Thank you so much for these initiatives, the building of new schools and academic islands is so important now.

This gives me hope. Thank you. I hope that you stand out as an alternative to the disgrace that the Ivy League has become, and I am excited to see where your students go.

My daughter is 14 and I would be proud to send her here.

This is unbelievably exciting. I wish, so desperately wish, my student orientation welcoming message at San Jose State University was like this. But it wasn't. A large portion of it dived into topics such as trigger warnings, micro aggressions, and social justice agendas. The message was clear to my student body: you are not allowed to think these things, say these things, do these things. There was no embrace at all with the ideas of open debate and inquiry. I thought to my self while listening to the orientation presenter, "My goodness. This is real. This really is happening. And now I'm stuck. I'll have to grind for four years confronting ideas I believe are fundamentally flawed by my university staff, faculty and even student press, in which I have no avenue to express my objections." And sure enough, that was my experience. I have my degree, but I do look at it with resentment. Thinking I spent so much time and money at an institution that I believe has abandoned its original principles and purpose to society. I am watching the progress of the University of Austin with great curiosity. I hope it succeeds in its mission. America needs it.

Quite a testimony

Listening to this took me back to my years as a young undergraduate here in London. I’m 64 now and back then wokeism hadn’t corrupted our institutions. I felt the same enthusiasm I felt back then - if I were young again I would choose UATX - the best of luck to you all! The slow counter march through the institutions begins now. I feel a glimmer of hope at last. Mighty oaks from little acorns grow!

So exciting!!

The University of Austin looks to be the best thing that could happen to higher education in the U.S. in the 2020s. May it be the first of many such parallel institutions able to pick up the ball the “legacy” institutions have dropped over the past 30 - 40 years.

If your admission has no an age restriction, I do want to apply for a study there. Just like to be a part of this promising initiative and learn to become a better person humbly.

Going to be interesting to see how they fare. University of Texas is in Austin. Have an old Army buddy that is a UT grad, lives in a near by town and told me it's changed so much he won't even go into Austin.

And do a podcast tour with free thinkers like David Sacks (All-In Podcast), Lex Fridman, Patrick Bet David
