I think the best way to come to a conclusion is to learn about our beloved Prophets life, Me personally I have listened to both Shia and Sunni scholars on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Once you learn about the prophets life slowly you can connect the dots with the “Authentic” Hadiths. Now obviously I am biased because I follow the Ahelulbayt but even I had doubts and so I did my research and come to a conclusion. At the end of the day it all comes down to logic and your perception of looking at it.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabaraqatahu The Ayat u are asking about is ,"Now, whoever disputes with you ˹O Prophet˺ concerning Jesus after full knowledge has come to you, say, “Come! Let us gather our children and your children, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves-then let us sincerely invoke Allah’s curse upon the liars.” (3:61) The explanation is that it is referring basically to a Dispute between the Muslims and the Christians of Yemen (then Known as Najran) On the divinity of Prophet Jesus PBUH and Their claim of him PBUH to be the son of allah..to Resolve this Dispute Allah Swt revealed these verses Instructing our Prophet PBUH about A gathering And Invoking The almighty's curse on the liars, Hope It helps

You want to call yourself a proud shia, sunni, wahabi etc. you can... however, nowhere are these terms or these sects found in the Quran or the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). If you can show me a verse in the Quran which says Prophet (PBUH) was a shia, or a sunni or any other sect for that matter, I am ready to follow that sect. If the Prophet (PBUH) himself mentioned in any of his ahadith in which he claimed to be a shia sunni or whatever else we've made up, again I'm ready to accept that. There is none, keep calling yourself shia sunni wahabi etc... these are things we learn from our parents and the families we are born into. No one tries to read the Quran or do their own research in Islam, hence the sects. Peace be with you.

Surely, this your religion is the one single religion (of all the Prophets), and I am your Lord, so worship Me. وَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَاجِعُونَ 21 : 93 But they (- the latter generations) split up their affair (of religion) among themselves (and became divided into factions), and all will return to Us.

1)Why are these 3 people standing beside the person asking the question sort of influencing to speak and trying to scare him . 2) when u say book doesn't mention anything , are u a sunni or shia . Forget about the public commentary when u are alone u very well think of one sect i believe . 3) when u say a correct hadees to be followed , there are hadees that also mention how on the day of the day of prophets death , it was all about who will carry forward the job from now on . I think naik is being upfront with the kid and the kid is clearly looking for an answer. It's not about embarrassing the kid. I think naik wanted the kid to start thinking clearly instead following something he still unclear off. This will stick within the kid head and he will start to seriously looking for an answer

That's what they told you. huh? We don't call upon him because we worship him. It's because allah has given them so much blessings that when someone calls their name they are alive according to surah ali 'imran verse 169 and we call them in order for them to tell allah to look upon us And allah said in surah al kahf verse 21 that it's okay to build a shrine around them and to worship Allah in it and not imam Ali and that's what we do. You can type in google where shia pray in shrines and it will tell you toward kaaba

Prophet Muhammad’s Legacy “I am about to answer the call (of death). Verily, I leave behind two precious things (thaqalayn) amongst you: the Book of Allah and my Ahl al-Bayt. Verily, the two will never separate until they come back to me by the side of the Pond.” This authentic hadith from the Prophet Muhammad (s) is narrated by over 30 of his Companions and recorded by a large number of Sunni scholars. Read the Prophet's last sermon!

There is only shia name in Quran in 5/7 Ayaat. Ala pak never mention suuny, bralvi, dwobndi wabbi , shafi malki ward in Quran. Read Musllim nd Bukri about jangy safeen.according to bukri nd muslim jangy safeen was between shiyana Ali nd shiayny mawya. It means at that time all muslums were shia. But molvi mofti have been trying to hode shia Ayyat nd Bukhri muslim janngy safeen shia since 1400 years. And according to zakir nytak yazeeed was also prince like Hussain. Zakir nyaak is now became enemy of Prophet nd enemy of prophet Ahlbbat.

Surah 5 is surah Al-Ma'idah(the table) And the 7th verse is " وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمِيثَقَهُ ” الَّذِي وَاتَّقَكُم بِهِ إِذْ قُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَار وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِه " translation:" And call in remembrance the favour of Allah unto you, and His covenant, which He ratified with you, when you said: "We hear and we obey": And fear Allah, for Allah knows well the secrets of your hearts. " Your reference is not right. Please refer properly and inform if your interpretation is right.

I actually Don't know whether i am shia or shunni. Then i ask my father even he said you are muslim. And still i Don't know what my grandfather was shia or shunni. I am not interested to know that now. Because all i know he was a muslim and i am a muslim💙

Before Shia came there was no Sunnis there was only Muslims. Sunni is a name Shia gave us Muslims when they created their sect. They have nothing to do with Islam.

Holy Prophet says That The Rope of Islam is Ahlul Bait.

I can see clearly how can people be blind by heart...... After giving references from quran itself people are arguing. Nonsense.

Muslim prayer is incomplete without blessing the family of the prophet. There are enough hadiths and moral guidance in the quran to conclude that what happened to the prophets family was a big crime and not "political differences" that should be disregarded or ignored as Dr Naik wants us to do. It seems he believes that the family of the prophet were not innocent.

We all Muslims are one ummah whether shia or sunni All Muslims should obey Allah And follow the teaching of prophet Muhammad SAW

He didnt answer why shia and sunny differs.... he didnt say its political issue about who muslim should follow as leader after muhammad death.

Prophet Muhammad a.s. said " Hasan aur Hussain jannat ke sardar hai" u follow hussain first u tell me diz ans u r saying follow Prophet hadith first u read the book of Prophet Muhammad then give proper answer.

His answer is not on point, instead of giving a proper explanation, zakir asks a question to this boy, this is turning the tables around, why sunni hates shia is the question and give the answer respectively thats it.

_shīʿa_ is just an arabic word for ‘followers’ or ‘supporters.’ muslims who follow imām ʿali in rulings and teachings and support him are called _shīat ʿali_ or followers of ʿali, peace be upon him. they also follow the eleven imāms after him, the prophet and seyyida fāṭima, who make up the prophet’s family, blessings and peace be upon them. muslims who obey and support them are called _shīʿa_ and those who don’t call themselves _sunni_ . the prophet, blessings and peace be upon him and his progeny, ordered all muslims to follow the qurʾān and his family ( _ahlul bayt_ ), peace be upon them, so that they will be guided after him.

Salman, Abu Zarr and Miqdad were companions of Rasulallah صلى الله عليه و اله وسلم and ٍShia of Imam Ali عليه الصلاة و السلام and as per the Hadith of Rasulallah صلى الله عليه و اله و سلم , paradise is eager to welcome them !!! Make your choice.

Assalam u Alaikum. In my humble opinion, the moment one admits that there is none worthy of worship but Allah (swt) and that Prophet Muhammad (saw) is the messenger from Allah (swt), he/she is a Muslim. Now how a Muslim needs to follow Islam is in the holy Quran and Saheeh Hadees. Remaining matters, if any, are of very little importance. So much so that they have not been discussed either in holy Quran or in Saheeh Hadees. Means their importance is assigned by Shaitan only in our lives. Thumb rule is that if anything goes against the holy Quran or against Saheeh Hadees, it has to be rejected come what may. Addressing yourself as anything but a Muslim does go against the holy Quran and Saheeh Hadees. Therefore, one must reject calling himself/ herself by any Sect or group. We are Muslims and let Allah (swt) decide whether or not we are part of that one group that will enter the Jannat. Regards.

Converting 1 person or 100 peope will not open the gate of jannah for you but your deeds will.

Zakir loves to quote "natasya pratima asti" There are 4 vedas with various recensions and each Veda and it's recension has it's one Aranyaka, Brahmana and Upanishad. Together these texts and many other texts that came after the vedas deal with various subjects including metaphysics, rituals, soteriology, epistemology, philosophy, morality etc. Vedas never claim to be the work of a single God nor does it states that one must follow everything in it in the literal sense. Vedas are for understanding and guidance. "Natasya pratima asti" can be variously interpreted to having no form or feature. But, that does not mean one is not allowed to worship a form or model that one has created as guiding compass or symbol for their devitions. Muslims do pilgrimage to Mecca to pay respect to Hajars tremendous struggles she endured in the wildernes. They also consider the water of JamJam as holy. It's a symbolic pilgrimage to honour Ismale and Hagar. They do not beleive it to be the God Almighty. Similarly when Hindus worship an Idol they are well aware that it's a symbolic act, they are aware that the idol is made of stone/metal. It's the values and moral teachings that the idol symbolises is what is being worshipped. The one true God is not naive to punish you for keeping a symbol/idol

We never made sects, it was the Sunnis who made sects when they denounced the ahlul-bayt and deviated from the straight path.
