This game would work better as a tower defense style game. The dad player would have time before the baby wakes up to secure everything he can in the house. Baby wakes up and tries to off himself. As time progresses the dad would unlock new items like cabinet locks, shiny keys to distract baby, and child proof medicine bottles.

I reckon they got the idea from Mad Nurse on the ZX Spectrum and C64, which is pretty much the same thing except you're a nurse looking after multiple babies in a maternity hospital and they all keep climbing out of their cribs and killing themselves in a variety of ways.

I stuck a knife in a plug socket as a kid , it blew the cover off the plug. A memory I will never forget , but it didn't kill me. Gst the baby to the 220 line and then your talking ..... lol a line I never thought I'd type or say but her we are......

My baby used to peel off and chew the rubber padding on the corners of tables. Very efficient dangerous behaviour :)

You can fine a pad lock to lock all the cabinets so the baby can't get to the stuff counter the counter. You can also find medicine to give to the baby when the eats anything bad.

the secret to the baby eating batteries and cleaners is the pills, that spawn in drawers. it has infinite uses, which makes it WAY easier to be the dad

You can give the baby pills so after drinking bleach or eating batteries or something along those lines the baby will be fine.

I think the baby needs a timer to do certain stuff, like three seconds to open a soap/bleach container before drinking it so the dad has time to stop it. It's a little unfair that it consumes stuff as soon as you click. Instant clicking makes sense when it comes to sticking a fork or knife in the power outlet, but it's too hard for the dad to take it away from the baby because you have to click it and it's hard to be precise. They need to increase the radius for taking things away from the baby. I've never played the game myself. I'd like to, but the game feels so one-sided that it doesn't seem very fun.

I think Who's Your Daddy is an interesting game and I can totally see the appeal in it to younger people (I used to have no problem with kids getting hurt in movies and games and shit when I was young after all), but I think James would agree that it's just hard to play this game if you have taken care of a kid. It's hard to separate yourself from the feeling of dread you would get imagining what if this shit happened to your kid, especially on your watch? I don't have children myself but I spend a lot of time with my niece and nephew and the thought of them poisoning themselves to death because I left something in the wrong spot makes me feel gut-wrenching horror.

Seems like the concept is loosely based on the opening sequence of Who Framed Roger Rabbit with Baby Herman. Those glitches and collision detection need some serious work though.

I think most of the glitches are intentional. This game has been out for at least for 6 months and still actively updated, none of the obvious glitches have been touched. In later versions, the baby can get out of bounds and jump into the infinite void under the level.

There is a way for the dad to do chores (e.g. setting the smoke alarm) that actually gives the dad superpowers (e.g. able to see the baby through walls). It helps with the balance issues.
