Great video. Wonderful to see all the babies. Sidney needs to be weaned and he seems like one who will throw tantrums. Mommas boy.

I always feel so sorry for the boy babies. As soon as they're mature, and sometimes even sooner, they'll be booted out of their natal troop and forced to fend for themselves. Some of them look so lost and confused when it happens. It has to be so difficult for them to make the adjustment.

I believe Bubby is Bossy's youngest girl, which would make her next in line. If something were to happen to her, then Bessy would be next in line. Unless, of course, if Bossy gives brth to another surviving daughter. It would be a rare thing, indeed, for another family to knock the current alpha female's family out of the line of succession.

At this point in the video 27:29 it is not apparent if Natalay’s baby is climbing trees, but looks like mom is more concerned with specific leaves around her than if her baby falls from the tree. She had turned away from the baby until looking in the opposite direction. I know they’re very quick, but they cannot react if the baby has already fallen. I get so irritated when I hear on other channels about a mother’s endearing love and lifetime sacrifice to care for her baby. How she would put her life on the line for the baby…. Etc, etc. I think it would be more accurate to replace the word “baby” with “food”. I believe they love that more than any animated being. In 4-5 years, she’ll write off a son, slap her daughter because a spiteful yearling shrieks like Layla. They never waiver on their commitment to food. They eat with a passion seen in no other activity. Babies like Sydney sit bawling “milkbar” not “mom” and mom grunts “food” not “don’t kidnap mt baby”, then after a thought “okay take my baby not my mango!”

@@a2Flisa I could be wrong though but during the video AM did about Vivy's life not long ago he never said she was dead and towards the end he said that he didn't think she was dead. If I remember it correctly. He also said that Vivy's and Spotty's disappearance had to do with a male from Fleur's troop. I don't know if he said the alpha male or not. My mind took this information and connected dots that may not be there😁 but I hope so. 🤓🇸🇪

For at least half of the Rhesus macaques that means no new babies while breastfeeding because easy explain the ovulation is wacko during mating season. 🤓🇸🇪
