‘Whole govt’ bears ‘collective responsibility’ for supporting Palestine vote: Greg Sheridan

The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan has slammed Labor for their support of the United Nations vote on Palestine, saying the whole government bears “collective responsibility” for the decision.
“I think the whole government bears collective responsibility for this,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“It makes completely transactional decisions based on the lowest common denominator in domestic politics.”

It seems to be Labor's mission to divide Australians on rich/poor, religious lines, on race and heritage through the referendum, on identity politics, on energy, education and so on. It is sad that we have a political party that refuses to represent all Australians equally in order to unify Australia. This will also weaken Australia strategically and Labor is playing into the hands of potential enemies or groups that may become enemies in future. I think that Bob Hawke's views on this topic were correct and perhaps Labor should think what the party actually stands for. Before the election, Albanese mentioned that there will be no big changes but what we see now, that the entire country is turned upside down on many fronts along the lines of Peter Garrett, "once we get in we'll change it all" and the Labor party operating model, "...with whatever it takes and at any cost...".

Greg Sheridan will no doubt remember Labor abolished the Public Service Board which oversaw the Public Service Act of 1901 in which appointment to PS office by patronage and nepotism was against the law. The legislation was specifically designed to limit non-British migration to Australia. Labor struck down that policy and introduced the idea of multiculturalism. One can see the consequences of cancelling merit; it has reached its way into the quality of sitting MP's who are advised by groups such as "The Push". As an aside I notice the former leading feminists have left the Labor party in droves and in some cases they have even left the country. Since patronage and nepotism was abandoned, feminists had been appointed as "advisers" to government ministers. Similarly many other advisers were rusted on Labor supporters. That's what happens when patronage and nepotism became legally possible.

Rather than standing alone for Truth with (Israel), Penny Wong has aligned Australia to bowing down along with the UN on the side of Liars! Who the oppressor now, the whole world against Israel a population 7 million state half the size of Tasmania against UN antisemitic world view; supporting Arab Muslim long-term agenda, the destruction of Israel. Shame! Cowards! Like a piece of rotten driftwood floating away with the current of antisemitism. Israel wars! War of independence 1948-49 The Suez war of 1956 The Six Day War of 1967 The War of Attrition 1967-1970 Yon Kippur war of 1973 The Lebanon war of 1982 The First Intifada of 2000-05 Hezbollah war 2006 First Gaza war of 2008-09 2nd Gaza war of 2012 3nd Gaza war of 2014 13th War - 4th Gazan war of 2024 All Israel war been fought self defence, the war continues on because the Palestinian and most Arabs states refuse to accept Israel as a Jewish State. Labor party ignorant of the truth... appeasing Middle East oil and trade by appeasing UN bias hostilities towards the State of Israel.

What for? They were already free ... They are nomads from Iran , Jordan , Syria who settled in land. It's not theirs just because they historically settled there. They bring on their own troubles being a nation of terrorism supporters and having a hatred for the Jews. Palestine had been offered a settlement time and again... They don't want to settle they want to userp Israel . The death and starvation of women and children is their own making.

I've never voted Labor because I do not think people with a union background have an understanding of how to manage a country & all that entails, however I have always tried to keep an open mind regarding politics which is after all a difficult discipline to understand from the average Aussie's point of view. This latest decision by Albanese shows his true colours, he is an islamist, he has consorted with them, as evidenced by the video posts on here from his past & maybe is even being paid by them but for whatever reason he has no place in Australian government with his approval of this absurd notion that a bunch of criminal barbarian monsters have the right to a state of their own in the world when they have proven their destructive intent to resort to medieval barbarism.

Before the vote for the UN resolution on Friday, US had urged other member states to vote against it. In a major snub to the US support to Israel amid ongoing Gaza war, 143 countries voted in favor of a United Nations( UN) resolution to grant additional rights to Palestinians. Bloody hell how can so many countries get it wrong including Australia.
