hmmm... in the "on the games" writings, the focus was more on the faithful servants of God and what to pay attention to and not to do. (1) Pay attention to heretics that say, none may sin from ignorance, real nor pretending. Also, (2) pay attention to the influence of the pleasure that has the capability to disassemble and last, to (3) pay attention to the Heathens that still charms and say that gratification for man by watching the games and is not a sin and God is not offended. In the prescription of the Heretics, we, the faithful always fall but thru Christ then we are saved as long as we maintain that deep-seated faith in the Son of Man and of God. This is my way of understanding Tertullian. Great lecture. Thank you.

Jesus is Lord! Your 1914 special revelation is false doctrine. Repent and put your trust in Christ alone! No tongues or works can you add to the perfect sacrifice of the Lamb of God! It is grace by faith we are saved. Not by works. No one comes to the Father but by Me-Jesus Christ

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." -Matthew 23:9.... Tertullian fulfills Colossians 2:8... He made Pagan Trinity and deceived many people even to this day.

tertullian was never a pagan , he even said that the father is the one true God , to understand the trinity read the athanasian creed !

Islam is the only Divine Truth of GOD Almighty. All I hear from Christians is opinionated and wishful thinking of ancient pagan polytheism of making flesh and blood, dust and water our Creators. Islam is GOD's Truth.

S. 2:118 Yet if thou shouldst bring to those that have been given the Book every sign (ayatun), they will not follow thy direction; thou art not a follower of their direction, neither are they followers of one another's direction. If thou followest their caprices, after the knowledge that has come to thee, then thou wilt surely be among the evildoers. S. 2:145 They also say, 'Why has no sign (ayatun) been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Say: 'Surely God is able to send down a sign (ayatan), but most of them know not.' S. 6:37 They have sworn by God the most earnest oaths if a sign (ayatun) comes to them they will believe in it. Say: 'Signs (al-ayatu) are only with God.' What will make you realize that, when it comes, they will not believe? S. 6:109 They say, 'Why has a sign (ayatun) not been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Say: 'The Unseen belongs only to God. Then watch and wait; I shall be with you watching and waiting.' S. 10:20 The unbelievers say, 'Why has a sign (ayatun) not been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Thou art ONLY a warner, and a guide to every people. S. 13:7 The foregoing text presupposes that Muhammad’s only function was to warn people, not to perform miracles. After all, the statement "Thou art ONLY a warner" would make no sense if a warner could in fact perform wonders. In other words, being a warner wouldn’t preclude Muhammad from doing any signs unless, of course, the point being made by the Quran is that such individuals who assumed this role were not empowered to do miracles. The next text further illustrates this point: Then, it may be that you will give up part of what is revealed to you and your breast will become straightened by it because they say: Why has not a treasure been sent down upon him or an angel come with him? You are ONLY a warner; and Allah is custodian over all things. S. 11:12 Shakir I.e., "since you are only a warner it is not your job to perform miracles since you haven’t been given that ability. Rather, your job is to simply exhort and admonish people." The unbelievers say, 'Why has a sign (ayatun) not been sent down upon him from his Lord?' Say: 'God leads astray whomsoever He will, and He guides to Him all who are penitent.' S. 13:27 Naught prevented Us from sending the signs (bial-ayati) but that the ancients cried lies to them; and We brought Thamood the She-camel visible, but they did her wrong. And We do not send the signs, except to frighten. S. 17:59 This last passage is one of the clearest proofs that Muhammad did absolutely no miracles whatsoever. The text says that Allah refrained from providing miracles, which would make no sense at all if Muhammad did indeed perform signs and wonders. Regarding this verse, the late Sunni scholar Muhammad Asad candidly admitted: This highly elliptic sentence has a fundamental bearing on the purport of the Qur'an as a whole. @@xervive295 no thats not true. The bible didnt remain the same. The earliest manuscript is the codex siniaticus and none of the major denominations use that version, in fact i think no denomination in existence today uses that version. It has been changed, reedited, verses and books added or removed over time and they all disagree in some things theologically, yet they all claim to be lead by the holy spirit. You obviously never read the Quran because the Quran does not tell us to go to the people of the gospels to find the truth. This has been refuted over and over again. Where did you get this crazy idea that the Quran has to line up with the Bible and the Torah?. Its God's revelation so the bible and the Torah is irrevelant. We know today that the bible is corrupt just by reading the bible itself, so why are you using the bible as a measuring stick to dismiss the Quran? Its just plain dumb to do that. The Torah was written centuries after Moses so you cant even claim the Torah we have today is original

@@xervive295 You have to prove why the hebrew bible is true and reliable if we have nothing dating back to the author if you believe Moses wrote it or whomever. We just dont have them. The bible has many problems and errors within itself so why would you trust it?

Yea Catholic just means universal , the faith we have has to be the same to all Christians. If we all believe in the trinity, if we all believe Jesus is God , only saved by grace by the blood of Christ . It has to be the same

The church with Jesus present in the Eucharist - the new manna from Heaven?, the church that relives what Christ Himself said at the Last Supper? The church with Apostolic succession? The church which has the seat of Peter? The Church that has an altar for worship (Latria) rather than a podium? The church of a priestly class wearing robes just like the Levites and exclusive to the male sex? The Church that cannot err in the teachings of faith and morals? The Church mentioned in Matt 16:18? The Church that Christ gave the Keys to the Kingdom to Peter? The Church that gave us the 73 books of the Bible? Regards
