Next, I will find a market gap to launch a product. If there is a problem then there is a market gap. And I will analyze the target customer group's problem. After that, I will launch a product to fulfill the customer's needs. The problem will be solved and money will come.🙂

Option1: Nike v. Addi If I was the CEO, I'd follow the other android smartphone like Samsung. I'll follow their trend like mainly changing the OS to android with BerryUI (this is just a name came to my mind, doesn't exist) skin on. Then I'd do a full redesign & add some unique features that is BlackBerry (for an ex, even though the physical keybord's gone I'll add more customizing & features for the keyboard). I also limit the models to like maximum 5 with expanding the target audience to youngsters to old people...

If I were the ceo of blackberry at that time I would release a smart phone something similar to iphone initially just to retain the market share which has been already captured. This will be achieveable as at that time blackberry had a good brand recognition. With the time I would look for new innovations which will enhance the quality and easiness of smartphones and release several new smartphones after thoroughly understanding the market trend and customer preference.

If I was CEO ,I would try to introduce unique features that apple has not touched like Phone can use as a computer by connecting via blutooth or with a sample device and market it to the professionals

Blackberry had a USP already which was their Phone keyboard, and considerable market share. So Blackberry should have implemented their Blackberry manufacturing continuesly without struggling. Because they had special USP. Then gradually, based on improvement of smart phone market place, Blackberry should have manufactured smart phone with their unic smart keyboard. Unic smart keyboard should be consisted with many new features like languages faclities, colour plates, pictures etc. Because, at that time Blackberry had USP for their keyboard. They could get this opportunity for promoting their smart phone. After starting with decline of Blackberry old model, they should have focused to mainly smart phone market without stop manufacturing existing product.
