@MarceloSilva-kp7mc to be fair know know how but he doesn't have the practiced reflexes to proforma it, that's kids the cause of stop start you know the gas makes go but the reflexes on how to handle accretion is what cause you slam on the breaks, it take practice to get reflexes to judge the accelerate is what you want

The DRAMA in this ep was so juicy. Even tho it was sort of low energy, I was glued to the screen. I could watch Percy and Annabeth chill and watch tv tbh haha

I'm still shocked some people don't get that 4 pearls is way better than 3, and if it's making book readers feel like "it's gonna be too easy with 4" then it's doing exactly what it needs to do give people a false sense of safety, they won't end up with four they just want people to prepare for a rescue and not for a sacrifice

I've never read the books, but ik about the nicknames and I was LIVING, so i knew when book readers watched this that they were gonna LOSE THEIR MINDS😭🤭

@@JabamiLain Yea in the book they made it out the day before the solstice. But they still had to get to Santa Monica (without a magic car) and then get to LA and find the Underworld by themselves, so it was still likely they weren't gonna make it in time

In the film Cat in the Hat, he once said: “LET THE 12 YEAR OLD DRIVE!!”.

I was so frustrated about how dark that scene was. I had to turn off all my lights and raise the brightness just to see the scene. Two things that need to change in modern film making is sound mixing for voices compared to noise/bg music and how dark scenes are getting without a real need for it. I understand it was underwater at night but stilllll.....

The Nico calling for Bianca easter egg was so easy to miss i had to rewatch this episode to find it

Uuuuum Hamilton is one of the greatest things ever written, and Lin is a GENIUS. All of his music is a bop.

Very unrelated topic but regarding you wondering why they have Andor in the headers again, is because I believe it won something recently at an awards show.

Anyone else think that the older satyr was giving Steve Bannon? 😬 There were some very interesting choices with this episode and it the biggest deviation from the books so far where they are enjoying themselves playing games for 5 days rather than talking for 20 minutes. I am intrigued by the decision to have them miss the solstice deadline...that never happens in any riordan book....EVER....I'm very curious as to why they felt it was needed because the tight deadlines are a great source of tension in the novels so the fact that quests might be able to be completed without adhering to deadlines makes me wonder whether they will create that sense of urgency in another way. Also the Nereid providing 4 pearls instead of 3 tells me that they are trying to save time later in the story.

Only issue I had with this episode, I never expected to see a clickbait title in a damn TV show. They didn’t even show a single zebra in the episode.

@@Starcatcher27 Where they show the animals in the road, there is a zebra escaping in the distance. It's easy to miss, though. It runs towards the intersection then turns left and disappears behind a car.

Yeah, logically, but spelling in English goes by the rule that -ce- -ci- -cy- are pronounced with a soft s, but -ca- -co- -cu- are pronounced with a hard k sound. Every time. That's why Orca is pronounced Orka, and not Orsa. Since his full name is Perseus anyway, he should be Persy, which would then be unambiguous, with Persabeth.

Hamilton is AMAZING. Definitely a must watch

i feel like levitating was their way of doing poker face for the new generation watching the show even though it definitely wasn’t as cinematic but also this is supposed to be more like the books
