If the leak about story dlc is correct, we will see Kuai Liang and Harumi's wedding, with Liu Kang has to deal with Bi-Han bs and Titan Havik invasion. Seem like Bi-Han could be the final boss for the story dlc, like Evil Bi-Han or Dark Bi-Han (is not Noob Saibot, but clearly a direct references)

@@shawziiz5031Titan Havik was directly teased as an upcoming big villain, but I don't personally see him as the invading type. In the post-credit scene, he was ranting about how the chaos of the final battle was exhilirating to him. I think he'll just want a good fight. I hope though that they won't do much more multiversal invasion stuff and keep that to the seasons, with the story DLC focusing more on this universe and its characters. I didn't mind the finale going full off the rails and actually enjoyed the fact they made MK11's bad ending the actual villain here, but I'd prefer if going forward, they'd refocus the game on this era's characters instead of bringing in new ones from other timelines. That stuff is good for invasions, but not so much for the main plot.

@@darklord884 I personally hate MK1 story because of this multiverse bs. But sadly, that how mostly it gonna happen for the dlc story. The leak state that Havik wanted to spread chaos on all timelines, dooming every reality to endless war. In the sense, that is an invasion for all timeline and Liu Kang has to deal with that since Liu Kang's reality is the prime reality for MK multiverse (think of DC prime earth and Marvel 616-earth). If Liu Kang's timeline is destroyed, it will effect other timelines as well, hence why the whole Invasion mode is about every timeline try to invade Liu Kang's timeline, to gain control of the main reality from Liu Kang. But like I said, if the leak were indeed true, seem like Titan Havik just act like a build up villain, but end up with Bi-Han as the final boss.

It also kinda reflects on our assumptions on what 'ally' means nowadays and given Peacemaker is an asshole, it kinda makes fun of us too. All that in just two lines about loving girl on girl at the end of the day. Genius.

@ianramirez9090Thing is, homosexuality was never an issue in the MK universe. It wasn't meant to be a big thing and it was never portrayed as anything people are disadvantaged or ostracised for. The most you could point to is Kung Jin worrying the White Lotus monks wouldn't accept him because he's gay, which Raiden immediately says is untrue. On the flipside, it's even less of an issue in Edenia/Outworld, as we can even see clearly in the story. Kitana isn't worried about Mileena dating a woman and causing a scandal, she is worried that dating an Umgadi bodyguard is forbidden by rule. Which is honestly kinda reasonable since if the bodyguard is sleeping with the person they are supposed to guard, that might prove a distraction and endanger their charge. As a character, Tanya has virtually no reason to consider 'ally' to mean anything in relation to LGBTQ and so she doesn't, which is good since it keeps things consistent with the world and her character. It's the little, subtle things that can prove amazing sometimes. It'd be super easy to turn Mileena and Tanya's relationship into a cheap grab at LGBTQ topics, but since it's not in their character to worry about it, NRS didn't write it into their dialogue.
