Why are good players bad managers?
Ойын-сауық
In this video I explore one of football's biggest mysteries: why do great players fail at managing teams while footballers who go under the radar end up being successful when managing?

I see your point but I dont think good players are "bad manager" (Xabi Alonso and Zidane disprove that completely) but I think that good players dont equal good manager. since its 2 different set of skills, still being a good player can help your managerial career.

I agree, it could help your career as long as you are aware (as a player/manager) that you need to learn and most importantly, to try not to jump into top of the league teams as first or second managerial experience. Look at Xabi Alonso, he first managed Real Sociedad's youth for a few years, Zizou did so with Real Madrid Castilla. Pirlo was incredibly good at Juve for a first experience, but since he went to a team that fits his managerial experience level, it feels like he wasn't good enough! when in reality it probably had to do with his experience!
Great video man, Argentina is the best country ever, I love their people so much. I wish I was part of their football culture. Best wishes from Buenos Aires

Ancelotti, Zidane, Cruyff
why do people assume that being a good player makes u a great manager as well , managment is a skil of its own how to influnance people how to think strategicaly how to adapt change anticipate quickly these are the skills of a manager . so dont make sense why people thiink a big name such as van basten or maradone will be great coaches

I think I made a mistake by not mentioning the ones who were good at both things at the same time... there are exceptions for sure, but in many cases I still believe these kind of situations apply!
