    Divorce should not be an option unless there is physical abuse and cheating.

    I agree they make it way to easy now days to divorce that's one of the biggest parts of the problem. People should be made to honor those vows. Women are marrying for a come up and want the easy way out to take half without having to work for it. If you wanna break your vows you leave with what you came with. That should be law.

    Bless these rookies on the panel. I’m 20 in happily married and hubby and I find it so hard to listen to newly married couples. It takes work. You have high points and low points. Anyone who thinks marriage is perfect will fail at marriage. You have two people coming together trying to make things works together. Self control is a must in marriage. You can’t be selfish and married at the same time. I’m still learning in mine and will be continuing to learn but what works for hubby and I is that we want to learn together, and grow together. Good luck to all newly married couples. 😊🙏🏽

    Can we talk about black couples that have maintained marriage longevity? This subject in regards to division is getting tired.

    I agree with 90% of what u all said. I just disagree with the Ciara and Russ situation cause I believe that Russ knew what he was getting himself into and knew that Ciara was an entertainer and couldn’t change that about her. I think Russ loves that she can be sexy and not present herself as a h$e, cause that’s something we all know she’s not. Ciara is a very successful and desired black woman, and every man on this planet i don’t care if they have negative opinions about how she dress, will still jump at the opportunity to date her if they knew they had a chance! It’s the same with the woman who married Bolo the entertainer, no one is really getting on the wife for marrying an entertainer like how they do Russ. If they do it’s going to be “ she knew who she married and u cant stop that man from being an entertainer “ but when the woman is the entertainer, we always have to stop the show. That’s not right.

    The reason why people get on Russell Wilson because he’s the star not Ciara. He makes way more money than her and is worth more than her. Most men don’t see her as a prize. Most men sees Ciara as a washed up rap industry pass around who is a baby mama. A lot of men feel he could have done much better than Ciara.

    More platforms like this are SOOO needed. Unfortunately many of us (me included) women are taught and shown how to be good mothers but due to life circumstances, we didn't have examples of how to be a good wife. I am not saying I am a bad wife but I have so much to learn. Thank you for this. I am taking notes!!

    You make an excellent point. But it goes for us men as well. A key reason why so many men are not good husbands or don't want to be married is the fact that most men haven't been in an environment where husbands were around. Therefore men don't know the first thing about being a provider, a protector or a leader.

    Honesty with self is paramount and resolves most of the future struggles. Most people aren’t honest with themselves so how can you expect to be honest with someone else. You can’t. Societal norms cause people to make poor decisions in many instances. You have to be ready….not do something because it’s the “next step”.

I'm in the Midwest Go to any skating rink The pool during the summer Any college campus The loop on a Saturday The riverfront or the downtown strip Or go to any fair in summer at the park There are some pretty, gorgeous and Beautiful women there.. Facially she is not even on my gal level. One of my girls is 50, no make up, bald head. An looks like 5 pts higher than her. Sorry her face is not all that. Average is nicety. If I saw her working at McDonald's or a job where she has to wear a uniform..she would not stand out with most of those sistas, latinas or Asian chicks she work with. She is averaging. • @sg5720

    @sg5720

    7 ай бұрын

    It is NOT masculine. It is the environment that a lot of BW are put in they can’t afford to act like a cute princess. BM don’t provide that environment like other races of men do for the most part. Now I have an amazing BM and been told I am spoiled. Had to take a good look, and step back and realize that the way my hubby is, is the reason other women and men see me as spoiled. He creates a space for me so I can enjoy being a woman and don’t have to be “tough” and worry so much about things. I don’t have to step up, cause he got it. Keep that in mind the next time you want to call BW masculine - I’m sure you single Blk mother was viewed as “masculine” too- I wonder why? 🤔🤨🤦🏽😌
