Unfortunately there are religious fanatics everywhere, this is not the first time and won't be the last time either. Convincing people that killing in the name of a god is easy with weak minded people, there are so many cases out there, too many, and there is always a leader.

You asked the panel a while back why wouldn’t you bring up another charge for the others who were murdered and the panel argued that it’s a waste of tax payer dollars and they’re going to be convicted anyway. The answer is TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE LOSS OF LIFE OFFICIALLY. To give closure to the families and acknowledge that their loved ones life was valuable and seen.

It is the murder of Christians and Jews that far outnumber other killings based on religion. There are still daily mass murders of Christians and daily rockets into Israel. And the whole Palestinian problem is the commitment of every indoctrinated Gazan to kill every single Jew. The scale weighs very heavy against Judeo-christian culture (which does not include Mormons.) And it does seem like there have been many murderous cults spawned by the LDS religion. I heard there's a book about "the Mormon murders." @@Planet_Shel

Grown up, responsible men don't get "snatched" by promiscuous women. Men are not objects and they are not animals, they make DECISIONS. Chad had a loving and dedicated wife who obeyed him and worked hard so he can lazy around. He COULD have said no, but he CHOSE not to. He talked big about religion, but he turned out to be rotten to the core, a liar and a cheating fornicator himself. As we just heard, he made that decision over and over again. The traditional, patriarchal, misogynist "it's always the woman's fault" theory is outdated and false. Lori is a monster, but Chad was not her slave. He was a husband of 30 years, a father and a "believer," so he and only he carries the responsibility for his disgusting and criminal actions.

At first it was because he was jealous of his siblings successes, wanted the same attention Julie Rowe was getting and used it to control his family. He used it to flirt with women. I don't think Lori believes it either. I think she pretended because she enjoyed the attention from their little cult and she could get her dirty work done by others. Chad preached even before he met Lori that Rexburg was going to be the new Holy Land and thats where the 144,000 had to be. Alex's password was 2manykids. Not to mention how heavily involved in Brandon's attempted murder Melani was. How she wasn't charged for anything is beyond me. How a judge could give her joint custody is too. Lori was telling everyone Melani would have enough money to take care of the whole cult because they thought she'd end up with Brandon's $1mil life insurance. This is absolutely sickening. Lori and Chad manipulated each other to get what they wanted. I mean Lori was looking to Chad to get light/dark numbers. The kids were dark when they misbehaved but when they behaved, they were switched back to light. And the numbers.... Where TF did Chad come up with these numbers. "I'll text you when they start acting up and we will zap them" is a very disturbing comment to me. Then when Tylee and JJ's numbers increased, Lori was disappointed that the number wasn't at zero. It's like they were just waiting for the right time for Tylee, JJ, and Tammy's numbers to be just right to justify killing them. Charles, JJ, Tylee and Tammy were just obstacles and never stood a chance against these monsters. Then talking about sex right in the middle of talking about the demise of her kids. How disgusting!!!! It's like two horny teenagers who just don't give a damn about anyone but themselves.

Here we are at Chads trial and he wasn't delusional at all , he just wanted Lori period without the kids . We all knew his defense was going to throw Lori and Alex under the bus and that's exactly what's happening. We know he told several women that they had been married in another life , I think he was having a mid life crisis and then he met Lori and its fantasy land . He was enjoying a good looking woman and all the power he thought he had , its disgusting and the smallest cult I've ever heard of . I hope he gets life like she did , he was the one giving this group all the answers so he will be held accountable for that . RIP Charles who btw I thought was a very handsome man , Tammy I hope she haunts him and those poor children Tylee and JJ ❤

sharonda’s viewpoints are really useful. But, it is difficult to hear what she is saying. Can someone in the technology team of Court TV help Sharonda out with her microphone? It’s really muffled and quiet. Apart from that little gripe, this was a great show. I was particularly fascinated in hearing from Adam Cox. His sister was a leader in a murderous cult and his brother committed several murders. He must be devastated. I hope he is getting all the support he needs.

Alex Cox was as delusional as Lori. They were both heavily into all their religious beliefs for a long time including end of days theories. They both grew up in a Mormon household then as adults moved further into their own version of religious beliefs. It was also mentioned that Alex had an "inappropriate relationship with Lori" which was claimed by his first wife Debbie, who quickly divorced him when she realised this. Alex was seen as Lori's Hitman. He roughed up Lori's first husband Joseph Ryan then killed her husband Charles Vallow. Chad & Lori further convinced Alex that in a religious context that he was assigned by God to be Lori's protector. He was then coerced, under perceived instructions from Chad & Lori via God to attempt to murder Tammy and Brandon by shooting at them and then convinced to play his part in the murders of Tammy, Tylee & JJ. Alex was all in to this cult like environment with Chad at the helm and Lori by his side.
