Welcome viewers to a chilly Oulton Park track day where we had the opportunity to drive 2 very tasty motors! BDS kindly invited us down to drive their BMW Z4 3.0 race car and their customer Jonny's BMW E36 M3 track weapon and boy did we have some fun. Join us onboard and enjoy the ride!

Z4 is such a underrated platform . Loved my charged M54 one to bits
What a nice guy Bruno is to let you do your magic in those BMWs. Lets hope he really brings out that GT3 next :D
I've seen Bruno on Monky London's channel he knows his stuff and can drive a bit too!
That Z4 is a far cry from what it was when we drove it at Bedford! Looks amazing on track now. Great video guys, love that you're partnered up with BDS!

Ironically less skids than in the fwd baguettes
finally the boys are in cars that drive the correct wheels.
By looking at the front alignment it's clear that the Z4 is closer to it's stock setup which is less camber upfront so strange to see that on a race car. The Z4 tend to perform worse than 36/46 many people report it as twitchy and understeery then suddenly overteery like very snappy. I hear that it might be because the shorter wheelbase but the 2495mm wb is bigger then an S13 a miata supra rx7 etc so shouldn't be the case. I'd really want to own a 3.0 cause they are cheaper then 330ci in low mileage good condition the steering rack can be converted to hydraulic shouldn't be that expensive.

oil cooler mounts broke, was replaced during the day

@@martinguyexjr Me and my friend in his exige went off on the oil at Island bend (100mph 360 spin) We almost totalled both cars…. So you weren’t in our good books!

@@davidyip5557 No not their fault (sounds an unlucky one) and they obviously didn’t do it on purpose 😂 Just the most frightening experience for us both (if you’ve ever driven Oulton quickly you’ll know Island isn’t a nice place to go off) luckily no damage done…. Love the vids and good to see the guys out in some rwd metal!!
