The kid is insane, my favourite pro player to watch ever. The clip from the Ceb documentary cemented it for me, where misha says something like 'we need to pick meta heroes these drafts are not working' and Ammar shuts it straight down and says 'no, we win because we play comfort hero, razor not meta, timber not meta but these win'. Hard to believe how young this guy is with his insane and meta shaping knowledge. Hope falcons don't run over everything now and get nerfed hard before TI, but ATF the type of player to not worry about that
@supesulgi

That's true. Ammar is one of the pro players who played Timbersaw when he was out of meta. He's like a really good specialist player.

Completely agree - ATF is quickly building a legacy of a dota legend like others before him (Sumail, Miracle, etc) - Misha will only be remembered as some coach who tried to question Ammar lol

If I remember correctly, OG were winning games and Ammar was on the helm with razor and Mars with aghs and there’s a new patch came in and the nerfs were directed to his heroes. That’s where also people “bash” him for not playing zoo heroes when the meta is all about pushing.
@bingshavebeenchilled

@@jakugarcia that's my point, specifically timber and razor weren't meta and that's what Ammar was saying and was right about in the clip from the Ceb documentary I mentioned. People bash him for not playing the zoo meta but OG won playing their way and Ammar saw that in the moment and at 17 was calling out the coach like he did which shows greatness imo
this is literally one of the best tutorial vids ive seen on top of featuring a pro player as an example. Good job!
The way he last hit/deny at the very last moment is so disgusting lol... that lucent beam bait to denying the ranged creep is so simple yet insane...

I wonder who's the Safelane carry equivalent to these 2? Probably none yet but I think maybe Ceb and TorontoTokyo fits 4 and 5 respectively.
you honestly make the best educational content out of all the DotA 2 creators. would love to see a specific hero educational now and then like what you used to do in HoN 💕

Also been a Kezhu Fan since HoN vids, I am upvoting this.
I’d love to see more offlane content it feels like there’s creators for every other position in dota but offlane is rarely discussed. Great video as always thanks.
Honestly this guy is just insane. Ever since his days in OG, I think everyone saw the potential of him and rightly so after his performance in other teams. He did struggle early on because his heroes kept getting banned and he lacked versatility but now that vulnerability is no longer there with him having a wider range of heroes. Great player and also entertaining.

The only thing is people complain about his hero pool
Tldr lil bro is one of a kind BEAST
That is not the only reason why Ammar is dominating right now. He is also insane at counterpicking enemy, he sometimes pick slark offlane, razor offlane, antimage offlane, in order to beat his opponent in lane and dominate them. And he isn't scared of picking the same 3 heroes that he master in order to win, creating a disruption in banning phase, where the enemy has to ban his timber, mars, razor and waste 3 bans. His map awareness and his macro play is also insane where he always gets more farm than an average offlaner should, and with all that networth he always performs and make the enemy know that he is the greatest threat in the game. The only drawbacks i see is he being greedy making all the other core farm less. But a team that can use Ammar into his greatest potential will have the strongest offlaner in this current patch.
@giovanniprovost
2 ай бұрын
This is accurate, been watching his games lately and he plays offlane so well his net worth is often extremely high. He doesn't die to disrupt (which I think too many offlaners do) which is fine to make space but honestly isn't always necessary. I like ATF's style so much because he's essentially a semi carry by mid game. Also from some reason he reminds me of Topson in the sense that he makes other people play his game through his consistency, which many of your points made clear to me.
omg i just noticed it was khezu all the time. Top tier video, man -new sub
KheZu, thank you for the content - please keep it coming. Cheers.
Amazing analysis Khezu!! Great focus on the details which actually make all the difference in a Dota match. Much love to you and to Ammar 🙏🏼
Amazing video, Khezu, thanks as always for teaching us something interesting & useful! Loving your videos
Great analysis k. Subbed There's levels to this game
Top notch content Khezu, years of playing dota and no one explained the complexity of pro level team fight better than this. Thank you!
Great content. Love to see more of this type of content for other players.
Thank you for giving us professional insight into these plays that are hard to see with 2k mmr eyes.
Takes a good offlaner to recognize other. Love how you break down the advanced stuff and explain it to us heralds! Great video!
the confidence of this guy in his plays is astronomical compared to other players, and he has the skills to back that up, that makes him a cut above the rest😮
great content Khezu! lets go 50k subs!
Great video. Really loved the analysis.
So good analysis. Keep up the good work bro
Great video as always mr khezu
great content for all ranks, from herald to immortal. tysm for upload.
I learned something new today. Thanks for sharing.
i remember out of nowhere in one of the tournamernt he was shining with Timbersaw which had not been played by anone before in that tournament and he made a meta out of that unused hero after that players were picking timbersaw everygame like how Collapse did with Mag at the TI . Ever since i always look forward to watching his game and looks like he finally found a team where he can actually play together as a team and his mates understands him . He is a TI winning potential player but lets see how they do at TI together if they dont change the rooster .
Its not too late bro, your content amazes me ! ❤❤❤
Pog video, would love a video like this with a player on every role, analyzing their moves and what sets them apart in games

Nitpick about the bonk on lonedruid at about 3:27: He bonks him for 3/12 bars of health (well between 3 and 4), so between 25-33%, however the bear dies too, so it’s less than 25%. That said - great guide! Making the toilet breaks much more satisfying (and prolonged lol)
Jenkins : we can't call full name, what atf are you ATF: ammar the fucker (during live) Jenkins : what did i expect from Atf 😂😂
how can i control the lane as Ammer if my great support keep fucking hitting creeps or hitting hero to trigger aggro and pull them away?
Dota has come a long way man, props to the new players!
Nice vid!
Done some of those venge-blocking plays myself as a mars (or as DK just blinked where I bet he would be cuz carry was kinda baiting) against a whole lot worse enemies of course. Those felt like real dota, but 99% time in my bracket no matter the game the teams just afk hover around an area and wont fight until the offlaner blinks in to suicide x) I love any game where other roles kinda make things start and chaos happen, force plays etc so the 3 with big CD can jump in and make that huge arena or black hole or RP, but that's like 1/10 :( Would love to learn how to setup the team in draft to make this happen more reliably, but little does it help me when in pubs I need to first pick 9/10 times
amazing deep dive!
Ammar won his 4th Major LAN this season. This video continues to age well.
Puts into perspective how bad nigma and kuro as a captain is. Highest placement was 6th place with atf. Glad he left when he got the chance
awesome content, keep it up
It’s cool to see the great Khezu himself explaining this, rich content indeed! 👊🏼
great content khezu. to be fair I used to prefer your slightly longer content. I think one thing that you useually do well in pannel / casting is commeting on the game state in laning / early mid. if you make a video on that I think it would be very successful. Maybe focusing on what each of the pos should do and why, and how it can change in different game.

Thank you KheZu, I love you..
Glad you are on the dota2 panel in the mainstream, you and BSJ make every discussion informative and fun! P.S. still spamming your chat wheel, and I swear it tilts the enemy hard.
Khezu the goat with these offlane videos
Good stuff man 100%
I want to see more videos like this on different pro players
I'm on my way to Ammar's level. I also do the keep enemy creeps alive as long as possible to delay the wave push. That's pretty much the only thing ATF and I have in common.
Can you do how to lane against slark? Im so bad laning against slark
and thats how your build a team, this team had synergy aui maybe had biggest factor to connect it cause hes in every video passionate how to explain things in dota works

Ammar is indeed a fresh air among the offlaner players. It's his challenge to win big titles now, to be legendary as Universe, Faith_Bian and Collapse. Mind Control and Ceb are honorable mentions as well, but If I may speak in terms of invidual's skill level. The first three are definitely GOAT.

Having received the bonus of the version, of course he is very strong in his own right.
He's a beast
Well he's very old and play in a pro scene for a long time, experienced player indeed
I see ATF like the combination of Sumail + Topson. Sumail's younger days - his bravado, cheekiness and confidence which shapes his playstyle to be reckless yet calculated with a hint of genius. Topson - the TI9 Chadson, the type of player who goes out of his way to build unconventional build but after you zoom out you be like "oooooooooh thats why he bought those items"
he has one of the best mechanics I have ever seen
OG kicking Ammar for not playing zoo heroes will be remembered as one of the worst in dota history
One of the things that got me so into dota recently is my countrie's representation in the pro circuit, and generally there are alot more Arabs in the scene than any other esport I've played so far :DD
