I would swap Torchic for Scorbunny because Blaziken already has a special form and Soccer is big in France

Also, it's likely that every pokemon with a mega, even from ORAS, will be in the game, so we'll have kanto, hoenn, kalos, and the other selection for PLZ

@@IDKCALLMEHUMAN yeah Pokemon legends Z-A is gonna be set in Kalos which is based on France, hence the French theme.

I understand that, but i want to rule out the Gen 3 starters. Since they already got megas, it’s be unlikely they’d get another, and obviously Rowlet, Oshawott and Cyndaquil are out, as well as the Kanto starters, as they were already in that region, same with Kalos starters. I think the starters would be what you said, but replace Torchic with Scorbunny or Litten.

I would toss in snivy, totodile and litten as starters. Three Pokémon that need an update somewhat.

Inceniroar is already a competitive monster as it is so i don’t know if it’s a good idea plus they will most likely get megas and Mega Inceniroar would be broken

Gen 1- Megas and gmax Gen 2- Hisuian typhlosion Gen 3- Megas Gen 4- nothing Gen 5- Hisuian Samurott Gen 6- skip because it's already a kalos game Gen 7- Hisuian Rowlet Gen 8- gmax forms Gen 9- nothing but it is the newest Therefore I think there will be a gen 4 starter

Blaziken has a mega evolution, and I’m convinced that the new starters will have brand new megas anyways, so I don’t think it’ll be that. I’m personally hoping for Snivy, Totodile and Litten.

Torchic is unlikely since the starters will likely get megas. I feel like cinderace is more likely. It would create a great dynamic for regional forms based off of execution methods. Serpirior could become grass steel based off of the guillotine . Empoleon being water electric to make hanging more painful and to represent how shockingly fast napoleon conquered most of Europe and how he shockingly came back to power. Cinderace would represent burning at the stake and being a fire steel type due to metal being put on the person to make them suffer more.

My guess would be that they choose mega evolve-able starters. So my guesses are Torchic, Bulbasaur, and *maybe* battle bond froakie. Unless new mega evolutions are introduced?

Good starter pick’s but there are 2 problems with it…. 1 the starters are probably gonna get mega’s but that is ofcourse not confirmed yet so yeahh that is why it is an 50/50 with torchic and 2: 2 birds and a snake? That would be wierd and they have never done to of the same type of animal in one starter trio ! So that is why i think the fire starter is gonna be scorbunny (Or they will reuse rowlet and we have 3 birb’s hahaha🤣🤣🤣)

That's like saying Charizard wouldn't get a GMax form because it got a Mega It doesn't matter, GF still loves them

Pokémon isn’t one to put two birds in one trio, so I feel like they’re gonna choose Scorbunny instead. If they don’t choose these starters, the next best bet is Tepig, Squirtle, and Treecko.

I would honestly like a Galar starter to get thrown into the mix as well, those guys are cool. However, if I were to pick starters for this game, I'd go with Bulbasaur, Totodile and Torchic.

I think we can rule out all the gen 1 and 3 starters since they already have megas, so they’ll probably want to choose starters that don’t have one yet
