*If you don't have all dlc you need to load the save file from the launcher "continue campaign" after putting the save file in your save folder. It will override all dlc requirements*

I thought I had all the DLC's checked my steam store page and yes I had all but still that Catchweb Spidershrine was still missing so a little google search and I found out why I didn't have it. It has orks mounts ... I have only played orks once in WH1 and I hated them :D

@@airyonaspraker1833 the fix they will probably go for is not allowing you to make a vassal again after canceling it so soon in the diplomacy screen. Adding a 1 turn cool down. That would break the chain after the reliability gets thrown into the dumpster the following turn.

Sounds like when a faction gets turned into a vassal, their gold gets reset to default amount of 2000. Which you can then request in a new demand.

nothing to do with vassal mechanics, the AI always gets free money when they're below a certain amount so they don't go bankrupt.

Medieval European vassal relationships got nothing on the Warriors of Chaos + Goromadny Tribe

Thank you for showing this. I love Chaos, my first champaign victory on normal was with Warriors of Chaos, same with my first win on legendary difficulty, after watching Legend, of course. I did not use any mods or cheats for that win, only the movement exploit. Yet it shames me that I did not know this about my favourite race in the game, thanks, Legend. It would be even a greater shame for it to be fixed.

I did some testing myself and it only works of Legendary or Very Hard difficulties. For those of you who want to use this cheese without doing so on Legendary, simply start a Chaos campaign on Very Hard, follow the steps in the video, then go into Options, Campaign Settings, and adjust from there.

I mean, your currency for chaos is favor with the Chaos Gods so... I would think their Everchosen might start with a bit more of it considering he's meant to flow into the empire like a wave instead of pissing around in Norsca for all eternity tricking empire armies into dying to attrition.

This is essentially the same cheese that I told you about with regards to breaking military access with a defensive ally during a livestream, Legend. Interesting. For those who don't get what I mean; it works almost the exact same way: Be in a defensive alliance with someone, you automatically gain military access for doing so. If you've had enough of your alliance with them and someone hates them, you can go to the third party and tell them you'll break the MILITARY ACCESS (NOT the defensive alliance!) for gold. The MOMENT they pay you, the military access will be regained. You can farm this forever in a single turn, but be aware, THIS WILL TANK YOUR REPUTATION WITH THE 2ND FACTION (and pump your favour with the third).

Well, you can load the save file then go to game options while in the campaign, and put the difficulty to a lower level. With me it happened the other way around in one of my campaigns. I didn't notice I put the campaign on easy, until I saw the bonus on public order on 2nd turn

You can change between easy, normal, hard and very hard. Legendary has its own set of rules and it can't be changed after starting the campaign.

You mentioned this in the stream. But i think the answer is that the AI probably does not track money. It tracks income and builds armies to fit that income. (based on the bonuses from the difficulty). But it doesn't "pay" for things like diplomacy or buildings. This radically simplifies the decision tree for what is optimal. They pay(or accept) based on the action and your relationship. They build whatever building or unit is available and next on the list. You can get an infinite amount of money from "beaten" factions because beaten factions have a flag that guarantees they accept vassalage. This is likely done by overriding the relationship and balance of power calculations to always be maxed in effect. And as a result they will always give you 2k favor

I never really find myself that short on gold in the chaos campaign, because it just requires you to choose gold instead of growth when you sack a city. Plus, the bigger cities give more gold, but not more growth, so you don't even lose much by taking the gold option on the more valuable cities.

I think what's happening is each time you vassalize the tribe it resets them as a new faction like you liberated them. thus refreshing the cash to the minimum amount the ai gets when it's liberated so it can throw out some troops. Would be interesting to see if it can be done with other factions

Reason this seems to work is because releasing a vassal gives them 2k starting gold, which ofc you can then take away from them and then print from thin air when you release them again
