"Popular "Christianity" is not Biblical. Biblical Christianity is not popular. The whole reason the focus in Genesis is on the adamic race is because it's the race JESUS would come through which is why Eve was called the mother of all living because she was the start of JESUS' genealogy in which all can live eternally and in which all life comes from. HIS genealogy is even listed in Luke 3. The whole reason GOD saved Noah and his family is because they were the only ones perfect in pedigree, as they did not mix with the fallen angels. It doesn't take a genius to know Asians, blacks, and whites etc, don't come from the same parents, grandparents, etc... to state such is to push evolution. To claim such also accuses GOD of leaving Adam and eve's children with no choice but to commit incest which is a big sin. Clearly cain knew others existed from Genesis 1, which is why he was afraid of everyone who would kill him for murdering his own brother. And which is how he obtained a wife in the land of Nod. Clearly the whole focus of Genesis is on the adamic race because they are the ones who would be the israelites in which CHRIST would come through who would bring salvation unto the whole world (gentiles). Why the qualifier then in Genesis 2:18 "it is not good for the man to be alone and after that statementt it goes right into God creating animals in Gen 2:19 this to my mind implies that Adam was alone so God created animals but none were a suitable companion for Adam sorry just can't do those mental gymnastics

Here's an idea. Chapter one talks about creation of animals and plants and birds OF THE EARTH. Chapter 2 talks about creation of animals and plants OF THE FIELD, or domesticated animals. They even say fowl of the air instead of birds. Chapter 2 creation is all about helpers for man. That's how we get domesticated animals and of course, woman.

The first verse of the book of Genesis introduces the creation account found in Genesis chapter 1 and 2. From Genesis 1:1 to 2:4, the Bible briefly relates the steps that God took in creating the earth and all living things on it, including the first man and woman. After this general outline, the Bible gives a more detailed account of the creation of man and woman.-Genesis 2:7-25 So, the Bible isn’t talking about two different creation accounts!

If you don't believe there was an age before flesh man, then when do you suppose lucofers downfall took place? How do you explain why GOD hated esau while he was still in the womb? How do you explain GOD knowing Jeremiah before he was even conceived? As for noah's flood, how do you explain the kenites (descendants of cain) surviving it if it covered the entire world?

In this video you should have used "Lord God" as the new entity introduced in your research. This will help you understand the different rulers in the bible as there are many.

Scholars agree their is not just plenty of contradictions but also that the two stories use two completely different words for God, Yahweh and Elohim. Their is actually instances of this (duplicate, often contradictory, stories where one uses “Yahweh” while the other uses “Elohim”) happening all throughout the Old Testament. Sometimes the stories are spliced into each other, which is where most of the confusion happens, as you’re reading two versions of the same story at the same time 😅 it’s confusing but once you separate out the “Yahweh” from the “Elohim” you find that in each their is no internal contradictions, but only between the two variations is where they arise. This is all because the Ancient Hebrews did not all agree on which variation of these myths, more accurately which of the two Gods, was the more correct one. This distinction is of course scrubbed in English, but it’s important to understanding what was going on during the writing of the original text.

God made the land and it produced vegetation. but it also says that no vegetation was there because of no rain and the man hadnt worked on it yet. makes sense. same as saying God made you and you had many children. and on the next verse, but you had no children because the woman wasnt there yet. Got it? you still had many children but not on the same day that the account of you having them was given. capiche? or else the writer wouldnt even mention the 2nd creation account to fill in the gaps and clear the possible future misconceptions.

"A good and plausible translation" that wording sounds like a lot of liberty. I suspect that people didn't know which version was true and decided to save both because they assumed that we'd know the answer on the future. If you read it for what it is, it is a contradiction. But if you listen to plausible translations sounds like it's influenced by man. I don't trust people when it comes to the truth of God. Do not lean on your own understanding. That's true for everyone.

Or.....He created mankind and gave them all of the trees to eat from with no restrictions and had them fill the Earth. THEN He created Adam and Eve, gave them the restriction about the Tree of Life and put them in the Garden. When Cain killed Able and was exiled he thought anyone who would find him would kill him. Both he and God knew there were other people on the Earth or that conversation would have been silly. God always had a Chosen People. For a time that was Israel and now some Gentiles have been grafted in. The Bible says Eve is the mother of all Living. Living could be understood as the ones who choose life, to walk in the way of God. Romans 9 bears this out with, "What if God, intending to show His wrath and make His power known, bore with great patience the vessels of His wrath, prepared for destruction? What if He did this to make the riches of His glory known to the vessels of His mercy, whom He prepared in advance for glory- including us, whom He has called not only from the Jews, but also from the Gentiles?"

There is a big difference between Elohim (Genesis 1:27) and Adonai (Genesis 2:7). Elohim is “of” the supreme God that is (Adonai). So in Genesis 1:27 we actually see the fallen creating after their kind and then the Father in Heaven Adonai the Eternal One created Adam as a solution or resolution to bring Christ into the world. The adversary has always been after the genetics and bloodlines the Father created. Clear throughout scripture from cover to cover it’s about the preservation of the Holy Seed of Israel. Please read Genesis using a Hebrew concordance to understand and see for yourself. There is missing context in modern English translations.

“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Hope each person that comes across this researches it! Check out the words H8414 and H922 in Strong’s concordance. It’s the same words used in Isaiah.. we clearly have something deeper going on! Satans are the cause… 🤓 So why does one account say waters the animales are formed out of and the other says, mind you we don’t see this name in genesis 1, but Yahuah/YHWH/LORD God forms the animals out of the ground?? Also the Hebrew words should be looked up because genesis 1 says the earth was without form and void, basically a waste but Yah says in Isaiah that He didn’t create the earth that way… “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬ So if we know Moses wrote the first 5 books, why such big differences?

It's always possible there's a mistake in that regard in the Concordance or maybe we're reading too deep into it. I think it's reading too deep. Languages are very complex with meanings changing all the time and translations always being understood different (hence all the translation versions we see). It's like people accusing God of contradiction when reading the KJV where it says "God created evil" when we know God didn't create it, and "Thou Shalt Not Kill" even though God has killed many in history and our deaths is ultimately decided by him. People ignore the Older English used in that version. The Version that GotQuestions mainly use is the ESV. I personally use the NLT and NIV. It's always possible that "earth was without form and void" is referring to a moment of Day 1 where God was undergoing the process of creation, and it's widely accepted that all living things were made from the dirt as all decompose back to it, and humans got "special treatment" where instead being formed by words, we were hand crafted. Genesis goes in detail of creation where Isaiah 45:18 is just a general "I have made this world and this is why, for I am God."

  • @Avendale

    @Avendale

The earth was "without form and void" because the act of creation was not yet completed. Our King James Bibles translate Genesis 1:1 as follows: "In the beginning God *created* the heaven and the earth" The word "created" is the Hebrew verb _bara_ which means "to create" However, this verb _bara_ is in the Hebrew Qal stem, which is the equivalent of our English "present tense" The KJV translators have incorrectly placed this verb in the past tense (created) So the accurate and proper translation of Genesis 1:1 would be: "In the beginning, God is *creating* the heaven and the earth" The process of creation was still underway, it was not yet completed This is why the earth was "without form and void" in Genesis 1:2

I used to think it took 6000 years for creation, but a thought came into my mind while watching this video. It is written in John 1:1( I am quoting from the Amplified Version.) In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. Now when Christ walked the earth it is written in Matthew 14:13-21 how Christ feed 5000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish! vs 17. All in one day! Not 10000 years. So i think creation was the biggist cosmic miracle of all and one day those who are with the Lord will see the second...The New Heaven and New Earth. Is there anything that is too impossible for the Lord Almighty?

Adam never lived to 1000 years old, nor anyone else. His penalty along with others for sin is death, which explains why no one ever lived to 1000 years of age. Methuselah came close but didn't. 2 Peter 3:8 says 1 of GOD'S days is 1000 years. Surely HE could do it in 1 of our days but for that reason of no one living to 1000 years old makes me think it was literally 1000 years per day.

Gen 1-animals and then man and woman together. Gen 2-man, animals, woman. God doesn't make mistakes. You are misinterpreting this because you don't want to believe what it says. If you read it open-mindedly, it opens up the scriptures.

Popular "Christianity" is not Biblical. It's videos like this which cause so many to turn away from the faith.

I totally disagree with this, the first creation of people could eat as they please, and when he created Adam and Eve they could eat or everything except from the tree of life and death and good and evil, explain Genesis 1:2 , God didn't create the Earth like that, go to Isaiah 45:18, and Read.

I disagree with this totally, why would God created two differen't group of people in the beginning of the Bible, then in Genesis 1:2 the first flood, we know God didn't create it like that, look at Isaiah 45:18, it say God didn't create it that way, Amen.

Genesis 1&2 is a BRIEF OUTLINE of ALL of the Events leading to the Creation of the Perfect Heaven. Most of the rest of the Bible refers to the present 6th Day, but ALL of the Bible refers to the events of God's 6 Creative Days. That's why we are taken back to the 3rd Day at Gen 2:4. The narrative is adding details to the events listed in Gen 1. Both accounts Gen 1 & 2 agree totally and in detail. Since God sees the end from the beginning, Isa 46:10 He wrote the complete HISTORY of His Seven Days in the first 34 verses of Genesis. At Gen 2:4 the narrative RETURNS to the details of the THIRD Day. [Isa 46:10 KJV] Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: In other words, the first 34 verses of Genesis tell us the ENTIRE History of God's 6 Days of Creative Works, including Events which will NOT happen until AFTER Jesus, the Son, returns to this Planet. Gen 1:28-31. Then, on the 7th Day, God will REST FOREVER from ALL His Work which He Created and Made because, the 7th Day of God is the Age of Joy (Sabbath) which will never End, simply because, the 7th Day of God has No Evening and No End = ETERNITY. Here is a brief summary of how I read the first five verses of the the Book of Genesis - The Story of the Beginning: Genesis 1:1 Is an Introduction- The Story of the Beginning of the Physical World Genesis 1:2 Tells us the condition of the deep - darkness / void - before the making of the physical world. Genesis 1:3 The bringing forth of the LIGHT before anything is made that was made - before the world was. Genesis 1:4 The division of light from darkness - the first work of old. Genesis 1:5 The evening and the morning the first day of creation. As you can see, based on the above proper perspective of the cited texts, our physical heaven and earth that we know of today were still non-existence, formless and void on the 1st Day of Creation. The 1st formation of the firmament of Heaven took place on the 2nd Day - Gen 1:6-8 not Gen 1:1 as most people believe. Our Earth was formed/made on the 3rd Day Gen 1:9-10. God bless

bad explanation brethren. there's no contradiction.

This is wrong. Genesis 1 is Eloheem's creation. Genesis 2 is the Lord God's addition to the creation. Note: My God is omnipotent. My God would not have to rest on the seventh day. My God is beyond space, matter, and time. My God can not be found in Genesis 1.

The Hebrew word used for day is Yom. Usually it's accepted that this word means "today" and it is used in both ancient AND modern Hebrew. If you wanna take the Old Earth account and say Day is 1,000 years or more, then what about Old Earth scientists who argue the early earth had 4hr days? I say this because these are literal days, not figurative days. Btw, he named the living things based on their kind. No matter what crab there is on earth despite the countless numbers of species, it's still a crab. Millions of types of fish out there and all of them are just a "fish." Countless types of dogs, but they're still a dog. So many kinds of trees but they're still a tree. And we are talking about proto-species. I don't believe in Evolution but adaptation is certainly real, and this spawned countless variations of animals over the centuries either by climate or breeding, or both, and it's why we have variations of humans. Also, it's clearly said God brought the animals to Adam. I think an infinite God can make the process millions of times faster than had he made Adam track each kind down, including marine life if he so chose. But it seems like the only animals that were named were Livestock, birds that fly, and beasts of the field. It never mentions sea life or creeping things like Insects or larvae, etc.

It would take way too long to type out here. I will soon be making a video about this for my channel, MeteorWoman. But suffice to say for now that Gen 1:1-2:3 describes the evolution of life on earth : first plants, then fish & birds, then land mammals, then mankind. Then the story flashes back to a time before all this, before life on Earth evolved. The so-called fall of man is an accurate account of events that actually transpired, but mistranslation of a few key words has completely distorted and confused the meaning of the entire account for millennia. I finally cracked the code after 10 years of research. I apologize for being cryptic, but I can’t bring myself to just give away those answers in a comment on someone else’s video. BUT I will come back here with a link once I make my own video explaining it. No one else has put it all together yet, so I promise you it is nothing you have ever heard before and it will totally blow your mind.
