Don't you know Americans think everything revolves around them and everything came from America and Americans thus know everything about everything? Pizza came from the United States, pasta came from the United States, all Chinese food came from the United States. Germans could participate in the World Wars only because the United States Army trained militia groups that were sent to Germany who then naturalized and taught the entire country of Germany about warfare. It's a joke, of course, but fuckin' hell, the fact they couldn't guess "Kartoffelsalat" actually made me cringe. "Oh yeah, the German word "kartoffelsalat" stands for "sauerkraut", which is obviously an American English word and not another German word".

@@cvspvr @Marika Els as far as I am aware we know Shakespeare was definitely a real person, he was married, his death is recorded and records of him exist everywhere, however it is not known whether he wrote all of his poems or stories. It is reckoned he may have been used as a kind of cover person for someone else

@@johnderat2652 That logic makes no sense, that's like saying people don't know how to spell the colour "Red" because they learnt it back in Year 1. By the time you're an adult or even a teenager for that matter its not about remembering simple knowledge you should just know it, it's otherwise know as "intelligence" or "common sense." For example you don't have to remember that an apple is a fruit, you just know it is. So yea your logic is flawed but whatever the video was still funny.

@@snowbally8455 You're forgetting something. Knowing how to spell the color "Red", or knowing what a fruit is, is something you will use commonly, which will engrave it into your mind. These other complicated questions however? You'll barely ever use that knowledge, meaning you'll forget it. Like tuber, if you're not into gardening or botany, you will most likely forget it. This applies to most things you learn in school.

Well, to be very technical, no. Vegetables aren't actually real as a concept. There's no definitive criteria for what defines a vegetable in the way that we can clearly define fruits, nuts, and yes, tubers.
