This is a bigger problem now than it was in the obama -disaster- administration. The number of voters who have no risk in the election; but can vote for whoever promises the most free stuff, is enormous. PS: A companion problem is the core beliefs of the opposing sociopolitical metrics. At its most basic, "conservatism" is the idea of being left the heck alone; where "leftism" is the idea that government can and should be involved in EVERYthing. Thus, 'conservatives' aren't as diligent about voting; because - as long as the result can be endured - they prefer to stay out of it; while leftists vote vigorously (and often) because government is the answer.
Thomas Sowell needs to be heard by every American.

What would they do then exactly?
Economists have not suggested that accounting/finance be mandatory in high schools since Sputnik. They do not talk about the Planned Obsolescence of durable consumer goods or the Depreciation thereof. What is Net Domestic Product? Sowell did not use the word 'depreciation' in his book, *Basic Economics.* DUH!

Even if Tom is right on many points, his omission of the GOP and Maga and Trump is revolting.
While there are many areas I agree with Sowell, I am not a fan of these direct attacks on others. He is now a pawn for the maggots and that is a shame.

The fact that you can't see it makes his point even more. Controlled demolition only works if the masses are oblivious to the signs until it's too late. In 2008 everything seemed to be working just fine right until the economy went boom. All those who called before received something in the order of what you just said lol. As always history repeats itself!
