Maryland completes the upset and advances to championship weekend with their win against number 2 ranked Duke. Ajax Zapitello has risen to elite levels defensively and was able to hold high powered Josh Zawada to just one assist and zero goals in the quarter final matchup. Last week he was selected 3rd in the PLL draft in one of the greatest draft classes of all time. He has proven to be the best player in college lacrosse this year. The amazing things about Zapitello is that he is not the biggest or most athletic player on the field yet he is the smartest. He plays angles better than anyone in the country and consistently locks star players down by just matching feet.

First clip is really impressive, saved a goal by just getting stick on hands. Slide was bad, didn't pinch the man, also looked like MD defense had lack of communication since the rotate was late.
