Korea is a great country but it is very traditional and racist towards anyone whose skin is darker than their own. This especially holds true in semi-rural side, where older women who runs shops and restaurants will openly abuse you. I (Indian) went to a restaurant with my American colleague(white guy) and was treated differently in restaurants and shops than when I was with my another friend from Nigeria. But I liked Korea not because of K-pop or their crime shows, they were sticking to their traditions at the same time imbibing western values. It is a weird but healthy mix.

We have to sign anti-ragging avidavit before admissions in college. Our Whole career will be destroyed if we are caught in that kind of ragging.

Korea has a great crime management system and womens are very safe there . There was a rape incident a month ago and the rapist was imprisoned with 7 years within a week .

That is not true, most of the indians has been faced discrimination and toxicity in workplace and in public. The hate is just not limited to verbal abuses but in many cases its mental and physical.

Some clubs are reluctant to accept foreigners because of problems caused by foreigners in the past, but clubs are exclusive entertainment spot and clubs do not represent Korea. Foreigners are welcome everywhere in Korea. Don't fall into a very exaggerated incitement on the Internet and listen to the Indians who really visited Korea
