@JournalityOnAJourney.....The Hijab is a Arabic custom and tradition that has been adopted in Islam. Why conceal your beauty when Allah made people to be looked at. How can a man see a women ''beauty'' if she is coverd in a Hijab or Niqah doesnt make any sense. Just old ancient Arabic customs that has been made religious.

@@onlineonlineaccount2368 I honestly question if you are Muslim, because you clearly have not read the Quran. The word hijab means to conceal/veil, the word hijab has now been adopted to mean that which covers the awrah. whether it be for a man or a woman. But the Quran explicitly tells women to cover their beauty, the brother even quoted the verses of the Quran in the video. How could you possibly say that concealing one's beauty is not a part of Islam? The verse he quoted in the video even specifies the people to whom a woman is permitted to show her beauty, which includes her husband. That is the man who can see her beauty. But it stays covered from no-mahram.

@@son_of_alandalus No not all. Any women who dresses decent and modest is always respectable as muslim women or even as non-muslim. But there is the extreme like a Niqab which is a custom of dress that is Arabic in its tradition and later on taken over by other muslim women who follow a very orthodox in their practise. Alot customs like dress in the Islam are Arabic by tradition and customs and have been incorperated in the islam because islam comes from Saudi Arabia and is in origin a Arabic religion and belief system as we know.

I don’t think it’s good for sisters to go online, especially without proper hijab, and makeup on top of it. BUT, since it’s wrong, it’s also wrong for you to show their videos as well Speak of the topic of you wish, but don’t further expose anyone else’s sins. And yes, I get it’s public, so supposedly you can correct publicly. But what if they do decide to take their videos down, and you still have their videos in your videos? Also why can’t you explain without naming names or showing faces?

I think it's dangerous in general to go online (cyberbullying, privacy, ect). It can really cause fitna. Sometimes, it's needed. However, why're men watching *women's* channels? Unless these men are serious about marriage, they shouldn't even be watching. I do agree, them not wearing proper hijab (especially tabbaruj) is wrong, but men shouldn't even be looking. That's wrong. It's still on them to lower their gaze and not fawn over them.

@@FaiyadFit Agree but as we know 'covered (hijab) while still naked (no modesty/shame) is the future. I think for girls it started when the need to make sure the headscarf is stylish/fashionable ie looks good and is pretty colours became more important than simply just wearing a piece of fabric to cover up (upto Gen X - 90s it was not a fashion statement). I know today young girls/women will not step out of the house until the headscarf looks perfect and they have atleast one layer of makeup on just to pop into corner shop for milk (why unless the point is to catch the eye of men or impress someone for marriage or going for job interview). We all have selfesteem and want to look good but this desire to always look 'perfect in clothes and skin' is the slippery slope to loss of Haya in both men and women.

I surely have more gheerah than these men (I'm not pointing at someone particularly). I've also seen a brother showing his wife's "funny" face when she fell asleep. Imagine being a dad with dignity and failing to marry ur daughter off to ar rajul💀 It feels like i'm watching 2 girlie pops making a "how to do make up tutorial". If the woman was alone making such vdos i'd give her the benefit of doubt thinking maybe she's new to islam or she's in a western country where she is influenced heavily by feminism so her men allowed her to do some things keeping some boundaries. So this might encourage her to become more religious. Maybe her men are dealing with her with diplomacy rather than being Strict right away. Now tell me what benefit of doubt do i give to those hubbies who make tiktoks along side them?🤡 Man my gheerah would never! U don't have to be all strict and can be polite letting your wife know that she should listen to u when u feel uneasy with some of her actions. That's the effective way to go. Bt what's all these. I can't help bt feel bad for those ladies on their behalf🥴

I'll take it one step further. Not only should we not post our wives online, but we shouldn't post our kids either. Just think of all the goofy pictures and videos of kids being posted by their parents. They become memes and get spread thousands or millions of times. The more embarrassing the situation, the more it gets spread. And then 20 years from now, when that kid is an adult, that kid's coworkers will mock that kid for being part of a dumb meme that was spread like wild fire 20 years earlier. We need to stop feeding the internet with pictures of our wives and kids. Social media is a tool. Use it to grow your brand and make money. Don't use it to spread your family around. Keep your family protected from the internet.

On the other hand, I see photos where you show your shoulders. They are attractive to me. Don't you mind tempting me? Men also have an ideal dress code. With all due respect brother, and just to add on- I have listened to your podcast the 3 muslims and I had usually liked your content. But Don't you think posting these other influencer videos in your videos contradicts your point? By showcasing them? Especially being sarcastic and mocking them? How are we any better? YES I understand your point of the whole video and I do agree that what the influencers doing are wrong. But I think you could have started putting the message across in a much better way. You could have blurred the women in the reels or in fact blurred both the men and women. Especially considering your content is male-audience driven. Or you could have avoided showing their content as well by keeping the haya. I dont think just to put the message across you can show that content, I think it could have been avoided. Because the audience who this message is for anyhow would understand your point w/o having to see the reels.

Secular, but with what's been happening in the world (Gaza) I've been reading up on Judaism and Islam. It's interesting to me that some of the concepts in Islam just feel natural, like I've been living by them all my life already without knowing it. When I saw the title to this video I was shocked because I was just thinking about this yesterday. I've been watching many Muslim couples lately and for the most part the women and men are both humble and respectful but there were some that just didn't seem right. This video helped me understand this a little better.

im so glad you reconfirmed what was troubling me, i had put my pic up on a matrimonial site and the amount of unwanted comments that was sexualized towards me revolted me, even though i had said i pray 5 times, i do not mix with the opposite sex , and personally i dont like men looking at me or talking to me, but i had no choice cause i want to find someone to marry so i put my pic up , i am modestly very well dressed and gracefully dressed however modern i look I am fully covered , have hardly spoken to men unless its work related. Im in a leadership position so am considered alpha female as im head strong and very confident. I am considered by many as relatively very attractive so I'm uncomfortable with men giving me compliments in a nice way or sexualized way which i get angry and give them a peace of my mind and bring their sisters and mothers up . I dont have male friends and have zero desire to talk to men and as i grew up in a female house hold we were not allowed to mix with the opposite sex even though we had so much freedom to do as we pleased, dad was encouraging to make sure we stood strong, but with the opposite sex mixing we knew the score it was a no brainer, which is ingrained in me till this day, even though my parents died decades back, we had all the freedom to do as we pleased which we never abused. However no matter how religious i am i do not wear the hijab ( only thing i dont practice) but today i removed my picture from the muslim matrimonial muslima site, when i heard what you said and it confirmed why i was so unhappy of the opposite sex looking at me and saying shit like hi beautiful, hi sexy. These is not the caliber or type of man i want to be married to. So just now i removed my photo which was a massive relief as im a very private person. Thank you brother i knew what you were saying all along was right i just wanted to find that one decent guy which sadly i didnt, but im happier with removing my pic. You just reconfirmed what i had been thinking all along.

I'd wish, however, that you'd also have addressed the fact that this issue even extended to our sisters in Abaya and Niqab. It doesn't always have to be the apparent Hijabi, but the Niqabi and the husband in the thawb is also very certainly affected and posting pictures as a Niqabi sister and blurring your husband's face is totally being fetishised and romanticised

Allahumma barik very true. And the wives might act like they appreciate the ‘freedom’ but really it is not true love. If a man has gheerah over you it means he loves and cares about you. And a woman naturally knows this, even if she ‘acts’ like she doesn’t like it yes she does, she feels protected. But some women are brainwashed into thinking it is bad, and some men are brainwashed into losing their masculinity and not protecting their women which is sad. May Allah guide us

This is liberalism. In the same way you look at "conservative Christians" and see they're not actually conservative at all, but closet liberals who call themselves conservative, because relatively speaking they are conservative, when compared to extreme left liberals. In the same way, these Muslims may believe they are following deen because when compared to people who don't pray at all, or compared to Muslim women who are walking around in min-skirts, relatively they are more religious. But in actuality, when compared to the authentic Sunnah they may be far from the deen. The overall effect of this is, as generations go by, the general perception by society of what following the deen actually means, changes for the worse. After three or four generations, you don't see any deen at all. This is a trick of the Shaytaan, and the only way to fight it is to always return back to the authentic Quran and Sunnah and how the Sahabah understood and practiced the deen. This is what the Messenger PBUH commanded. May Allah Guide the Ummah back to the Straight Path

Ameen bro. People fail to see the bigger effect of this cute romantic storytelling and public display of your marriage. Over time the non Muslims will f*tishize hijab bc hijab has been made to be stylish and alluring and they’ll think of Muslim men as dishonourable with no standard.

Thank you for not lecturing us people, rather, you parted with some pertinent useful pieces of information - much food for thought here. Please remember your OWN protection duas and may Allah Taala keep you grounded in His sincerity, humility and correct criterion. Allahumma Barak and MashAllah I don't see myself as very religious, and its the first time I've come across your channel - but i can say, its a breath of fresh air from the ALL singing ALL dancing cheesy pageant smile stuff im seeing lately. Thankfully I can see some of these couples already beginning to grow out of this and moving on. Wish them all the best in their new pastures. Jedi

@@FaiyadFit assalamu alaikum brother i'm glad you explained this issue that is often overlooked and it is overall a important topic. However i have one request as a muslim to conceal the people and to not expose their sins. in the thumbnail you can hide both the man and woman and just keep the just like the video titles or use a general AI picture that is not those specific people. As muslims we should talk about important issues but also conceal and not point out clearly individual's mistakes as this would lead to anger and hate and animosity between the muslims as they feel like you are exposing their sins maybe if they saw this advice without their videos and pictures they would take it seriously but now their face is there they will just be angry and feel shamed. There's the story of man who commited zina and kept announcing it to The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) but the prophet(may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) kept turning away every time away from him, hoping that he would retract his statement and repent to Allah in secret. the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him also said: “Whoever conceals the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will conceal his faults on the Day of Resurrection'. Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنه said a powerful statement : “Even if you smell alcohol on your brother's beard, you should assume that someone else has spilled it there. We should talk about issues but not expose people so please remove them my dear brother may the Allah Almighty bless and reward your efforts and make you a light for the ummah ameen.

As a women you're absolutely right , i know that it's not gonna be easy especially when it comes to the topic of beauty that many women love and enjoy receiving compliments for ( even if they deny it ) However , we should learn how to leave what we love for the sake of Allah , it's not just about claiming faith , but also demonstrating it thgrough our actions , we should be responsible and adhere to our principles as muslim women and not imitate the west in everything they do , ofc we dont say that you should be ugly , but our beauty should be reserved for our maharim

Subhanallah this is what I've been thinking too, that there are many muslim men who are pretty much showing off their wives on youtube or other social media and those that do are the ones that I've stopped watching because theres someone else's wife in the video and it's also haram for me to look. I don't understand though, after all that time of waiting and then getting a wife just to show people how she looks like? May Allah guide us

I'd think a person like you who already does a lot of dawah on youtube should be aware that just because they show themselves on social media, doesn;t mean you have to show them as well. You can get the msg across by blurring them in their pics and vids. Some of these aren't even proper hijabis and we all get sins for it. You carry our sins too coz you showed us their pics/ vids. Edit: And just in case any1 attacks me or it wasn't already clear enough I'm not against exposing dayooth men, I'm against further sharing the pics of the couple without blurring

Well said. Because in Islam we not expose them more if anyone did something wrong or they didn't know to much about Islam then that's not our way to expose them more and say they are this and that but instead advice them in private with their elder members what their young's doing is haram.
