Hilariously, when it came time for Igris to test Jinwoo, he initially sat at the throne himself in this really badass pose where he rests his hand on his chin and everything. Unfortunately, just before Jinwoo arrived, it occurred to him that "wait, isn't it too presumptuous for me to be sitting at the throne!?" and dashed off of it to hide behind one of the pillars instead. Successfully recovered and made a great entrance, but still.

That Tekken, don’t let him hit the ground, combo was crazy!

Igris rejected Jinwoo during the summon because of his disappointment for how weak Jinwoo was. Especially since Igris wasn’t even at full strength.

According to the game, he was a knight in a previous life. He was beyond the best and just kept searching for someone better than him. A bunch of nobles had him, his wife and his children killed. He watched his kids die, and the first Monarch brought him into the shadow army. He (Igris) then remembers basically everything after he heard the words "arise" when Jinwoo brought him into his army.

@@arifkimy4700 no clue buddy but it clearly states in the manhua that igris was born as a fruit. he's basically an Angel. he was among the first, possibly the first, one to join the shadow army. igris also served the previous shadow monarch before there even was a shadow monarch and even before igris himself died. he was legitimately there "from the beginning."

@@haymandisciple4121 That was Igris' appearance when alive. I believe it was mentioned in the side story that Igris was actually impressed with the architect for recreating it so faithfully. It was never stated what Igris was before he was a shadow soldier, though I believe it was implied that Igris' might've been a lot weaker when alive and grew to his strength while a shadow soldier.

He wasn't defending anyone on the throne he was just sitting on it, but then he heard jinwoo coming in, so he got up and walked out cold asf is what I can rember from the manhwa

I actually think that igris himself was the king of the army and commanded the wizards to attack all out if he ends up losing due to igris wanted a proper battle for so long but didn't fight someone as powerful as him. Therefore when his spirit found that once he lost he saw the bravery in jinwoo and found that he will serve him to stay withthe spirits of his fallen army since the army also followed jinwoo.

This is jaw-droppingly amazinf

Cant wait for the next season, this scene left me and way to high of a cliff hanger to be waiting.

Little do people know his secret.... He was once known & crowned as the "Red King" .....lets just say the throne was his at one point. Yes he is a Marshal & one or the best Soldiers out there. Also when he becomes apart Jinwoo's Shadow Army he wouldve heen known as "3 Star Lieutenant General" which would be considered the highest rank in thee army above a General then under that would be a Commander. Also with Igris being as stong as he is not apart of the Shadow Army. Lets you know when time comes and Jinwoo Uses him Jinwoo's Attributes would also add to the stats and attributes the Red Knight Igris has already

So Igris served Ashborn and was sent there by Ashborn to test Jinwoo's skill. Clearly, Jinwoo stood little chance against Igris in terms of strength and skill, and the only way he could win was by improvising in the end and stabbing Igris into the face between the faceplate. I guess that's how Jinwoo passed the test, both Ashborn and Igris (reincarnated as shadow) realized that Jinwoo's strength was his quick thinking and creativity. A worthy successor.

That's a trick question - he was knight rank and then ranked up several times to the rank of marshal and when the time came to decide who's gonna be Genral of Jinwoo's army he....

Before the fight igris was all panicking on what to do because the previous shadow monarch told him to wait fpr the new one. He thinks of multiple poses but stands behind a pillar panicked. He just says whatever and walk out from behind the pillar.

For the question really depends on what arc where talking about when he first joined Jin woo he was elite knight rank and at end of series he got back to his original strength becoming marshal grade again
