One of only 2 saints [other than the Blessed Mother ] to have 2 days in the calendar, June 24 and August 29 [the other is St Joseph, March 19 and May 1]. Also I have heard somewhere that John was freed from original sin at the time of the Visitation, when he leapt in the womb at the presence of Our Lord and the Blessed Mother.

Fr. Anthony, thank you for relating to us the story of St. John the Baptist. I already heard and read about him many times, but listening it again coming from you attracted my attention.
