The modifications in the law could be : 1. Injury should be more than some percentage of the body. 2. Mandatory Dash Cams on vehicles. 3. And in case accident happens, taking the victim to hospital reduces the fine. In my opinion these could be some changes as to prevent the misuse of the law

I would like to see dashcam( one whose footage can be deleted in a short period of time) to be mandatory accesory in cars and bikes. This would definitely ease up the justice system into making correct judgements

Brother thanks for highlighting this issue in china. But are you aware in West Bengal this same type of scam is very much predominant in areas like Diamond harbour, canning especially in south 24 pgs? Diamond harbour area used to be a village now it is expanding town yet the residents of the area irrespective they are young, old, male or female will do the same type of things and then claim compensation. Even if your dash cam has recorded everything the police of diamond harbour jurisdiction will literally make sure you get behind bars. And the funny part is a major % earned from these type of scams goes to the present government (documented evidence is not available).

Yes, these things were unbelievable to the public at the time. Fortunately, laws were added later to limit the occurrence of such incidents.

A common man, a norma human being of other country can understand what is going wrong with china but Chinese government itself doesn't understand. Feels so bad for Chinese people 😞

And they can't even go against their government, no matter what the government is doing or saying, without questioning they must have to follow all the rules, although if those rules are causing harm to people or destroying their life's. So as a human being , if I see myself in such situation, I cannot live, it's so hard. I know China hates India, but I commented not by thinking about the political leaders of China, but by thinking about the innocent peoples of China, innocent citizens, elders, youngers, children's, etc like common people. One bad justice in a case...and impact which had to a country is unimaginable 😢

They talked about this on the China Show. People don't want to be sued so whenever something happens both sides play the victim.

We Indians should not be relieved hearing that we don't have such laws in Bharat. Because we too have many laws like SC/ST law, alimony after divorce law and fake rape case allegations where women can easily extort a huge amount of money by fake cases and If the case is wrong, there is no punishment on the woman. Our laws are so gender and caste biased that it is laughable how it is even passed in parliament. Edit: for the people fighting in the replies section for/against caste reservations. Let me add: Reservation is necessary because there are still a lot of backward classes in utter poverty. Just the form needs to change. If someone gets a job/seat reservation, his aadhar card should be marked that he has got the opportunity and now got a job through it. Now his children should compete in general quota.

Even my hubby was the victim of the same in gulf country. He is very gud driver and from 12 driving vehicle without a fine or breaking rule. One near to the signal he put a break and suddenly one local citizen came and acted as he was hit by husband. He started fighting I am injured and I want money. When he told that he will take hospital,he said he don't have time and pay money. As the country support the citizen and thinking of all the expenses and time he paid him some money. Immediately he lef the place. So I mean to say,it's not happening in China ,even in other countries

The good Samaritan law was introduced in India but helping the injured can lead to lot of hassles in police system 😢 I know its a good ammendment but lots of loopholes in it😢😢😢

Eg:- If Implementation of GPCL is valid if an individual/victim is compelled to take more than 5 months to recover... Benefits will be as follows.. 1) To get such injuries so as to spend 5 months...One has to have broken bones, fatal injuries...And everyone can't afford to do that .. 2) Even if some "*DAREDEVILS*" try to do so...Their no. will gradually decrease as many of them will be in the hospital 😂 In addition, limit to what amount can one pay for their medical bills..is excellent way to make People think that.. "It's not worth it"

I would say government should just increase fine on frauds (not only for Chinese government but all government) like when INDIAN government increased fine on trafic rules. Similary frauds should be fined a lot (only problem is fraud can't be caught unless investigated properly)

This is happening in India as well. I saw many similar videos of South India. Particularly on the Bengaluru road. There might be more, but those are the ones that came in my feed. Watching this video reminds me of our alimony laws of our country which incentivises wom*n to penalize men after divorce, I heard that in one case a court ordered that man to sell his ancestral property to fulfill the alimony amount. Where I am from ancestral properties are defended with life on the line, this could be either the downfall of the marriage institution or a population decline of smart bloodlines to avoid penalties.

Life time compensation is not a justice, incase if injured is young and fit why does he need lifetime compensation. He can work and earn this law should be applicable with only ,5 years compensation only if injured person is: 1. A senior citizen and suffered fracture during accident with medical proof Or 2. This kind of fraud was also prevalent in Kerala but not to this extent. It was in 90s but I dont know now its still in vogue. They claim compensation under Motor Accident Tribunal Act.

The law seems to be excellent but there needs to be safeguards against Mis-use by fraudsters and connivance by officials. Firstly there should be a system if appeal against the judgement wherein the.judge and conniving officials shall be severely punished for negligence and fraudsters should be compulsorily subjected to rigorous imprisonment. Social awareness campaigns to be extensively implemented highlighting and awarding good Samaritans.
