Totally agree, dear Queen 🙂 I have been growing plants in semi hydroponics for over 4 years and have converted almost 100% of my plants. I am very fond of pon, as a medium, and have over 100 plants thriving in semi hydro. Some performed even better than in soil, given the factors of my home. For example, I have a beautiful Philodendron Gloriosum with 8 huge leaves!!! Thank you so much for your super interesting and informative videos. There is always something to learn from others... and from plants. Love, Henry (Italian Happy Grower 🙂)

I have only started my planting in Leca journey. I look forward to the future, seeing my plants grow big and strong in this medium. I hope they can be as large and gorgeous looking as your plants Nora. Thanks for another informative video. 🌿

Hi Nora. Thanks for an informative video. I’ve been growing in leca for about 18 months and the penny finally dropped a few months ago when I bought some Foliage Focus and realised then that our plants will only do well if you feed them regardless of substrate, keeping in mind that they will need appropriate feeds of course. Where possible I’m using only leca or Pon. NO MORE FUNGUS GNATS, YAY!

Nora I have a Ficus Benjamina that is about 6ft tall and well established. It's potting mix is full of ants so it desperately needs repotting. Would a transition to Leca likely be successful with such a mature plant?

Ha you decided what is the best moss pole?

  • @TheLecaQueen

No such thing as a best moss pole. It depends on how you are using the pole and what substrate you are using and what you are willing to do to keep it moist.

I grow plants in Leca, Pon and Aroid Mix. It works. Like you said, it’s a blend of science and art. I used self watering pots and no drainage. It’s lovely. 👍🏾Video. 🪴Happy Planting🌿
