the most in Blitz. First of all, this happened to me again this month when I bought the blitz pass, it is deducted from my bank account except that in the game I don't have it.. and when I click on "buy" it game tells me that I already have this item... Most of the time I am reimbursed a month later because yes, this is not the first time that this has happened to me. Then the crates which are impossible to have a premium ship. We need ship + camouflage bundle and potentially the legendary or epic commander to go with it. Matchmaking still unbalanced. And I noticed that at tier 10 level we always play on the same 3 or 4 maps... there are some that we don't see at all. That's all I have to say, I'm sad about it all but what I like I've really appreciated it from the start grrr

I always loved ships tbh. I had played the best warship game of all the times and I recommend you to try and check. It is a PS2 game called "Naval Ops: Warship Gunner" and if you can get the Naval Ops 2, you will sure be passionated. There you can create your own ship putting on it all what you want (yeah you can just put things on the blueprint and then later play with THAT SHIP YOU DID). About WoWB I started playing it on Oct 2023 and bro, loved the game until I saw that all in the game is a gamble. You gamble to evolve ships (that shit of blueprints), you gamble to get citadels, you gamble to get commanders, you gamble to get ships. I played a MMOJRPG and that shit was just a Gacha game but there you at least were able to get something good. The chances to get something good was low (like 0.3%) but you had simply 30% fullfiled with these 0.3% drop rate itens. In other hand, WoWB boxes have just 1 or 2 good itens that you have a ridiculous chance of 1/500, 1/1000 or even 1/2000 chance of getting the great price and well, this is absolute crap.

Lately the lag and all the issues mostly known are old I started playing in 2019 till now but lasts times what I feell in game is basically not running as it have to.. Dunno if server migration or new issues on the run but yes not running...

Cool vid Bob, I feel that you could have carried on the theme for a couple of hours😂😂e.g tier 10 and premium ship xp being next to useless!! I would need a CC account to convert my xp (30million). It would be great if tier10 ship xp counted towards legendary modules without having to use gold to convert it. At its heart this is a really good game but the niggles and bugs are starting to outweigh the pleasure. 😢

Great video. One thing is if u revamp the game and change systems.U may lose players. If ur a phone player u may need a new phone and phones cost too much for a new one. So there is improvements u can do,that wont force people to do that or force them out

Nice Video Bob. Like you said the game feels bland and the main reason imo is the reward system. I am free to play player and I want the game to be supportive to the players when progressing. As an example, tech tree lines are hard and long to grind and I haven’t seen any updates or changes to make it easier to grind for. Another problem is game chat is outdated ( how can someone tell other players to retreat if they are in trouble? ). Some time ago we had challenges to complete to get free premium ships and currently we don’t receive any. So these are my highlights on which wg may consider on to improve the experience. Thanks.

As a player of Blitz for SiX Years as well as WoWs PC , of the two , Blitz has done nothing but improve and expand . Example , early on at max BB main gun range , the red team ship would levitate above the water , that’s a distant memory . Overall the core gameplay and Fun Factor is the same with more fun and being much more refined now . Of course Blitz retained top down RTS style CV even though PC reworked it and everyone over there longs for top down . BliTZ is all about tha blitz , high impact , short action pact battles with the ViBE of historic naval combat on a mobile device . BliTZ was never intended nor will it be a one to one copy of WoWs PC . The PC version is friggin nuts aka NaSTY on a proper rig , monitor with sound system . BLiTZ compresses it all into a format that invites Cpts from the when life allows to the die hard all day gamer regardless . Noting : even though WoWs PC is flippin rad , we can all go listen with millions of other faithful tuning in to hear flamu make a profession out of very well thought out yet non stop moaning and whining . It’s a game folks , it is what it is and not what it isn’t . BLiTZ is all about in your face , violence of action , Kombat , yeah , a naval version of Mortal Kombat . So get off the whambulance , go blow s--- up , we need you in the naval arena of combat , it’s serious out there.

Some good people in blitz community but alot are trolls toxic wanna be know it alls my opinion on the bugs is the islands and the spotting bug

One this that is pissing me off is their recent update where secondaries won't shoot at targets behind islands. This feature wau useful in a number of ways before they removed it. - Although not intentional it actually helped you pay attention to targets behind islands if you were fighting multiple ships. -Secondly, imagine there is a ship behind a small/short island, you can reach it with your main and secondary guns but auto secondaries won't shoot for whichever reason. -And lastly now they will start shooting only if target went away from the island completely which gives them more time to escape or fire torpedoes whereas before they would get hit as soon as they peak. In my opinion they should bring this back. Another example is the fact that you can no longer see ships that are on fire in the smoke, which in my opinion is not the brightest change.

The monetization bothers me heavily. The prices are whack. Missouri with the AA camo is $80 usd. It’s a great ship, not $80 great though. More people would buy it for less. I just dropped $100 gold gambling for Incomp. I feel as if you spend $100 it should be guaranteed. That’s a lot of money for a pixel ship. That’s way to much. I even heard horror stories of people dropping $500+ on trying to get ships and not getting them. That’s just sickening IMO. The special offer they do for the BP once in a while is also a slap in the face. I regularly support WG and they give a great offer to someone who doesn’t and tell me “hey thanks for being a loyal customer, go eff yourself pay full price” It really makes me want to stop spending money on this game.
