Yes, Hudson has always been shady but always for the greater good. After all, had he not broken Mason out of mind control in BO1, the world would have ended in WW3. He was also lying at the end of Suffer With Me to save David, implying that this Mole who we were looking for kidnapped Hudson.

Actually the whole games Mason was part of the CIA. In his files, he used to be a Marine Captain. But since the first mission, Op 40, he was a CIA Agent. Even in Vietnam, he was attached to MAC-V-SOG. These guys were a group of SF from the whole U.S military (Navy, Marines, Army, Airforce) and CIA. So Mason was a CIA Paramilitary Operations Officer since 1958. You never see him as a Marine the whole game. So on paper he's not even a "Military Soldier" at all since the CIA is not part of the military, hence PARAmilitary

When Hudson said "I have two kids they..." Menendez taking Hudson's family as a hostage, forcing him to kidnap David and Misleading Mason and Woods

1. Hudson tried to stop Woods from interrogating Kravchenko because Woods was a lunatic with an insane amount of PTSD relating to Menendez. 2. Kravchenko had no reason to tell the truth, and Hudson had no reason to believe he was telling the truth. 3. Hes only standing there because you aren't supposed to see him once Mason gets knocked to the ground. Treyarch had no reason to animate something that players wouldn't see. 4. It would more than likely be Raul Menendez. If he wasn't in the body bag then non-corrupt PDF would've captured him. Josefina was also way closer to the grenade, and since theres a massive hole in his house, I doubt there would be a lot of her left to carry in a body bag. 5.Hudson didn't "Lie" to Woods and Mason that Menendez was dead. He 100% thought Menendez was dead at that point due to the massive hole in Menendez's compound. The only people who would've known Menendez was still alive would-be Noriega or other affiants to Menendez. 6. Hudson was a mole who was only a mole during 1989, you would know if you paid attention to the cutscene during the final part of suffer with me. The suffer with me part is the only correct thing about this video.

I don't agree with number 3, there's no reason to not animate him, especially with the budget they had and the fact that black ops players were trained by playing the first game, to look for tiny details if they didn't animate him getting taken down for your reasons, that shows laziness and a weird lack of care for a story that had a lot of it

Something to consider is that it doesn't make sense for Menendez to restrain and later kill Hudson if he had been supporting him as the mole up to that point. Menendez is cunning and patient enough not to let his anger compromise his strategy for revenge, and a CIA mole is a huge asset that he has no reason to kill off at that point since he wanted to play the long game to make them suffer (to break Woods physically by disabling him, and mentally by making him kill Mason then one day corrupting David). I also would have figured that Hudson, if he was the mole, would have known that Menendez never planned to kill David as he was part of the plan to make them suffer. Unless the case is that Hudson refused to go along with punishing Mason and Woods (which doesn't make sense if he's been betraying them for years), or Menendez saw it as punishment for not stopping Woods from killing Josefina. If the latter is the case, there's no explanation as to why he didn't inform Menendez of the mission that kills Josefina prior to it occurring? Idk, I think Hudson being the mole has too many things that don't line up. I definitely think we'll find out who the real mole is in the next game, but something's gonna happen that causes Hudson to forever be labeled as the traitor in history (implied by how much Woods still despises him)

i have a feeling that Hudson isn't the mole, i think that someone close to Hudson is the actual mole, Hudson and this "friend" both know that "friend" is the mole, not only that but "friend" is higher ranked than Hudson in the CIA and he also has some dirt on Hudson. Which means that Hudson is carrying all of the mole actions for this "friend", then after the mission in Panama where Hudson and Mason die, Adler gets wind of what happened and knows that they couldn't screw up that easily since they were very good at their jobs and since Adler gets the job done and can get any info at all costs, "friend" the higher CIA ranked person blames Adler for all the mole accusations and is forcing Adler into hiding. if i were to look for who this "friend of Hudson" is, i think that "friend"=Black from BOCW, he is close enough to the President and could be very close to Hudson since they look like they've worked together for many years or at least a lot of time, which means he has access to every information that it exists. it s all just a theory from the people that we already know, but it can also be someone that was never introduced to us before

Maybe Kravchenko was vaguely implying to Hudson that he was blindly supporting and helping Raul Menendez but with more of a twisted sentence to keep Mason, Woods, and Hudson guessing at Menendezs game plan. Hell maybe the mole could be Russel Adler supporting Menendez for what reason he might find fit and suitable for himself.

Hudson has always been shifty and distant to both Woods and Mason, but I don't think he's the mole. McKnight went dark on Mason and Woods before they got to Noriega and never contacted anyone. If Hudson isn't the mole, McKnight could have captured him for Menendez and that's why Menendez has Hudson during Suffer With Me. Adler? I don't really trust at all, so either way, whether or not he's the mole, wouldn't surprise me. Not sure if there's any evidence of him being a mole, he's just very distant from everyone else, focused on his own things. But that could be a cover for him being the mole. I'm not exactly sure who's the mole, but McKnight is who I'm guessing most likely is.

I feel like they would’ve stretched out McKnights character more or at least gave Easter eggs/references to him being a mole or shady person. I think his job in that mission was to support mason and woods for their original goal in capturing Noriega and once they did that that’s when he vanished. It’s the same thing how there wasn’t any other navy seal to help mason and woods during the part of the mission when they were captured.

I don't think it was McKnight either, you could briefly see him on top of a building providing cover fire for you, that leaves the window for him helping Menendez very short if not impossible, he also didn't know about Hudson changing plans. He probably just got assigned elsewhere and had problems with comms like everybody else.

Hudson wasn't a mole. His family and David were both in the hands of Menendes. He chose to be a husband and father first. I'm also pretty sure that he told Alex what was going on and Alex came along quietly to save his son. The reason he decided that he would sacrifice himself was because he knew that if he lived, himself and his family would be ruined and he would be revealed as the "mole" that chose his family over the CIA. With Woods being alive, he knew that things could be set right in the future

I don’t think the mole is McKnight or Hudson, we got so little of McKnight that it wouldn’t make sense for him, Hudson was protecting David so he technically ain’t a mole, I could maybe see Adler do a Shepherd and help both sides to make himself look like the hero, but I doubt it too

Hudson was keeping classified information classified. Of course he wouldn’t tell the CIA’s muscle anything he or his superior would deem unnecessary. He could’ve fought and fought after Mason and the boys confronted him, but instead he played it cool and explains everything.

It's adler though , probably menendez brainwashed him and used him as a dog..

Hudson is innocent. hes a sketchy guy,, but not exactly willing to help on his own accord. Not Adler too, he wouldn't deal with Menendez, onky if he would be used as an asset.

I don't think it would be adler cuz 1 he wasn't a character till black ops cold war, 2 what reason would he have to be the mole and set hudson mason and woods, 3 we already saw in the trailer for black ops 6 Adler & woods were working together to find the mole. yes he did brainwash you to bring Perseus down but that was one thing. hudson always seemed fishy since black ops 2 and cold war so he could be the mole but he's already dead. so that leaves us with McKnight yes we only saw him and heard of the name in suffer with me but after you capture noreaga he goes dark no other orders from him plus the leader of your army would have you do more objectives then just cover fire across the roof to capture noreaga. now here me out noreaga was seen with menendez and also released him from the cuffs so capturing noreaga was all just a distraction for McKnight to capture david and noreaga having woods assassinate mason. plus you gotta think if menendez died from the gernade or the building collapse then woods hudson and mason would've died. look this is just a theory that i had so whatever cod wants they can but idk thats my theory

I think it would be Adler since he killed bell for any loose ends between himself and bell. And in the last season when Adler and Stitch where facing each other, the screen turns black with the sound of a gunshot. But we still haven’t seen if Adler actually killed stitch or not.

You don’t build up a story like that and not have Stitch die. After all the stuff Stitch did to Alder, I’d call it character homicide to have Adler let Stitch live

Adler 100% killed stitch cause BO6 takes place after Cold War and some parts of BO2 it wouldn’t make sense for him to still be alive since he won’t be of any relevance for the new plot and Adler is seen alive so he’s not dead

Hudson took a bullet for his team. He was too deep in pages of CIA Information, him being around still would render him a liability, and we all know the CIA loathes loose ends. Woods, on the other hand, was just part of the CIA’s paramilitary. He couldn’t (and wouldn’t, as Raul Menendez himself would find out) tell him anything that mattered. Woods could get out and properly take care of David himself. Plus, Woods was an absolute unit anyway, a couple of lost kneecaps wouldn’t do much for a man that was left to rot in a container of his own group’s corpses and endured.

So... is Black Ops II part of the new COD lore? I knew Black Ops I was, but if Black Ops II is, the 2025 stuff is gonna get kinda hairy. How is all that supposed to work?

BO2 is still apart of the lore since BO6 trailer woods is in a wheel chair post “suffer with me” mission all the past missions of BO2 are canon so for now forget about the 2025 future missions they are canon but BO6 is more focused on before those events could be more of a explaining plot holes/ loose ends type stuff

Also here’s a timeline of The Black Ops Series in Chronological order (Campaign wise) {Cod WAW}- {BO1}- {Black ops Cold War} - {COD Declassified} (it’s a psvita game it’s when we first learn about Raul but we don’t actually face him just gathering intel on the potential threat he may face in the future I think we kill his father in this one?) - {BO2} (only the past missions don’t count the future missions for the sake of focusing on Mason and woods story not David’s) - {BO6} (idk what will happen but what we know for certain it takes place after the past missions of bo2 woods crippled by Raul, Mason dead? Or in hiding at this time leading up the 2025 lore) - {BO2} (This is where we begin with the Future missions with some flashbacks and Old man woods helping David Take down Menendez as he’s the current threat to the US and other countries) - {BO4} (obviously no campaign but with the specialists mode we learn from cutscenes of Savannah Mason she is creating Architectypes and she’s raising the dead also betrays her sister Jessica Green Mason idk overall confusing) - {BO3} (do I really need to explain BO3? Fine. basically the character we play as in the first mission died after a failed emergency surgery for the “super soldier program” the rest of the campaign is from the eyes of John Taylor of who also participated in the super soldier program along side our character and the “John Taylor” antagonist we see is actually supposed to be a man named “Dylan Stone” the whole real version of the plot of BO3 is in the comic book Treyarch sold but the one we play through is a simulation and the ending of BO3 is basically John Taylor destroying Corvus and preventing the infection to spread to the rest of the world.

I could see Adler getting back at the CIA for making him a wanted criminal after what happend in cold war hes a man not to be fucked with he spent time to rewire a human being with MK-ULTRA just to save amarica I think it would be fitting if he got fucked over by the government he loved and sought out revenge intentionally or unintentionally Mk knight to me was just someone to help with the jobs we did in Bl2 kinda in our position Hutson was the one I expected since I beat BO2 recently probably having his hands tied and wanting to protect section while he was a child and since back then its canon Mason and Hutson died he main goal was to save section I personally hope they do a twist where everyone who was taking and covering the game was just fully lying like the tagline [The truth lies] 4:22

Definitely is Hudson McKnight was only a dude in between the Hudson’s squad (the most badass CIA squad lol) Adler was a manipulator,and he got brainwashed like Bell and Mason(I don’t remember well the CW Seasons) ANNNNNNND,The game says that Hudson’s family was threatened by Menedez to trap his squad-mates but it can more earlier because: he killed Krav when he says that have a mole inside CIA(who killed was woods btw) He was acting strange in “Time and fate”(Nicaragua’s mission) AND He CALLED Mason for the last operation (Suffer with Me mission)

It boggles my mind that some people still think that Hudson is the mole. If you play all the BO games and read the emails in BO1, you'll know that it makes no sense for him to be the mole. He was only captured by Menendez in Panama and did what he was told to save David's life.

1. Hudson was only a mole for Menendez from the Panama Invasion to his death in the furnace room. The mole of the CIA would capture David which would force Hudson to work with Menendez. The following missions set in 1986 Hudson was NOT the mole, but rather a small team of people, it's entirely unknown who or how many people were apart of Menendez's cia team. 2. Kravenchko is either killed by Woods or Mason, no canon answer. Hudson only said he was bullshiting because Menendez was a gun dealer in Nicaragua and was almost completely out of the question. 3. How was he acting strange in Time and Fate? It would make 0 sense for him to capture Menendez if he was working with him, instead having Menendez leave his compound. 4. Hudson was the mole during 1989 but what are you trying to get at? for your last point?
