Many years ago my husband read this book three times while traveling on business. He told me about the lessons and how they helped him, especially through some bad times. Now I just picked his old book up and have started it.

I couldn't relate more to when Carol speaks about terrifying fear. I would be shot out of bed in the morning terrified about something I wasn't sure of. My heart would be racing almost hyperventilating! The fight or flight mode. I now understand how much the ego plays a role in fear! Carol is one of my first teachers along with David Hoffmeister and between these two I felt safe ♥️ If you can ease into ACIM, and try not to over think what's being taught you will do much better. I agree with what Carol says at “the power of the book”. The first time I got it even with years of spiritual experience, I knew and felt right away this was the book that will take me into “Angelhood”..

Awesome interview! I found myself tearing up at the story of Bill Thetford as I was having the realization of what a magnificent person was. And what a gift, Helen and Bill gave us!

The message of being truly helpful came directly from Jesus to Helen Schucman, it was a conversation between them and it can be found ONLY in the Urtext version (first version with all the complete manuscripts) of the Course in Miracles. Jesus instructed Helen to tell Bill this prayer, because he had to attend a meeting. I copied what it reads "I am here ONLY to be truly helpful. I am here to represent Christ, who sent me. I do not have to worry about what to say or what to do, because the one who sent me will direct me. I am content to be wherever He wished, knowing he goes there with me. I will be healed as I let him teach me to heal." I share it as I apply it and I gave it to a friend who is having a conflict with her employee. I said to her to call upon the Holy Spirit and He will speak through you. Step aside and allow Him to guide you. I hope it helps you all. Blessings,❤ Mariana

So sweet, so profound, lovely exchange of mighty companions! Thanx so much, have been in love with ACIM since it first came out, and was a spiritual seeker for decades both before and after. Somehow I didn't grok about the 600 frequency even though I had read David Hawkins extensively, its amazing how things click over the years at different layers. This gives me more juice as I continue to sandpaper off so many rough edges of my ego hypnosis despite so much hard work on myself. there are daily discoveries of the brainwashing. Its important to know that this is a Lifeswork. Just because you hear the words to be loving you cannot paste this formula over your wounds, traumas and suffering. You have to allow spiritual help to heal the past by doing the work the Course entails ... otherwise you are going around virtue signaling and developing (as Keith Kavanaugh describes so well) and cultivating a "spiritual ego" which looks good but which makes you feel worse because to "act" loving will just make you feel at a deeper level "deceptive". It is currently en vogue to be more loving, "be the bigger person" but the homework to undo the ego mind has to come first, then the Love naturally shines through and is a palpable and delightful experience that comes through organically, without effort or pretense. WOW, two articulate lovelies!!!

Yes at 32:40 the thoughts of being unworthy and stuff transfer onto the children, I think because we are all put into this state of money scarcity and stress that comes with our society and culture and it unwittingly damages the babies. I realize I feel unworthy and a money burden and that’s exactly what I’ve become as an adult, and I’m trying to learn how to delete that. I remember getting so mad when young, I was contemplating taxes, and it gets stuck onto you just for being born, and I was thinking how is that fair to be born someplace and have to pay for it. But I know what Jesus meant now when he said give to Caeser what is Caeser’s. And now I don’t care if it’s the Illuminati or whoever doing it to us, it’s truly not real, and it can be dissolved by my reaction to it, and I can start to manifest with a blank slate and use the abundance of the Holy Spirit. I can see it all already, but I’m a month into the course, but I’ve been working with this stuff for a while trying to diffuse it out and the course is linking it all together. I wish I would’ve started it sooner! Thank you!

It wasn’t actually about the version that made impact on me, it was the new level of consciousness that I am that made me interpret the course in a much deeper way. I read now the one from the Course of Miracles society with the pearls on the cover. But honestly doesn’t matter. I did tons of healing in the last 3 years, mostly around relational trauma, so there was more space in me to cone t with God, Truth, so the Course hits all the truth cords inside me. Thank you for your question !

A Right Mind supporting arrangement is my goal. My so-called unchosen kinds of 'people' are the mirrors showing me my psychosis that remains, revealing where I am in Left Mind support. There are no accidents. I pretended a cat to be well, now I've pretended he has a skin condition. The Left Mind supporting plot twist has failed however. I will pay close attention tomorrow, on the day that this plot twist brings about my altered actions due to this interesting turn of events. Who will be my transportation driver there and back, who will be sitting in the vet waiting room, and the conversations had throughout the visit. I will ask Holy Spirit to repurpose what was previously scripted support of impossible health and sickness, support of impossibly occurring opposites.

Listening again ... I just noticed Carol said that Helen Shucman was a very sophisticated Eastern professor, but I think she meant East Coast/Western? not Eastern as Asia/India etc??? She taught in New York City.

Ah but is acim true? Very obscure
