None of those resembled a club sandwich in any way. I was excited to see three really well made and creative takes on that classic - staying true to its form. Let down. Only Kaleena should have advanced. Made the two smartest dishes even if she doesn't know what a club sandwich is or why we like to eat them.

The show is so boring this year. Kristen is a great second judge, but she's not a host. She ive watched her for years and i have NO idea what her perspective. I know tom wants you to expect the food and he loves to be surprised. Gail looks for elegance and to taste every ingredient. Kristen...um.. just smiles. And since the cast is lackluster, her hosting "abilities" really stand out. I'll be back at the end of the season. Maybe.

Kristen doesn’t have the empathy, emotional intelligence and eloquence of Padma. Padma was professional but understanding and supportive. Kristen comes off super arrogant (though she might not be it, it might be the insecurity)

@@vanjaw1146 Kristen definitely feels insecure in this role. I liked the "tension" Padma brought. She had firm opinions and announced the competition with strength. To me, padma was rooting for them to do their best but wasn't afraid to announce a winner. The need to find someone who enjoys competition and has strong opinions. Richard Blaze seems like such an obvious host.

Love Soo. He brings a fresh attitude that harks back to the intense, driven creatives that reminds me of vintage contestants like Blaize, Huang and M Volt. Apart from Buddha, I’ve missed the driven intensity of the old days.

It makes me so sad to watch the show this year. I have been a fan for 20 years. The cast this year SUCKS. There is maybe 2 qualified contestants. Moreover the challenges are horrible. So contrived and random. The pacing is off. And Kristen is boring. So, so upset.
