I focus on 5 types of videos. 1. I review trucks and SUVs from Ford, GMC, Chevrolet (Chevy), RAM (Dodge), Toyota, Nissan, and others. 2. I review accessories for both RVs as well as Pickups and trucks. 3. I review RVs, including Class A, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Class B and Class C coaches. 3. I do general "Ranting" videos where I talk about vehicles, towing, and give my general opinion on various topics. 4. Vehicle upgrade and installation videos on various accessories either I am installing or that are being installed on other vehicles. 5. Interview videos with experts in various fields related to trucks and RVs.

my first rig was a 2012 f350 srw and a 2015 38'11'' carbon all in i've got $64k into both and the floor plan we love! i almost got a unit for 55k alone but was compromising on things, i thought i needed to spend more, best thing for me i was talking to a tehc, about them NOT a sales guy! and taking the advice i got on this channel, about making a list of what you really want in a unit, ended up saving us a boatload of money! so i thank you for that Sir! buying used and waiting for the right deal and being able to walk away was key!!
You recommended a Salun tire for trailers so we decided to look at one for the motor home. Then decided to put them on. So far happy. Specs are good and could not find anyone that had problems. We got the 19.5 G rated tire. Price amazing.
Big truck Big RV don’t worry what other people say if you want a better more luxurious RV then get it. My father has always told me don’t worry what other people say only worry when they pay your bills. If you want it and can afford a $150,000.00 RV get it you are the one paying for it enjoy your life you only get one go around.
That blue Kia Sorrento forgot to use the turn signal on the way back to the lane. That's the least of his worries. That red truck with that iPod cable cracks me up
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I've been watching for about a year, as we plan for a full-time lifestyle.
Thanks for all your advice- a little extra knowledge goes a long way
I installed TOYO 285/75R19.5. Ride has improved and it looks great.
That iPhone charging cable was connected to his slick solar panel bed cap. Very desirable option. 😊
Thanks for the input! BTW, great videos with positive info. Keep up the good work!
Look at the Toyos. I have run them on two rigs. They improved the ride and we're quiet even with agressive tread. Fifth wheel - we love our Grand Design. Really wish I would have run across your channel sooner - I would have gone for the 450 over the 350 we have.
Love the rock chip. Revolutionary!
My wife and I feel in love with the floor plan of the Heritage Glen LTZ 356QB rear bunk with 2 full baths
Good sound advice Big Truck. Keep them coming
I enjoy your videos and find that you explain things in a way that a non mechanical 59 year old woman can understand. I have never driven anything larger than a Ford sedan so I know nothing about the trucks you review, but since I want to buy an RV I need to understand what I need to tow it. Your videos have all the information I am looking for in a format that even I can understand :) Plus I really enjoy your walk throughs of RVs.
Keep up the great work 👍
I’m sometimes critical of your overly cautious towing recommendations but, hands down, your channel and content is some of the best out there! Keep up the great work!
Great Video! Keep it up😄🔥👍👍
I like that your branching out into things other then big trucks and big rv's. I found your channel because I've been looking at buying a camper from TAXA outdoors to tow behind my tacoma and your vids showed up in my suggested. I'm intrigued at least once in all of your videos. my tacoma is not even fifth wheel compatable but you bet i watched your videos on your new goose box setup. keep up the good work!
Based on watching your videos we sold our travel trailer and ended up going with the Sandpiper 372LOK mid-bunk fifth wheel. Has pretty much everything you’ve listed as requirements for your next Rv. It also has an outside kitchen.
I traded in my deleted truck no problem! Keep up the good work!
I can’t wait to see some more aggressive tires on your truck, and I think what you have been doing with the channel lately has been good and can’t wait to see how it keeps growing!
Yokohama Geolander A/T Go15.. I run these on my truck and they do awesome in all conditions. Up north here we get some pretty good snow storm and I never got my truck stuck ones this past winter. I have about 25 thousand miles them and they still look new. I run the 10 ply do to towing.
Great Video!!
Love the videos man. I'd love to see an in depth review of the Colorado zr2 and a true comparison of the diesel vs gas engine.
19.5 tires - Michelin XZE I think is what I had on my Class A - nice and quite on the road - the tire description says sidewalls 3 million miles and 3 retreads. LOVE the tire... mine were Load Range F if I recall ( max pressure 120 psi) Have run Michelin on all my vehicles since I was 4 years old ( okay, Dad did) - currently running Michelin Defender LR E on my F150 for the extra stability for towing, yes probably overkill, but I do NOT worry about tires while towing... just have to do a lot of pressure adjustments ( 50 psi rear empty, 74-76 psi when I tow) but they are nearly silent on fresh pavement and the traction is wonderful and they stay cool - just pulled for 3K miles over concrete ( nice and well maintained to really rough), fresh and old pavement and they did fine - better than fine. Hope this helps
The beautiful Rio Grande Valley 👍
Very informative channel. Glad I watched the vid.
Great video, IMHO a camper will never have everything you want, because you think you have thought it all out, and then you use it a few times, and you're like, man I should have thought of this or that. Our current 5th wheel is a rear living with the kitchen sharing that area, now that we have had 3 years we really like the front living RV's. So I think we can never fully get everything in what we want in a RV, close but not everything,
OMG 😮, can’t stop looking at that windshield crack. 😂
Goodyear G622. You want an aggressive 19.5 tire, that is the one. Not the best for longevity but they bite in all conditions nd they are tough. I have a fleet of ambulances that run the mountains of Colorado in the snow. That is the tire I run for optimum traction.
That is a good looking wheel on your truck.

Great channel - quick question: Have you thought about / looked at a toy hauler for the extra sleeping / activity space? Use the garage as a "durable" living area - plenty of sleeping space that can be cleared out for eating, games, muddy or sandy kids / pets....pluse, you can open the garage door for a more "open" floor plan - even during rain. The more I look at toy haulers, the more I like this idea. Keep up the great videos - let me know if you plan on wandering up to Michigan...
Love the videos keep it up

We purchased a 2018, one very important consideration was having a minimum 12" drop frame. With regards to fixing and upgrades, that why we choose a fifth wheel, have had a few problems (repaired them myself) for instance a hydraulic line developed a large bubble, called Lippert and they sent me a new one free of charge. heard good things about the Toyo M920's.
Nice. I'm currently in the market for a 2016-2018 Ram 2500. Hoping that is good enough to do the job. I drove a 2017 Mega, very nice!
Treadwright, located in Houston makes some good tires, I've used them on my Jeep, and just ordered some for my f250. It the heaviest tire I could find which is good if you don't want to worry about road debris as much.
Happy Belated Fathers Day!! Great video very informative. Everybody has a budget they would like keep, but you would also want, and need a unit that will fit your current needs and future needs. The Columbus 1492 unit you viewed was simply a beautiful rig. I had never seen inside any of those units, 1492 series, they all would work for me. The Montana High Country 5th Wheel-362RD, is a very affordable bunk house, then when kids are gone turn the rear den into your man cave. Thanks for video. Please stay safe during these rain storms coming in your area.

Thanks. Stressful driving through it this morning.
Great videos; extremely informative. Could you do a video comparing hydraulic vs electric auto leveling systems, and hydraulic vs electric slides? Thanks for the videos you have done--really well put together.
Hey there! New fifth wheel camper owner here. We looked at a lot of floor plans and purchased the 2019 Crusader 365RKB. Would you be able to do a thorough overview of it? It's huge (almost 42 ft), spacious (4 slides), my daughter has her own mid bunk room, and we have the king bed in the master. The kitchen is in the very rear of the unit with living space just before that. I pull it with a 2017 F-250 with the 6.7L with ease. It has metal bonded construction, whisper quiet AC, and auto-leveling system. We picked this up for just under 50k.
Please do a review on the Hartland Road Warrior 427 toy haller. Thanks, I would like your opinion.
Making an RV just the way you want , is like saying your done working on your home, ...You're never done. ....We just traded fifth wheels for similar reasons, we kept the same basic floor plan, and just opted for some of the nicer options, auto level, drop frame, better furniture, wider body, ...just a bunch of small items that made a big impact and we are very happy we did. It is definitely hard to justify the cost involved, but we decided to bite the bullet and do it. We now have the nicest fifth wheel for us, to date ( 2018 Forest River Cardinal 3655 )
Again, the Michelin XDS2 is a great tire. More aggressive than the original Conti, yet far smoother and far more stable especially towing. They sing a bit, but it grows on you... living in Ohio, which uses 10x more salt than necessary, I have two sets. One set is all steel wheels and my summer set. XDS2 is a phenomenal snow tire and good in mud, although I did get stuck in red clay/grass a couple weeks ago. I tow a 43 foot horse/RV trailer. AAA Premier RV winched me out. Your nice bumper winch would not have worked in this case-no place to grab or hook to. 😩
Have you ever checked out the jayco north point?? Very nice unit!!
Have you considered a KZ 382MBQ mid bunk 5th wheel? We just got one and are still working out the kinks, but we love it. Good value.
I'm curious on your opinion on slide toppers. In East Texas and the 4 states area we have very shady campsites which is a must with the warmer temperatures. Seems like it would save a lot on debris on the slides.
In regards to some things I wish our trailer had. 1- a second sink. 2- a proper pantry. 3. Night shade over door window. All the others have them. 3 a bigger kitchen sink. 4. Drawers for cutlery etc. Currently we have 2016 livinlite bhs.
I agree about the dually however our new Montana is 13,400 loaded and my 2016 F350 PSD Crew Cab SB hsa no issue towing and I am not overweight, or over on Payload. If I went a little bigger then I would be too close but I use my truck as an everyday driver, so didn't want the hassle of a dually just for something I tow 10-12 times per year
Really looking forward to your next RV shopping adventure videos. My wife and I are about a year or two out from doing the same thing unless a deal pops up to good to pass up. We will be getting out of a travel trailer and going with a mid bunk 5th. So far I am really eyeing the Cedar Creek Silverback 37MBH due to the loft having steps instead of a ladder to trip over in the hallway. I can not find another floorplan that uses the steps over the ladder or they would be a consideration.
What is your openion about the keystone sprinter line specifically the 2021 3550 MLS?
Hi Budd, Going by your beginning topic I hope that you consider testing the upcoming Ford Ranger in different trim levels. An of course I'm hoping to see the next Bronco on your channel. Thanx for all the great info!
Hey boss I just wanted to say thank you for what you do, and show us, and share with us.. I tried to find your video from your 1st or 2nd install of the B and W 5th wheel hitch Because I was looking for a specific Video that you shared on what you did to lock that hits down so somebody couldn't come up and just take it out of your truck I think I remember you had some special lock or something that you lock the handles so no one could remove it from your truck. I just recently got my 1st B+W Companion hitch like yours and I love it, but I wanna make sure that I can lock it in the truck and no one can take it out when I'm inside somewhere. So if you could point me in that direction or show me what you used I would greatly appreciate it... Anyway thanks again talk to you soon
Great gas prices there in Texas. Maybe that guy driving 100mph down the center lane wanted to fill up before they raised prices like out here in CA? lol. 167 ---> 🎯
2 questions.. well 3... what do you do with rock chips, and have you considered a composting toilet? (instead of the regular water wasting/ black water increasing /shortened boondocking time/ standard version..) OR since you have a 5th wheel do you only stay in places that have sewer hookups..?
I still miss that white f450 you had. And I got a question. What's a good upgrade for a 99 ram 8ft bed that's less than 200 dollars
Would like to see more "Big" Rvs. Class C's and A's.
@Big Truck Big RV damn if you didn't have the 19.5 inch wheel, i would've suggested the procomp extreme mt2 but i don't think they make those for a 19.5 inch wheel.
For your next rv you need to seriously consider Montana 5th wheels I've been dragging mine all over the country pipelining for almost 3 years and have had absolutely zero issues with it and that's living in it full time
I really hope you find a more aggressive tire that rides better and helps with the wondering. I am in the same boat. Please record the mounting and balancing process.
Can you please do a review for used fifth wheels to buy for couples ? Thank you for your videos
People delete their trucks and keep the parts to throw them in when it's time to either emissions checks or when it's time to sell it.
The wife and I are looking into moving fill time into a 2017 keystone Montana 3661rl. We loved the floor plan and over all setup it has. I wondered if you ever had the chance to check one out or review one. Curious what your thoughts might be on this fifth wheel. Thank you for all your valuable advice.

Personally I would never purchase a Keystone Montana. Please look beyond the interior finishes, look online at customer service after the purchase! Very important especially if you are going to become a fulltimer. Just because Montana is a popular seller does not mean it is the best.
Can you do a video on the best fifth wheel brands such as Reese and Blue Ox
Michelin. I like the strength of the new trucks just not all the tech and price. But too each their own. Have you thought of a Titan tank for the 450?
I kept all all of the stock parts when I deleted my 2014 f250 just in case I ever decided to get rid of it. The couple hundred bucks people offer you for your dpf isn’t worth it. If I remember correctly it cost me around $2500 for ez lynk, egr delete, full exhaust, and cai.
Can you showcase the Jeep liberty I know the 2006 Diesel was powerful but are the current ones better or worse.
Good Q&A
Could you review a Honda Pilot? I'm thinking of purchasing one for my family of 5.
good vid
Lol, I immediately knew that was a rock chip because I have one exactly like it in the same identical spot. Thanks to the tractor trailer in front of me. 😔
You keep the emissions equipment wrapped up in a corner and return it to stock if you plan to trade it in
Also, are you really looking forward to seeing the new Ram heavy duty trucks, and the new GM trucks as I am?

Hello again, Mr. BTBRV. I see you are looking for a new 5th wheel with some specific features? I have asked you a few times before to do a video of a Montana 5th wheel. I still have not seen a video from you, but I bought my 2018 Montana 3560RL anyway. Have you taken a look at the 2019 Montana 3950RL? It has many if not all of the features you are seeking, like the loft, day roller shades on all windows, additional separate bedroom (bunk area), auto leveling, king size bed, the drop frame construction for outstanding lower garage storage, your preferred Sailun tires, and the MorRYde fold down steps. I bought the 3560RL for my wife and I as a couples coach, but you should take a look at the 3950BR. KZread has a great full length video by Ian Baker. I have watched many videos of 5th wheels, and this guy does one of the best jobs speaking to all the details. Hope this helps. Phil
Problem with a dually in Massachusetts is you have to register them as commercial
You forgot to call out the car @7:32!!!! LOL
I am looking for a full time 5th wheel toy hauler. Can you give me some suggestions?
You should do a live q and a session sometime!
I am going to have to drive several HUNDRED miles west to get it; but I have decided to get a Outdoors RV that is made in Oregon. The quality is unmatched at that price point.

You cannot go wrong with them. Same folks that make the Arctic Fox brand. I’m on my second one and love it. Best deals seem to come from the dealers closest to the factory like la grande or boise.
Just curious, would you recommend an F450 over an F350 for towing a fifth wheel with a gvwr of 15500 lbs? Looking for a new truck to replace my Chevy 2500 short bed, mainly because towing that amount of weight is very tiresome! All recommendations welcome.

the only reason to me is the significantly tighter turning radius. Super handy when parking and backing in a fifth wheel.
That red truck just maybe a Texas Tweeker vehicle
In California, if you delete DEF and other exhaust components and are cited by CHP, you will have to put your truck back to stock or scrap it.
Check out the Grand Design Solitude 3740BH. I think you will really like the floor plan.

Bridgestone M729 we run them in all positions on the work trucks
then why is it not required to use ONLY a dully for cab over campers? as some of them get very heavy, and all of them are very top heavy and make great wind sails.
Omgosh the whisper quiet a/c, auto-level & day/night shades are all a must have. I'm especially thrilled over the more quiet a/c personally. What I'd like to know is what you've done to your pickup to make it worth 90k? For the past 2 years I've been looking at fully loaded pickups (my favorite of course is the GMC Denali or Sierra 1 ton or 3/4 ton diesel...never gas) and the stickers top out just under 65k at the highest. I'd love a tour of your truck! Old videos on that? I also had the chip put in mine when I bought it but sadly it was broken into and stolen (damaged my interior) for something that they I'm sure have no idea what it's for nor can use. That car at 5:55? Yeah he'll wipe out someone who is innocent and he probably doesn't have insurance, smh! Edit: I'd rethink that king sized bed!!! That's what we went this last time and although I love the roominess of it trying to put the sheets on it weekly and (omg) the mattress cover is a challenge. I'd never go king again, you simply lose too much room. You don't realize how much difference those extra 12 inches make until you're stuck with it.

Great points and good question about my truck. So the sticker price of my truck was $84,500. I have driven a 2018 Denali Dually that had a $75,080 sticker, but not sure what features it has that the ones you built did not. In regards to accessories added to my truck, Ive added nearly $15,000 in upgrades ranging from the custom paint matched front and rear bumpers to the suspension, accessory and lighting enhancements. The reason my truck carries such a higher sticker prices is mainly because of all the technology features that currently are not available from other manufactures, such as a true 360 degree camera system (with selectable side view only cameras), Radar Adaptive Cruise Control, Massaging front seats (true massaging and not just vibration), Actually Cooling front seats (not just ventilating like GM and RAM), higher end leather interior (on King Ranch), Tailgate step, full LED lighting (vs just accent lighting on GM and RAM trucks), much higher max towing capacity (8,000lbs+ greater than the max towing of 23,100lbs from GM trucks), significantly more rear seat legroom (7" more leg room), Rear AC vents for back seat passengers, Dual Pane Sunroof, Completely powered Towing Mirrors (with Power Extend as well as folding vs GMs folding only mirrors), 3" Trailer Receiver (vs 2.5" on GM), Dual Layer side windows (noise reduction), 400watt AC outlets, 19.5" 10-Lug Commercial Wheels, DANA M300 Medium Duty Axle, and the most important to me is the Wide Track front Axle. It gives the F450 a 7.5ft tighter turning radius. So all of that plus more custom luxury trim appearance options (Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited) to meet specific customer cosmetic likes. All of these "features" would add to to well over the $10,000 difference in price between a fully loaded Denali 3500 and the F450 (Plat, KR, or Limited) truck. Hope that helps.

Big Truck Big RV. Thank you for all of the information! I'm still drooling over your "real" massaging seats. My poor surgery ridden spine could really use that! In both of our GMC's (the pickup and the Suburban Denali (full length) we have seperate a/c vents with personal climate control on each. That comes in handy because I'm always too hot when everyone else is too cold. I'm seriously loving those upgrades you described. 👍
@Big Truck Big RV don't forget about getting a toy hauler haha jk.
If you do the delete your self and keep all of the equipment you can reinstall it before you trade it in so you won't lose any money on your trade
You should also do a video explaining the differences between different truck brands!
The "Delete" question always comes up when your talking about newer diesels. Personally, I am in favor of it. My solution is to keep all the original components so if you decide to sell they can either be reinstalled or offered to the new buyer. Problem solved, in my opinion, just saying. Love the vids by the way.
Did you know that if you take your deleted truck into a dealership and they find that it’s been deleted they can’t return the truck to you until it’s been restored to factory original condition. That’s an EPA requirement.
100k subs coming up soon!
Maybe a few times a month you should drive around pointing out "bad" drivers and or weird things people do (like the iPhone charging cable !! LoL
Full delete cost between $1500-$3000 low end is doing the install yourself with some of the less expensive components and high end would be the most expensive componens being installed by a shop
Look up a channel called powerstroke help diesel. He can help you with that. He has a tune that adjust your emission system, still installed, that doesn't void your warranty. Love your videos keep it up my good sir
What are you driving in this video?
What are your thoughts on Jayco Eagle HT fifth wheels?

Kevin Kempton: I like their midbunk. Has the closest thing to our kitchen.
A big, fat, wet raspberry to all the naysayers. If someone wants a $65K trailer, good. Get it. Want a $150K fiver? Good. Get it. I'm sticking with my older diesel /34 ton (will be fixing it up) and converting a cargo trailer into an RV. Fine for me- might not be for someone else. That's been the beauty of RV's since the 1920's- the owner can build/buy/remodel any way they want, as long as it fits DOT standards. Other than that, HAVE FUN!
