Why are South African Farmers Moving to Georgia? Part 1
Boers’ newfound home in rural Georgia. South Africans enjoy peaceful farming and friendly atmosphere. “We don’t want to go back”, says the middle-aged blonde woman confidently, as we park our car and continue our journey in her off-roader. The muddy road leads to a farmhouse, 64 km south of Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, and 14 km away from the nearest town, Gardabani. This is the new home for Adri Du Preez, her husband and two teenagers, who left South Africa two years ago to find peace, friendly people and fertile soil for their “agricultural experiments.”

Congratulations, you made it into security. It is a win-win situation. I am sure you'll contribute to the economy of your new homeland as well as to the social freedom there. You are the kind of immigrants Europe had so desperately needed. Instead it became the people of the continent you have fled. Maybe one day we are becoming neighbours as we also have to escape from them.

At 1:38 the wife talks about going to Rustavi and buying from an Azerbaijani woman. That's the only clue I caught. But in the description it also mentions Tbilisi, capital of Georgia.

Our currency is grosly undervalued and the dollar is 19 times what the rand is. Most South Africans can't afford your property, and I do believe the South would be most South Africans preferred choice.Texas is my personal favourite US destination but it's just not a reality

The songs of Julius Malema clearly are advocating race-based violence. All "Boer" and farmers should be able to claim asylum in Europe. I think Georgia has been very smart to welcome them.
