So if you continue to sin knowing its wrong, not only do you have no Fear of God but you have no control of your flesh and this battle is a spiritual battle so you wont defeat your sins unless you rely on God spirit which is His perfect strength in your weakness.💟🙏🏼🙏🏼✝️

That knowledge is given to *every* heart. It's called the "Natural Law" (not to be confused w/the law of nature) that should guide your conscience, seperating right from wrong, reasoning. Most Protestant denominations called it a myth a while back, because it was taught by the Catholic Church. Some Protestant Denoms as of late have been wrestling with it, and a few have now accepted it. Is it in the Bible? Yes,I t is: Paul writes to the Romans describing Gentiles who do not yet have the law but “do by nature what the law requires,” saying that they prove that “what the law requires is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or perhaps excuse them” before God (Rom. 2:14-16).

@@gabepettinicchio7454that’s right! This is my favorite response to this. We may be earnest and honest, but we must be OBEDIENT to Gods word! The law he gave Moses and the implications of the law are written on men and women’s hearts! Whether saved or unsaved, they are given that Law! They are expected to keep that Law! If the Law was given to a few, why would we all be expected to keep it? Jesus Christ died to give us Grace in adherence with the Law, for it is written “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:16-17). The law is still the law, and how can we call God the Lord of our lives yet not do what he says (Luke 6:45-46)? The word was in the beginning and the Word was God (John 1:1) - we must follow that word if we say we LOVE Him. ❤ 🙏 ❤ 🙏

That is the point. These charlatans of Christianity use the same nonsense they used for its entire history to cause that in you which is fear of God and fear of hell. As long as they can make you afraid, you can be under their control. That is how Christianity was spread. Oh, and the whole "convert or die" method as well. They are basing everything they discuss on the bible which is one of the most unreliable books to read on earth. A math book has more consistency.

You are right, no person can die without sin. Romans 8 also assures us that, for those who belong to Christ there is no condemnation. HOWEVER, sin separates us from God. Continuing in sin presents a barrier that will stunt our relationship with the Lord. The closer we want to be to Jesus the less we will sin AND the character of Jesus will lead us to the fullest, most contented life we can have so it's best for US. The more appreciation of that we have, the less attractive sin becomes. When we sometimes give into sin and experience it's ugliness and hurt it causes we have the grace of God which is POWER that frees us from condemnation and enables us to grow away from sin and towards Him through the Lord Jesus living in our hearts.

Sure we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus' blood and not of works lest any man should boast...however we still need to be obedient to God for the completion of our salvation. We'll trip and fall and in those cases we repent and ask Jesus for forgiveness. Regarding works, we will be judged according to our works, God created us to do good works, we just can't think that any good work is good enough to cancel our sin debt, only God, the Son can.

Oh yeah, look how "simple" the gospel is. Millions of people have died over it, millions more died because they believed it falsely, and almost 2 billion currently believe some version of it, which almost never agree with each other. Your human sacrifice scam doesn't work if you bothered reading the old testament which says Yahweh would never allow a person to "pay" for someone else's sins.

He does, and it's good to see. I hope, over time, what seems to be a fear and anxiety of judgement, reduces. Hebrews 4:16 tells us to come boldly before the throne of God and there we will find mercy and grace. 1 John 4:18 tells us that perfect love casts out fear. Jesus is that perfect love and, if we fear we have yet to fully experience that love. This is not said in judgement. All who truly follow Christ are on a lifelong journey to more fully experience the depth of His love. One thing I continually question is the sincerity of my heart. Am more concerned about the motivation behind my doing the right thing than by the times I fail and to the wrong thing. The latter is obvious. The former is very easy to deceive myself.

Over time, as I developed a relationship with Jesus and my desire to please him (and by so doing help my own life and the lives of those I love), o realised that when I was stoned I wasn't the best version of myself. That's what let me to give it up. Not because it was "wrong" but because it was holding back my relationship with Him, preventing it from being as good as it could be. Did I HAVE to give it up? No. Did I WANT to? Yes.

I agree with you, George, that the verse you stated from Matthew is very scary. I know I don't want to be on that left side with the goats and hear Christ tell me that He never knew me.

It's refreshing to here him talk about his sin. This reference to the part of the clip where openly speaks about he fooling around with his GF before marriage. And openly dialogue about it. Not hiding it or pretending its not there. He acknowledges it, does not shy away from the responsibility to correct this behavior. Inviting people to help him with it.

This was a great conversation! I’m always questioning if I’m “good enough” to make it to heaven. And I’m not. I’m a dirty sinner and there’s nothing I can ever “do” to make it into heaven. But His grace is sufficient! Amen!!! With that said, willful sin is what will do a lot of people in. You said you know having sex with your girlfriend is wrong, and therefore you take accountability for it. God forbid, if today was your last day, where would that lead you? The willful acts of sin should be avoided at all costs! If you know that by having sex with your girlfriend goes directly against what God intended, then stop putting yourselves in a position to want to be intimate. Don’t go to each other’s apartment and cuddle up on the couch. We all know how easy it is for one thing to lead to another. Wait for marriage! It’s not too late to stop, just because you’ve been doing it. It can still be special if you wait. That’s my prayer for you both! Make it special. Make it what Christ intended 🙏🔥

Your post sounds contradicting. You state that youre a sinner and that Gods grace is sufficient but then advise to not commit the sin of sex because it goes against Gods law. Does not your sin do the same? Isn’t all sin willful? Asking sincerely.

I was just reading it this morning I guess this message will resonate to all of us, in relation to your concern. ”He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.“ ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Absolutely!!!! Marco you are right!!!! The word was in the beginning, and the Word was God (John 1:1) - we must follow that word if we say we LOVE Him. ❤ 🙏 ❤ 🙏

That was a good thought at the end. "Are you concerned about what God thinks, or what the world thinks". That may also answer the question as to whether or not your faith is sincere. Romans 7:15 - I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.
