“It’s giving stfu” should’ve been a blurb quote on the cover. The sequel/finale did the impossible by making the first book seem like it made sense in comparison.

Two of the greatest sins in this book: Fin only told brie that he wanted to help her but didn't say what he wanted in return, also Brie says that she watched Bash practice in the yard when she reads a book when she said before that she barely has any time.

I had that realization while reading Fable that I think it’s time for me to leave YA behind and read NA 😂 some of the YA writing is just too cringe

I feel the same. I’m half way done with Fable and I feel if I had read it at 13 or 14 I would have loved it. But now I’m just kind of bored and annoyed. Doesn’t mean the book is bad just think I’m no longer in a position to enjoy it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I actually really liked Cinderella is dead, but I hated the ending. The ending was so rushed and badly written

Okay so my thing with these YA books is just that I go into thinking that it's not gonna be great. I recieved These hollow vows from Fairyloot (before I finally canceled my subscription because I'm done with YA) and decided I did want to read it because I own it. And I was annoyed the whole book. I was excited in the end, just because of the "love interest". I hated one part of it but the actually ending made me buy the second book because I'm a sucker for easy to ready, cheesy, bad books 😂 I do really enjoy not reading YA but sometimes.. I just need this shit to read fast and have a laugh lol. But yeah, in the end? It's so badly written.

honestly I absolutely hated this book and I now recall why so I feel validated by this

brie is freye and bryce mixed together because bryce had to work for that lady in the library to pay off the debt or whatever
