Lucas being brutally honest and straight about the tastes and quality of the foods elevated this episode WAY beyond the past ones. You could tell it made everyone uncomfortable, and that worked. No kiss ass today folks! I do think they should've kept it a secret who cooked what, but otherwise that was the perfect deconstruction.

Man, Lucas needs to be on more episodes. Not too often, the world can't handle that energy every week, but he's a force of sheer contempt that is the perfect foil to this show.

This just makes me want to re-watch the other Mythical Kitchen videos with Lucas. He brings a fresh hellish energy that no one seems able to contain.

Lucas was so right about the crust thickness. If you're going to call it Detroit style, that's a fine thickness, but Sicilian is notably thinner than Detroit style, so... pick one.

I think Josh was going hard on the grandma style sicilian thing because he knew Lucas was puritanical about new york style pizza

You can see the evolution of Trevor become more of a bro in these cooking videos. Mythical seems like the time in college when you've pushed all your year long projects off and you're trying to finish them before the turn in date, but you're still trynna go to that party.

Gordon's mostly a caricature these days, but he's built 3 star Michelin restaurants. I think Josh mostly rags on him in jest, or maybe just the character he plays on TV these days. Rachael Ray definitely built an empire, but it didn't start with being a chef like Gordon, rather a fantastically marketable home cook

this is exactly why I suggested having more than one judge for these kinda things, because different people have different tastes and if you wanna go for specific tastes as putting cold cheese on a hot pizza eitheer make sure the person you're cooking for will actually, yknow, LIKE the food you're making or have multiple people around to make a fair judgement. Also the only reason Josh won was that, despite the fact he put on a bunch of stuff that didn't work for the judge objectively it was a better pizza because it was more cooked. So yeah make sure your food is cooked properly if you're cooking for a guest and wanna win a cooking contest.

Nicole is in my top two favorites on this show. It's her and Emily. And I'm not telling you which one is number one because even I don't know.

This is one of the best episodes of Mythical Kitchen I've ever seen. xD
