Love the little touch of Jessie's loss of two health being from seperate things, the first being from bursting through the window, the second being when he hit the ground afterwards.

I like how we started with Walter being the protagonist and trying to defeat Finger and then it suddenly shifted into Jesse trying to survive against the monster Haisenberg. If I have to guess, we're gonna see an interesting perspective of all the usual bad guys being on the good side for once.

kinda like actual breaking bad, in a way. walter starts as the protagonist and hero of the story, however it slowly shifts into a tale of a man with cancer manipulating his student

So the guy Jesse gets rescued by at the end… there’s no way that’s not Gus. The model of the car, the single eye that appears in the dark. Even the simple yet somehow threatening way he says “Get. In.” I’m pretty sure it’s him, and I’m excited to see how he plays into the story

It was a headache... the part where Jesse appears on camera on the left side was actually the final thing I did for the entire animation. Syncing up the jump took a lot of adjustments

Jesse just bursting out of the window and screaming “Bitch!” Is just so funny.

Happy spooktober month! Fun fact, the alternate perspective was necessary because the running footage on the right was actual Gameboy footage. I put an environment and Jesse into a little custom level I made (I added some effects overtop, like the jumping particles and the foreground stuff). BUT, because a Gameboy's resolution is 160x144, I still had all this extra space on the left, so I decided to do the alternate chase perspective. All and all, probably the most 'dense' shot of the entire series.

You can clearly see that the person playing Breaking Boy'd is way more experienced than the person playing garfield gameboy'd. while the person playing garfield completely messed up a lot of the quick time events and barely got any secrets, this person succesfully found all the hints on how to make the secret formula, then they succesfully beat the hide and seek minigame where you hide from finger while slowly getting to the van. afterwards, they succesfully did all the steps to make the formula. and now, they perfectly timed the window jump and then beat the chase right afterwards. this truly goes to show how breaking bad fans are more intelligent than garfield fans. however, if it is the same person playing both games, then you can clearly see that this is the moment they became experienced.

My god, that chase sequence was actually brilliant. I never thought a side scrolling running scene would be so scary, with the obstacles being a gauge of just how fast THE DANGER is. That needs to be in a game.

The split-screen running scene was absolutely bone-chilling and a truly impressive idea, I would definetly play a game like this and enjoy it all the way through, even if most of it were scripted. Magnificient.

This is so cool man I love it. Cant get over how sick the design of the Heisenberg monster is. Also gotta give big credit for you somehow getting the story just like the show. Walter starts as the protagonist and the turns into the antagonist manipulating Jesse, really cool stuff. Also I feel like Gus and a remnant of finger is who picked Jesse up.

I love the completely unprompted “BITCH” at the start

My guess is that's Gus at the end The way every character is just voiced by you kind of does a good job of confusing things there

I like the “gameplay” aspect added into this of the Jesse escaping, along with the health bars and status of “DANGER”, “ESCAPING…”. Makes me really hope this could become an actual game!

I love how the picture of Walter standing In the middle of the screen on the thumbnails slowly devolved into something else over time, maybe next episode it’ll barely look like a face

I wonder if Jesse has to collect the word B-I-T-C-H in the end

I love how it portrays that I started off with Walter and then he became the monster symbolizing how Heisenberg consumed him

I love how before the chase even starts, Jeese has already taken two damage!

the fact this isnt locked to patreon only or that it doesnt take five years for one episode really amazes me, keep up the astonishing work lumpy!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE animation there at the beginning with Jesse jumping out. FANTASTIC. WOW. I can't say it enough. I have replayed that window breaking and Jesse hitting the ground like 15 times.

It actually is sorta real. When Jesse is running it's actual gameboy rom footage (though I added some extra particle effects and foreground stuff in post that a Gameboy wouldn't normally be able to do.) I'm gonna try to put in some authentic stuff here or there!
